I've gone 'back to black' and bought another Black Diamond Distance Tent. This was the model I sent back a few years ago without trying it. But after much research for a super light, inexpensive bivvy style tent for the summer that could handle rough weather, all roads kept coming back to this. But is it a mistake to spend £175 on this single skin thru hiking shelter? I attempt to find out with a camp in mixed wintry weather on the West Highland Way.
