I went to Italy in the summer last year. It was hot and sticky. I kept it in my purse and boy was I glad. I was able to get it and use it when I saw I was going to need it. It worked so good. Love this product. I used it when I was in Barcelona as well. While it wasn’t hot there on my visit. I for some reason had and issue with my arm rubbing against my shirt. So whipped it out and the issue was gone. You’ll be glad you have it. It works on your feet too.
Lol I figured that out after filming, I think I am used to the trolly strap being wider and also, I never do carry on only, so I am never putting it on my luggage.
Very nice , the black band on the gray backpack is called a trolley strap. You put your luggage handle through it so you don't have to carry it in the airport.
The Body Glide works amazing! I took it to Disney World and I didn't have any rub burns/rashes at all - and we did a ton of walking. I think you'll love it, especially if you do any walking/hiking in Hawaii.
I use the glide on the balls of my feet because I'm really rough on socks. I haven't put any holes in socks in years since I started using it. One thing I will mention though - I used it on the tops of my feet where my flip flop straps were rubbing, and it worked great for that, however I did get sunburned on my feet at the beach right where my flip flop straps would have been even though I lathered on the sunscreen.
I have seen tons of the travel essentials videos and so happy to see you had a few different items that I hadn’t seen before and will be purchasing like the hangers, seat extenders and collapsible bottle! Thank you.
I love those hangers. I have a dozen or so of them and I always bring them. Hotels or people's houses never have enough hangers so I always bring enough to hang whatever I'm bringing. When I start gathering the clothes I'm bringing, I swap the hangers for these in my 'staging area' because I decide on clothes several days before the trip so don't want to pack them yet so they don't wrinkle. Then when I pack, I know I have a hanger for each thing I need to hang up and pack the clothes and the hanger so I always know I have as many as I need, but don't tote extra. Those things are genius. HIGHLY recommend. Used them for years now.
Loved 🥰 all of your gadgets. I’m a gadget person. I already placed an order in your Amazon. I believe I’m going to get of couple of things. Amazing 🤩 video. Loved 🥰 it.
I think some of these are genuinely awesome finds. But it’s clear some of them haven’t even been tested or tried out (like the shoes) so I’m confused why they’re being recommended. 🤷🏻♀️
A few items were new that I recently got, but I do call that out for people. They were still cool and useful finds that I wanted to share. I have had items that I was not impressed with and those get returned and definitely are not included in a video.
Haha hotels always have hangers but never enough! Especially when multiple women are in the same room, that's why I bring the travel hangers on certain trips.
I think it’s so rude to play music out loud from a speaker in a public space. What you think are hits could be awful music to other people and stops them enjoying their time at the pool or beach. That man could’ve had headphones in if he was desperate for music
Well, you have to know your surroundings. We were at a party resort not some quite relaxing resort. So, a DJ was playing similar music not too far away too. This wasn't a place for peace and quiet.
To save space, I use disposable shower caps to cover my shoes. I fit my shoes in between packing cubes. I carry extras in my suitcase because they aren't very sturdy, but for $10 you get 100!
Have subscribed! Like your style. My Lovevook backpack is AMAZING! I have a different setup but similar. It has lasted through many trips and regular use and still looks beautiful! I will be trying the rub stick and getting those hangers for sure! Thank you!
What do you use to pin the bag to the back of the seat? That's a good low budget alternative but since I already have my trusty phone clamp I'll continue to use that. Thanks for the tip though!
I wish the back zipper for the backpack was more blendable with the fabric. It's not quite a hidden pocket with a bold and big zipper like so. I don't carry laptops with me, so that portion of the bag I usually like putting travel documents there: itineraries, maps, train info, etc! and a scarf will always be able to fold nicely and flat...
I'm not sure I'm convinced on packing cubes and particularly when I see the ones that you showed here.. they are so small. What can you fit in that? Kids clothes? Not for a woman size oh 10-12. It just seems like more crap to pack.
Ava - packing cubes make a world of difference. I have the Heys obese and they are excellent. The really large ones great for dresses, pants, tops, etc. It’s like having drawers in your suitcase.
I have a similar personal bag. If you look on the side where you'd put a water bottle, there is a slit to put wet wipes or tissues. So cool!! Look your videos!
Thanks for sharing!! I love the mini perfume bottles, they are awesome! My sponge was fine when I went to Hawaii but I could see how it would not dry out in severe humidity
Just wanted to say I bought the same hanging toiletries bag and it’s fantastic! I was concerned that the light pink would not last, but it still looks great after several trips 😊
my friend as the water shoes and uses them in our swim aerobics class. she loves them and they indeed DO dry quickly. How about reviewing swimsuits? i was very disappointed by miraclesuit. did not hold be at all like the last one i had, i think their quality has gone down. does anyone have suggestions?
Nice! I loved the water shoes when I used them in Hawaii! As for swim suits, these are so difficult to find ones that fit well and are good quality. Being Plus size, I tend to stick with Torrid or Lane Bryant. I have tried other brands and they were terrible.
Great suggestions, I will absolutely be buying that neck fan!!! Just commenting to tell you that your sewing kit is TSA compliant! I had to look up the rules on scissors and needles last time I flew because I wanted to work on a small embroidery project as my on plane activity! I believe the blade part of the scissors just needs to be under 3 inches. And it definitely came in handy on the trip too!
Good to know! I didn't want to chance it trying to go through TSA with it lol. And the neck fan is a MUST! It was such a life saver in Hawaii on hot days!
