Such a great bass for this song , "a Night for counting the Stars" which has the most moving lyrics, a poem from Yun Dong-ju, about conflicting feelings of love for his country, his Mother, poets. He is foreseing his death at the end, his grave covered by grass, "Yet when spring comes around to my star after winter, even on this hill where my name is buried, shrubs will grow thick as if boasting like the green grass that sprouts on a grave." He was prisoner of the Japanese and died so young(1945 ) Ko woorim has been interpreting this song in concerts, it is part of his solo concerts, and here during his Mandatory Service it is so moving to listen to this song, he sings with his soul and feelings, for the remembrance of this young poet who honoured his beloved country. His rendition is going crescendo till that 'cry' for his Mother, truly heartbreaking. Woorim is such a great singer !
