You are right. Trains are getting abnormal delays in howrah - Mumbai route for the last one and half years. Railways have made a mockery of the premium trains like Duronto. No maintenance, no service, & time table has become a joke . Railways are cheating people. What is the benefit of having an educated, professional rail minister? Only false promises by the railways. The railways have got their priorities all lopsided. Punctuality is out of the window. There is no such thing as cleanliness, be it short distance or long distance trains. Indian railway system does not have enough capacity for the traffic and demand. IR must add multiple parallel tracks. China has 5-6 tracks in most places India should do the same.

4 years ago k travelled in bagmati from chennai to darbanga and it got delayed over 20 hours and nowadays it has become normal for express train to get delay and vande barat os the reason for many trains getting delayed railway focusing on vande bharat instead of focusing te more number of passengers traveling train and also te way IR decreasing the number of sleepers and general coaches from train almost it as become hard for normal person to travel in indian trains day by day. Indian government focusing on the luxury where poor can't afford😢😢 and the safety is not what it used to be i mean to say nowadays i am hearing seeing many accident of trains and almost many innocent life and their dream dead so sad to see this 😢

Happened with me way back in 2014 when Poorva express arrived exactly 24 hour late at New Delhi railway station from Howrah. I actually went back to my home and came next day to board the train.

I support your opinion himanshu bhai nowadays staff are so rude in golden temple express or many trains they sell veg thali for 120rs with rudness even if you warn them that you will complain even in 22221 cr rajdhani they gave me only 1ltr water bottle from csmt which was later empty then i want more water bottle then they charged me 20rs so why is rajdhani charged for its services even if you have to pay for a water bottle thanks to ministry of railways

IRCTC Food scam k bare mein govt ko v pata hai isiliye kuchh nahi karte. I paid Rs120 for veg meal without Dahi and bill during dinner. Jab lunch time pe maine bola ki veg meal Rs80 daam hai as per irctc website toh aap jyada q le rahe ho. Aap bill do toh jhamela karne laga aur lunch ka khana v nahi laya. 12810 hwh CSMT mail 😢

This is the worst Duronto ever. I booked a ticket on the same train from CSMT to Howrah last year, and the scheduled time for departure was around afternoon from CSMT, the train although had other plans. It got rescheduled to at first 20:00 hrs then later it went to 00:20 hrs, at it ultimately departed at around 00:40. And ofcourse the train was even more late later on in the journey.

If it's happening on a particular route it might be because that particular zonal railway but yes after all it is under Indian Railways they should check it anyways ...

I don't know the problem with South Eastern railway they delayed local train and so on . But in Eastern railway side of howarh they manage everything on time. Note so much late . I think howarh is the clash point of ser and er railway officer
