Comes down to good car setup and settings, i couldnt drift with the new BX for shit until i dialed my settings in more, now its not as difficult but not as easy as assetto
take a grandmarshal and just slide around with it. Its the best car to learn counter-steering in (in my opinion), I have learnt how to drift with it and its my most favorite car.
Drifting in BeamNG is far harder than in real life. I had few BMW's, so I know what I mean. As close to reality (imo) as can get is LiveForSpeed. BeamNG drift is realistic on dirt and with fairly light and not too powerful vehicles.
BeamNG got update recently, which added automatic countersteering - it makes drifting on keyboard / gamepad much easier and you see it on video i think
