@@5ubaruu it's the hybrid deployment sound, there's a certain amount of hybrid you can use over the course of one lap and the driver uses it when he wishes or else you wont hear the electric sound
For the ppl saying that is whistle sound is the electric motors or a turbo, it's actually the straight cut gears. They make this sound alright. It's the same sound our cars do when in reverse. It just happens that we have one gear in reverse while this car has six forward.
Daniels30 yeah thats correct. I see where you are going with that Pedro. I think you can hear them better on GT cars like the Audi R8 LMS or the Ferrari 488 GT3.
its the energy recovery/deployment, if it were straight cuts we'd hear it constantly, there are countless onboards where the driver manually presses the button for deployment and this whine is heard at that exact moment. GT3 cars are good examples of how straight cuts sound
