how do you get over 240 fps with gtx 1080 i have gtx 1650 ti corei7 10750h and 32 ram and still cant get over 200 fps and i always getting fps drop can you help me pls
Fortnite is a CPU intensive game especially on performance mode. The i7 10750H isn’t as good as 3700X, also it’s a Laptop Processor too and Laptops have more strict temperature limits and quite often aren’t as good as Desktop PC’s. I recently posted a video on how I optimise my PC, feel free to check it out as it may help you a bit!
hey! specs : ryzen 7 3700x gtx 1080 8gb asus b550f motherboard corsair vengenace 3600mhz rgb ram bequiet 850w psu nzxt x63 AIO i would recommend getting the 5600 instead of 3700x! performes better in some games and is newer. ali express have these for around 70 pound. i just ordered one for a future build. Have a good day!
Hmm I don’t think ram speed would make that much of a difference.. not from my experience anyway. Make sure you have precision boost over drive enabled in bios. Resize bar enabled, you could try new ram but I don’t think that’s the issue
I have a 5 5600x with 1080ti is doing good but im petty for more fps since im competive but is it really a big difference from 5 to 7? Or should i just get a 2080
@@BondaayyFn just keep the 5600x no point going back a generation. The only 5000 series I recommend getting is 5800x3d or maybe 5900x if you do a lot of multi tasking/streaming/video editing
@@BondaayyFn so a better GPU could be beneficial is you use it as your streaming encoder but you will not see a performance difference in fortnite, at least not at 1080p low settings or comp settings. I tested this 3700x with a 1080 and a rtx 4070 and it had no improvement whatsoever. Fortnite is a CPU intensive game dude
@SpecBench alr thanks I just got this pc last month so I don't know shit about it but gonna upgrade it when the rtx 5090 is out ig. I didn't know how good this old gpu is holy shit
@@BondaayyFn 1080ti is a beast man! Best thing to do is just wait till you can get a 7800x3d and a top end GPU and you’ll have a beast Pc That can play games at max settings high fps
@@wild_skull1146yeah I would say something is wrong, follow khorvie tech’s windows optimisation video, he walks you through all the steps. See if that helps!
Urmm lemme think 4090 ( not for much longer ) 4070 ( coming tomorrow ) Gtx 1080 Gtx 1660 super Gtx 1060 3gb ( sold my 6gb) 2 x gtx 960 Gtx 760 Gt 1030🤣 A lot of them are for pc builds that I sell so they don’t all stay long, hence why I make these videos!
