I have a fully restored and calibrated 2465BDV on a K212 cart FROM Tektronix themselves. I am embarrassed to say I did NOT know about the 5 divisions measurement. Time to read the manual! Again..... I absolutely LOVE these videos, please keep posting them to preserve their history. I still repair analog audio and video gear with my 2465BDV. Still quite the scope, even today.
Check out the RU-vid Channel W2AEW. Allen Wolke is/was a Tektronix Support Engineer. Lots of videos with great insights on how to use analog and digital oscilloscopes.
I still have my 2467BHD on a Model-3 cart. Youngsters might never know about the secrets hidden in analog waveforms. I still repair CRT monitors with mine.
I have a 2467 on my stack which I got from an engineer who worked on the microchannel fabrication process. I aquired two 2467B's which have some issues. I hope to repair them. Please demonstrate some non-obvious features of these wonderful machines.
My Tektronix 2465 is just a great scope. It is 300 MHz scope , yet I can still display and measure a frequency up to 1 GHz. It has the Options 06 and 09 which just adds to its usefullness.
@@jspencerg Options 6 and 9 appear to come as a package. They provide a Counter/ Timer/Trigger extended functions and a digital WORD (17 bit) probe with built-in port. You get features such as the display of the frequency of the signal without using the cursors, measure Period and have a Counter as well. Plus an Event Counter. All menu selected. The problem with the WORD feature is the documentation from Tektronix very thin. Mine also came with the TV Option (5) which has both hardware and software features for measuring TV signals.
@@lawrencelederer5060 Thanks. Those are good options, upgrading it to 2467B functionality. Your unit is loaded. Perhaps the documentation for the Tektronix 308 would flesh out the instructions?
