I understand Nick doesn't want to spoil his image by not putting his best on stage. I don't question his rationale. I just feel that whether you would have won or lost in the 2024 Olympia, losing is not the opposite of winning. Losing is a part of the winning process. Win or lose officially you win by participating and gaining experience. So my decision would likely be different if I were in Nick's shoes. But having said that, I am not Nick. He himself alone knows what is best for him.

Hate to say it, I like Nick, but 2yrs in a row where he keeps getting predicted lower on the list as updates come looking ridiculous for Andrew, Samson, Hadi, Derek, n Hunter...NO WAY does Nick have a chance to beat giants or same heights with symmetry n shape out the wazoo. Seems more like a realization that "if Im not in the top 5 I refuse to be up there" than the body "being too relaxed and needs chaos to thrive". Most BS thing Ive ever heard. Ppl perform better under pressure. But the body gets worn down....not boost up like a SuperSaiyan n suddenly look like Jay Cutler at his absolute best. When he first got with Maria, buying a house in Vegas, buying new cars, he didnt seem stressed out or in chaos. He was happy as hell on every podcast n brought a crazy physique to the stage. I think its way too many drugs to blow up too quickly n shoot to the top. Now the body isnt responding the same as it did as it gets used to n "worn down" from those substances. Equals physique not being at its best, Nick cant stand being onstage n not being one of the front runners. Makes sense, but a real champion doesnt run n hide, as we heard a BS reason from Nick last week that "we're doing something different this year, no updates". You go up there n take the losses too. Like Jay n Milos keep saying "SOMEONE HAS TO PLACE LAST". Sadly its the mark of this new generation. If they arent getting all the recognition n praise, or wins, they just dont wanna up there at all. Entitled mindsets run rampant in this current crop. Samson, Hunter, Derek, Curry, Bonac. Always a logic that they should win or be in the top for some other influential factor. I believe this is a sign for the IFBB to see n change IFBB Open standards. The guys these days are blowing up way too fast n their bodies cant go long like that. Samson is next to fall apart. If Dereks chest n abs dont improve this year, his body might be next to fade

If this is a health issue then I understand, but if it’s because he won’t be at his best then that shouldn’t be allowed. Olympia should crack down on this quickly. Loads of bodybuilders compete when they are not 100%

As a fan, it's obviously disappointing not to see Nick Walker on the Olympia stage. However, the one going through the hardest and most painful time must be Nick Walker himself. Many fans in Korea see Nick as the next Olympia champion and are cheering for him. I hope he takes care of himself and prepares well for the 2025 Olympia. I always cheer with all my heart. To my hero, Nick Walker!

I have always been a huge NW fan but I’m fading away. He’s a week out from the O and doesn’t look like he even tried to cut. Plenty of guys on that stage that know they won’t be number 1-2 and still show up. To say he doesn’t have an obligation to anyone is BS.
