Ukraine has been struggling against impossible odds since day one, and here they are, almost 1,000 days without giving up. It takes ukrainium plated willpower to fight under such prolonged pressure.
Ukraine is far from winning, but Russia is no better, they are recruiting people from poor country not because they are having no problem at all with man power, besides every advance they have comes with months of big losses in man and materials, if anything Russia have nothing to be proud of, specially thanks to the crime wars you see every other day their soldiers commiting
Russians? Powerful? Why did they drag North Koreans into the war? What happened punk? Russia is now dragging out old tanks and APC’s from museums because 80% of their garbage has been destroyed. You don’t live here punk, you know nothing about Russia or Ukraine so stop posting garbage
Those nine marines are what we call a "forlorn hope" Its a few men that either are first in on an attack, or last out to cover their comrades withdrawing. I watched a video on the subject a few days back. Glad they all made it out, that's pretty legendary. Cheers for the news. Glory to the Heroes UA !
9+1 * Holy hell that was insane. I can assume, they are the only guys in the world the USMC would be scared of ever fighting. They got overwhelmed, called artillery on themselves, survived the bombardment AND the enemy and just walked it off, while picking up a wounded soldier on the way. Just imagine facing up against a force like that.
yeah its the same story of the ghost of kiev in the early stages of the military operation whereas a Ukrainian pilot fighter destroyed many Russian fighter jets. 3 years later and still no proof
@@baelishinaction1339Same old laboured talking points. How about something new like commenting on your dear rulers botox OD for his gang of dodgy mates at thr BRICs POW wow in Kazan this week....gargoyles look less weird!
I'm glad marines managed to get the rest of the guys to safety but man...Ukranians are always fighting 5:1 with at least 3:1 artilery suport ...this is so incredibly hard. It's insanity. noone fights in such unfavorable conditions for so long. and It used to be even worse on artilery side but it's still insane. if you call one artilery strike they can call 3. I just hope people realize how big of sacrifice is Ukraine doing. You can replace weapons, you can't replace people. So give Ukraine more weapons so that they lose less people. It's unsustainable without increasing amount of help.
There has to be a balance between weapons and trained personnel available to operate them. For example, does Ukraine have a significant number of personnel currently doing little or nothing because they don't have weapons?
@@Reasonablyneutral Ukraine is short in every possible category; that is how it started, and it will remain that way throughout. It sucks, but that is how it is. The only place Ukraine beats Russia is in the bravery department. And you're right, if one wants Ukraine to win, one is not doing enough to make that a reality - obviously. Certainly not enough to move the needle. One will know when enough is enough, because we'll see things change, Russia will lose some occupied territory, and they will lose more of their own territory, and Crimea will be liberated. It will be obvious when enough is enough. And until those things start happening, it isn't enough. Note: I will be absolutely disappointed if Ukraine EVER surrenders, even as they are getting needlessly slaughtered. I would rather remember their bravery to the last, than remember their surrender. It would be cool to have another heroic, almost mythical tale, to tell for the ages.
Don't count only the number of shells or the fire power. Although there are shortages in pieces and ammunitions, Ukrainian fire has been more precise for long. However, it looks like Russians have made progress on that matter, thanks to drone that allow to correct fires.
@@danielduncan6806 There will never be a surrender per se. What will probably happen if Russia eventually manages to progress to the perimeter of the so-called "annexed" territory, is Russia will proclaim "SMO mission accomplished", which Ukraine is fighting tooth and nail to prevent from happening, because they suspect Western support may thereafter diminish. But hey, this is just a calculated guess.
@@XVXK79AppleNo more sniffing draino for you. It was your gargoyle putin who ordered the invasion of a smaller neighbouring country back in February 22. You clo wns assume we are as dull as you addled trolls. No potato!!
@@XVXK79AppleIt was putin who ordered the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 ie committed the ultimatewar crime. Do you think we are as dull as you to believe this garbage you trolls peddle?
A development for drone warfare in Ukraine to be sure, but not like it’s earth-shattering or anything. Optical recognition systems like this aren’t anything new, though afaik shoving such a system onto a cheap one-time-use drone is. Still requires a lot of operator input.
Amazing ,just amazing how well Ukraine is adapting to the changing war. Bless all of you and Thank You for fighting for Democracy across the world 🌎🌍 Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦 🌻🇺🇦💙🇺🇦💛🇺🇦☮️🇺🇦💫🇺🇸
And UN is celebrating its own anniversary after UN secretary general was joining Putin in the BRICS meeting in Russia. In my country Norway journalists only mentioned Gaza as a challenge for UN and never criticized Russia's occupation and war against Ukraine. UN has outplayed its role long time ago and is not needed anymore as an international peace keeping organization.
Agreed. UN troops in southern Lebanon were tasked with keeping Hezbollah out of the area, per the peace agreement with Israel. Now the same peacekeepers who let Hezbollah into the area are now whining about getting wounded by Israeli strikes against Hezbollah. There are some, especially in the UN, who want some sort of global governance for "sustainability" and other nonsense. Sure, let us surrender our national sovereignty to an organization in which China/russia has a big roll.
Thank you for this update from Reporting from Ukraine and bravo to our great Ukrainean commanders and heroes for their determination and doggedness in this report, I believe in Ukraine and I stand with Ukraine Slava Ukraini greetings from eastern Nigeria
@@KrisWustrow Though I would argue the Ukrainians are the Vietnamese in this scenario. They are fighting against an opponent with greater resources, but whose goal isn't even consistent. The Russians are being forced to draft troops to be sent with little training. The Ukrainians are fanatically devoted to the defense of their homeland, unleashing both regular and irregular attacks. The war has no end in sight. The Russians cannot strike the countries supplying Ukraine with military force. Like "search and destroy", the Russians define "success" strictly in terms of territory seized. It's very McNamara Fallacy.
In fact I would argue the Russians have made the Vietnam War look comparatively competent, as America was never stupid enough to outright annex territory IN Vietnam.
@@David_Crayford HAVE YOU SEEN THE MEL GIBSON MOVIE ?? set during the vietnam war entitled "We were soldiers" he uses that command/term "Broken arrow" to call in an airstrike on his positions which was already overrun...
Good Job! Well, this has been an effective incursion, but it's not worth keeping against the odds. A strategic withdrawal has presumably always been in the plans.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
true, every single day we hear of some courageous act from Ukrainians, you and i both bet and believe its all for propaganda purposes, not one percent is true
I watch this video while thinking about how much you and your channel have developed over the last two and a half years. At the beginning, I saw a reporter... now I'm watching a military analyst. You've developed a deep understanding of miltary strategies and the practical aspects of combat, and you're able to convey that to your viewers in an understandable and interesting way. There must be an enormous amount of work involved in research and video editing, and I want to say that you are appreciated. Very much. Every day. My best wishes to you and your family. :)
@@allanfarr There are guns and guns. Are you talking about war weapons? Hunting weapons? Here in Europe, restrictions on detaining, transporting and using weapons, not only guns, are heavy, and we could live with this for decades. And we aren't all communists.
Russia 74 000 soldiers in Kursk ( 60 000 in operation ) Ukraine 13 000- 31 000 ( moving in and out across the international border at will ) From a defensive point of view Ukraine still has a good chance of winning

@@XVXK79Apple he's gone, and so is his legacy. Stalin also deserved no prayers but his legacy still stands, as a result, it's the only dictatorship left waging war against Europe. Regardless of what happens in the war, Putin doesn't have long before he joins them in the cold ground.
Acts of monumental bravery and immense desperation, while Europe is still dragging its feet over weapons production and the US is paralysed with fear. Putin's escalation by directly involving troops from a 3rd should have given NATO the green light to declare Ukrainian airspace a no fly zone, at the very least allow use of long range weapons in Russia, but no, our leaders are far too scared.
Army guy saying this. I've been in sh!tty situations with US Army Rangers, US Special Forces (repeatedly), the Belgian Commandos (THANK you, guys), and the French Foreign Legion. But there is nobody I would rather be in a sh!tty situation with than Marines. MUCH respect. The pace of Ukrainian innovation is astounding. I have a really good idea of how they're doing target recognition and tracking; the germ of it is baked into drones that have a "follow me" capability. That's SOLID work. As is offering your enemy a flank so that you can pincer them in return. The AFU is mastering maneuver warfare incredibly fast. russia fails at this every time they try. Every. Time. And the AFU never interrupts them while they're making a mistake. Kursk is letting the AFU fight the dynamic war it can fight, rather than the setpiece war it has to fight on its own front. In every way imaginable, Kursk is a massive success even if they eventually withdraw from it. The Kursk Marine movie will be made, I agree. But the Mariupol movie HAS been made. 20 Days in Mariupol. I have to be honest: I don't have the stones yet. As a combat vet, I have trigger movies that I test myself with now and then, to see what things mean. But this documentary... I just can't do it yet. I'm too angry as things are.
@@Pisatel1912 Ukraine was originally sent 200 Bradleys. Around 80-100 have been destroyed or damaged. More than 300 Bradleys were part of an aid package announced in May, which contained more then 400 M113 APCs, an unspecified number of HIMAR rocket systems, 10,000 Remote Anti-Armor Mine systems, 200,000 152mm artillery rounds, 60 radar systems, 5,000 grenade launchers, and 8 patrol boats. This package was made to bolster Ukraine's defense of Kharkiv and Chasiv Yar, Since then, additional military support has arrived from the USA and the Western Bloc, along with Japan, Australia and other countries. South Korea recently announced an impressive package, including their tanks, which is currently ranked among the top tanks and some experts have said it is likely the best of them all.
Now ai targeting is being implemented can have carrier drones piloted and launch ai targeted drones at identifed targets even 2 launches doubles the fire power each trip and carrier can recon or return to reload
Is the Rasputina the muddy mess not as bad in Kursk? I'm just curious. The ability to make tactical withdrawals underfire and retain unit cohesion speaks volumes of these ukrainian units. It's important to remember it has taken the russians two months to mass 50k something troops to counter the Ukrainian offensive that was performed by less than 10k Ukrainian soldiers. I would bet the ukrainians are rocking a 1:3 maybe 1:4 combatant v. Logistic personel. This means their are only about 3 to 4 thousand soldiers holding this mob of russians back. And thats what it is, it's a mob. The Russians are barely putting together meatwaves at this point, half these guys were cops three weeks ago.
You are absolutely right! Russia lost more than it can afford, it continues only because crazy Putin can't accept he failed. Therefore, the bill will be much bigger for Russia when the time to payback comes. Sure it will come! All the dictators are CRAZY, they do not read history and believe the progress can be come back. Democracy look weak only because it focuses on trade, not on war. But when it is challenged, when it switches from trade to war it can't be beat. Hitler believe the USA was weak and focused on easy life, but when the industry might of USA start produce weapons all the world see how wrong it was ... Same with Russia now - they believe the world can back to dictatorship and oligarchs that leave good and reach over billions other poor people? And will gather support from those same billions of people??? Should have a mental illness to believe that is possible ...
I read about a similar situation in WWII: a platoon was sent in to hold a position that should have been assigned to a full company. The Americans were subjected to heavy German attacks for most of two days, with ammunition, food & water running low. The lieutenant in command called in artillery strikes to counter them. At one point the lieutenant called a strike directly on top of his position; the Colonel in charge of that artillery unit responded, "Do you realize that you are asking for fire exactly on your position?" The lieutenant replied he did, "but if we don't get artillery support, you'll nothing to support." The platoon made it out, with only 2 dead & 6 wounded. The men were afterwards all awarded medals for their heroism.

While we all agree that it would be good if everyone person capable of defending Ukraine joined the UAF, some may not have the mental tenacity required. It's best that each of us do what we can to support Ukraine with donations. So, now I ask you, what had you done? How about a 5 euro cup of coffee, if you have the financial means to do so? You know captchas? Like identify the bicycles or whatever. This tech is basically that, identify the tank looking thing then fly at it until you explode. It's a useful tool for the moment because it circumvents how Russia had been disabling drone attacks but there will be other countermeasures developed as the push and pull of how to utilize drones continues.
@@estefencosta1835 You know the face recognition app in your phone? that's convolutional neural network AKA AI. Ofc calling it "captchas" would make it sound more alarming than "autonomous AI in combat in Ukraine".
No, it does not. You guys are mislabeling "Automatic" as "Artificial" meaning "Artificial Intelligence". There is not intelligence here. I keep saying this to people and they keep mistaking things. Artificial intelligence would think on its' own, and need no human input. You're seeing people pre-choose targets and fire at them. That's literally just how coding works. It doesn't matter if we use advanced large image model technology to do so, it is people doing the input. Nothing about this is what I would call "intelligence".
@@Trubripes The point is this isn't some profound new technology being deployed. It was expected and is novel for the moment.
