In the illusion, objects are all around you. All my goodness, you can hardly move without bumping into an object. But just what are you bumping into? Energy. Everything is energy. So, no matter what it looks like to you, it is energy.
As you direct your awareness to what you bumped into, your senses absorb information. The data is meaningless to the senses, and they cannot analyze it because that is not their function. They just submit the data to the mind for decoding and interpreting.
The mind analyzes the data from the energy of what you bumped into. What is meaningful for you compared to your life experiences, memories, and belief system is selected. You interpret your best guess from the selected data as to what you bumped into and create that as an object in your inside world.
The Wisdom in A Course in Miracles: “All things you see are images, because you look on them as through a barrier that dims your sight and warps your vision, so that you behold nothing with clarity.” (acim.org/acim/... | T-31.VII.7:2)
“You behold nothing with clarity.” You see nothing as it is. You always experience life through a barrier. It is not just the dimness of your sight but all your senses. You experience everything through your lens of perception. Depending on your lens of perception, that barrier can cause your life experiences to be distorted, warped, and dim indeed.
So, seeing any outside object is an outside projection of your inside interpretation of the outside energy you bumped into or is outside of you. This is in my second book, Outside - Inside. This is done so fast that your slow, conscious mind tells you it is an object, and you never know it is energy you bumped into.
All you ever experience is a subjective world. There is no objective world. You are a subjective energy being and the creator of the whole thing. Will you recognize that? Not from within the illusion.
