GREAT tips. My fav is lining the bottom of the air fryer with tin foil to minimize cleanup. I already have the Reynolds Wrap Sheets that I purchased at Dollar Tree so I'm ready to go!!! Great video!! Thanks!!
I have a special request to ask of you. It's completely up to you of course. I've been trying to find ceramic, porcelain, tempered glass cooking bakeware to use in my AF and AF oven, but other than a few dinky pieces that really don't fit right or aren't the right size I can use, I haven't found anything. Would you mind sending comments to your favorite AF manufacturers about coming out with a line of bakeware, specifically made for AF's and AF ovens?? I will be doing this myself. But companies usually only take comments seriously if there are TONS of people sending in the same comments. I would love to have some good pieces of bakeware that fit into my machines, that have the appropriate handles on them, and also come with lids that can be placed on top while inside the machines. I bought a Cosori after watching one of your videos. I was given a" Dash" air fryer by a friend who no longer needed it. I picked up rather quickly on the different foods I was able to cook but it was a basic machine. Had the temperature and timer, that was it. It didn't have all the bells and whistles the Cosori has. My Cosori is amazing! I still use the" Dash", and it's very handy having both air fryers. One holds the main courses, the other holds the sides with little to no waiting to have a meal come together all at once. Meals are so easy that I almost feel guilty for not putting in more effort! NOT! Not standing at the stove for hours, what would our grandmothers say about that?! I love watching your videos, the simplicity in your demonstrations, and your children's ratings. So yes, here I am...hooked and spreading the word. PS. We are now frequent consumers of chicken wings like never before!

The very first thing I made in the Cosori that you recommended was two, two inch thick rib eyes and they turned out spectacularly!!! Between the tempering time, cooking time, and resting time, our dinner was very late but it was worth it. I’ve been pouring over your videos and saved some to reference. I’m 49 so I’m pretty used to doing things a certain way so I was afraid I’d just leave it collecting dust. Especially since we eat keto. But I’ve been cooking like crazy since it got delivered and my husband loves it.

It makes mealtime a pleasure because of the variety of meals that can be air fried, the clean up is easy and food is ready much sooner than with other methods - -not to mention that it's healthy and oh so tasty!! What truly sets these creations apart is my favorite vinegar dip, which enhances the flavor to perfection. In spanish they call this "CHICHARON," thought it is usually made of pork skin.

I just bought the Ninja air fryer 4 days ago and have used it every day, some days more than once. It’s our new favorite thing! Chicken and Steak came out so juicy, my sons absolutely loved the frozen Tyson breaded Chicken in there too. Reheated leftover Pizza and it was just as good as when delivered. If you’ve been thinking of buying one, just get it already. lol Now is a good time with all the Black Friday sales. Thank you for all your videos, they help a lot!
Love your videos. Another tip: if you’ve had your air fryer less than one year and the grill basket starts to peel or wear out, contact the manufacturer. That’s what I did. I sent pics, model number and proof of purchase and they sent me a new basket free of charge within a week! I’ve seen other RU-vid air fryer videos that look like they’re using Pam. Is it proven that it’ll peel the non stick coating off?
Great tip - you are right! I missed pointing that out! And although I haven't personally experience it, I have also heard that Pam will make the non-stick coating peel.

Thanks Cathy -always great content. Once a month I deep clean my air fryer with a hand held steamer. I use your sling idea but wish a company would make a silicone sling - they would sell like hotcakes. Found the foil sheets at Dollar Tree but never thought about using them UNDER the basket! Many companies now sell pre-cooked and sauced baby back ribs that turn out just great in the air fryer - YUM and so easy.
Ah - I think I remember you telling me about the hand held steamer! I don't have one to try that out for myself! And I think YOU should go into business for yourself and create products like that! Great ideas! :)

I've just moved to rural Norway & their isn't a proper English chippy down the road. Solution: I purchased an airfryer alone with chip seasoning from the local supermarket & followed one of these RU-vid videos (I like the one that details how to draw out the starch from the potato with baking soda) for a proper thick cut semi-dry oily crispy result. Great little investment indeed. Can't wait to try out the haddock which theirs ample freshly caught in my locality.
Question say I have something small to air fry. For example I have 2 chicken wings that I didn't fit in last time. Do I have to do the full cooking times for just the 2 chicken wings? Or can I use less time or less heat?
I have a question: I just purchased an Instapot XL (see through window). Have not used it yet. The day it arrived I saw Booby with Flavcity say ANY airfryer with the teflon coating is really bad for your health and said to get one without the nonstick coating. He did not proved brands: what are your thoughts? Recommendations?
Excellent! Only comment, when cleaning body of AF, don’t just wait until cool, also UNPLUG it for safety. Someone will design a heating coil that snaps or pops into place so you can clean easily, just like the electric range burners, you just pull them out and if they ever wear out or break another one is easy to buy, hope a manufacturer reads this as it will make ALL the difference. I would most certainly buy an air fryer with this device. "now why didn't you think of that before now"
I tried your veg mix with sausage and it's FAB! The times need adjusting for my fryer, as the potatoes and carrots (I went a little off plan) were too al dente, but that's an easy fix.

Hey Cathy, I would love to get some of the magnets but which ones do I need to get? One of the Ferret ones say only can stand heat to 350. And so does this mean not safe if i was cooking at 400?

D'oh! Never thought to use the foil squares underneath the basket. Love that idea! One tip about the Dawn foaming spray stuff - make sure you rinse it REALLY well afterward. I didn't rinse mine good enough one time and the next thing I cooked in there tasted like the Dawn. Gross!!! LOL.
YES you are right about that. I forgot to mention that - twice I left it sitting out too long (forgot about it) then a teenager started cooking nuggets! The one I have right now is a green apple fragrance and the whole kitchen smelled like it. Ack!
If you've worked with an induction stove you will never, ever.... ever want to work with a traditional stove again. ;-) And with an induction stove nothing will happen with the airfryer if you turn it on
Hi Kathy, LOVE your shows. Glad you added a tip of using Dawn Powerwash, the BEST! One concern is regarding the magic eraser. Be very careful as a lot of them contain formaldehyde (you do NOT want to breathe in those toxins- trust me. Been there done that). Thanks again. ENJOY!
Agreed. I was going to mention that about the Magic Eraser (cleaning product). That's one "tip" that I'd suggest to strongly avoid. People will not want the toxins of Magic Erasers. Otherwise, the other tips are good. Thank you.
Oh one more I forgot...I'll put a lil ramekin of water in the basket if I'm reheating (ie fries, muffins, breaded cuts, etc). Keeps them moist just like in the microwave but w/ the crispness of the air fryer!
Hey Cathy you are amazing and so are all your videos! Have you tried all the Cosori fryers? Do you have a favorite? I have a Gourmia which has just a tray inside the draw that holds the food and comes out whenever you want. I’m putting a Cosori on my Xmas wish list and I’d love to narrow the choices down. I just found this channel and I love it. I got my air fryer less than a week ago and your videos are really helping me with ideas and tips. I tried frozen fries (before I knew about preparing things for the AF) chicken wings, frozen Cornish game hens and frozen onion rings. (I followed the suggestion that came with the AF) and I burnt two batches. I'm learning and getting better each time I use my AF. Thank You for being.
Oh Cathy, you are so full of it - Tips that is :-) Love the magnet trick to keep the parchment paper down, and the tips on using aluminium foil below the basket, making it easier to clean the air fryer. At times it does seem a pain to spent a few minutes cleaning the fryer up, but it is worth it not having to smell the previous meals smokng away. :-) Anyway, thank again for all your tips! I have been trying out your TraderJoe frozen meals tips. It's too bad so many companies have not got on the air fryer bandwagaon, and started put air fryers times on the food. But you are right about the times and temps - experiment and keep an eye on the cooking process - it's amazing at times how fast food cooks up. Oh, put me down as another Cosori fan - love mine ♥ .

Lots of great tips. I use the Dawn spray for large pots at family gatherings. Cleanup pots as you go or quickly after meal. Love the reminder to clean it inside regularly . I will check out your newest oil sprayer recommendation. I had the other two sprayers and had similar results. Keep up the great work for us single people who love air fryers
You are a total legend, which is quite a thing as I've only known u and Ur videos for 24 hours❤️ Wish I could find a playlist of your specifically about cleaning airfryers - I've a Instapot with Airfryer Lid + basket, and suspect that baking soda and vinegar may be the way to clean the insides - but am not sure. IS there a specifically cleaning playlist of yours I've missed ???

Hi Cathy, I have looked everywhere to find just about a few like you have of the Ferrite Magnets, Where did you get your few? I have checked Walmart, Hobby stores, Amazon, Homedepo hardware store. And the link you gave us is a lot of magnets.
I'm getting air fryer for Christmas. I put it on my list cause food in my town the restaurants are lousy. Since the pandemic I've been cooking ALOT. Then I realized my cooking is better them most restaurants in my town. They don't know how to cook... Chicken wings are greasy.. over cooked. Food is just sub- par. They just drop everything in a fryer. No real cooking skills required. Only a couple of restaurants actually have a real chef. 😥😭😭 sad... but I'm excited to get my air fryer!

Hi I watched your best and worst air fries and you love cosori, but it's only 5.8qt they have a newer cosori with the double heat element I wonder if you can do a test on that and a Bella 8 qt airfrier. Iam looking for between a 8qt and 10qt air fryer and I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Because I like to listen to your recommendations. Especially with the orders and smells that linger in the foods. I don't have much counter space, and looking for a basket type . Thank you sincerely Renee.🥰❤️👍
It is coming in a few weeks! I will tell you though, the 6.8 quart blaze is just a little bigger as far as the horizontal space goes. It is more deep, so that is why they can market it as 1 quart larger.

I think I have watched almost of your receipts and I love my Cosori. Bought it on your recommendation. But now I seem to have a problem. It cooks on the top but leaves the bottom kind of saggy. Am I doing something wrong or is something happening with the Cosori? Would appreciate your comments. Thank You
Hmm, that doesn't sound right. I would contact Cosori customer support. If your air fryer is still under warranty, they will fix the issue for you! They have a 2 year warranty!
