It's very telling, when you see Moog interact with fans. You immediatly get the fact, that these guys truly care for the fans, and know that fans have brought them far. I hope MCM just keeps growing bigger and better over the years. :)

I've been there; I had a car I bought wheel covers for... no shame in wanting your car to look a bit nicer. to be honest, I think my covers actually took a third of a second off my 1/4 mile. (which is crazy, as they add weight to the car!! go figure.)

Turbo Yoda is literally a gift from God. It's incredible how much knowledge this guy has.

I always put a jubilee clip (dunno if they're called something different in Oz?) on a rubber hose, tighten it slightly and use that as a guide when cutting hoses, gives you a nice clean straight edge. Also, I have a man crush on TY, proper chilled out bloke.

As this build goes on we tend to forget that Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry's, and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS. And a Motec exhaust

Hey mates, I had that car. Regarding the courtesy flap on the filler neck to the gas tank, it's not to prevent gas spills. It's to prevent scratching the paint when you insert the nozzle. You guys do real good work.!

Marty and Moog, the music often draws me to MCM because it’s just so peaceful and inspirational, but you guys have stepped it way up throughout this build. Seriously well done. I didn’t know if you would ever surpass the overall score that came from Kei to the City, but you have. You got better, way better, and you were already at the top. Please keep it up. Your music plays in the background while I work on my own cars, just without the cool montages and Turbo Yota floating in and out of frame.

Love you guys! I miss my 240 Z, It had a transplanted engine and transmission from a 280 Z. The best thing was triple Webers on the intake side, so lovely and mechanical. Driving a Corvette these days, a direct injected LT-1 engine and a seven speed manual have their charms. Keep up the great work!

In Canada (and USA) They call Bridgestone Potenza RE-003 Firestone Firehawk Indy500. I bought a set for my rims based on your guys recommendation. They are cheap and wonderful, I have a lot of power in my GTI so I spin all of first and most of second, going to wait until its actually hot outside and the compound does what its designed to do in the summer.

I've been reading (slowly!) through an old book by Corky Bell called "Maximum Boost" that is something like an older college class in turbo's... one of the interesting turbo versions I saw in it so far is a kind with two (!) exhaust intake ports that go to the back and front of the turbo power turbine disk - to deal with turbo lag I think. Reason I brought that up was I wondered how it compared to two smaller but separate turbos, What is the "YODA LOW-DOWN" on that bit? I agree a hundred percent about excessive plumbing! In theory you could have one turbo for each cylinder, but your engine bay would look like a giant bowl of "Ramen Of Outrageous Size" (R.O.O.S. as opposed to R.O.U.S. for all of you Fallout New Vegas fans...) BTW: Did you know? The scroll shape of the Turbo housing is called a "VOLUTE", and has its roots in ancient architecture - Roman and Greek in particular. They styled the bases and tops of certain columns in buildings after sea shells, and this became the "Volute" shape somehow... I'll be going now - I'd rather not be nick named "Professor"

Rear diffs on the 1st gen Z-cars were pretty bulletproof. Back in the day, 350 V8 conversions were a pretty common swap with no need to upgrade the rear end.

my 1985 Porsche 944 has the flap on the fuel filler as well. Also is great for preventing fuel pumps marking your car!
