Just for tourists, if you go to Colorado and want to see the mountains, make sure to drink lots and lots of water. Also, it’s not a good idea to head up the mountain on your first day if you’re from a lower altitude

I drove to the top of Pikes Peak in May. It was only 26 degrees at the top and still lots of snow and ice about but really beautiful. I really loved Colorado. But as an Aussie, trust me, the traffic in Denver is nothing compared to my hometown, Sydney. Rush hour in Sydney lasts 24/7. It just never stops and Sydney drivers are so aggressive compared to Denver drivers who were incredibly polite. Driving in Colorado was a pleasure. Can’t wait to go back.

It rained a little and for the first time in my life I felt cold rain. I'm from Texas so it's always warm. I went to red rock and it was remarkable. Thanks for asking :)

Please use our road Customs while you were here. It is important to use your blinker in the Denver metro area! We have a lot of cyclists whose lives depend on motorist using their blinkers, and being aware of others sharing the roads and walkways. Also in Colorado it is customary to use the far left hand lane as a fast lane and a passing Lane, not to travel. Thank you in advance. I hope you have a wonderful visit

starting to? lol. Grew up in NYC. Moved to Aurora last summer. I have wanted out of there since I was like 8. haha so that's one thing off my bucket list. But CO will give you a whole bucket list unto itself!

Please use our road Customs. It is important to use your blinker in the Denver metro area! We have a lot of cyclists whose lives depend on motorist using their blinkers, and being aware of others sharing the roads and walkways. Also in Colorado it is customary to use the far left hand lane as a fast lane/passing Lane, not to travel. Thank you in advance.
