Friday the 13th sounded scary. I actually started the day with a long walk from our apartment in Edgware to Mayfair, where I explored Jermyn Street. I recorded the walk in a four-part video which I have uploaded previously, but I was back at the apartment by 9.30 am, taking the tube obviously.
There was some serious business after that though as Irfan attended his campus orientation. While he was doing that, we explored his banks, walking around Borough area where Irfan will be living in the next year.
We had some coffee by the cafes around there before heading to Fortnum & Mason in town for a proper lunch and of course some shopping.
Later that afternoon, we went for a walk at Hyde Park, about 10 minutes away from our apartment. There were some cute mews around there which we explored, and the great weather certainly lifted our moods.
We then took a cab to Bayswater for dinner - at Putera Puteri. It was certainly a long day ...
