Ori is a masterpiece, an amazing game, that's no doubt! For me, it's the best platformer I ever played 🤩

So nice to see so many indie titles. The latest indie platformers I played was “Ayo the clown” and I had a lot of fun with it.

I've played (FEZ, LIMBO, super meat boy, the swapper, rayman legends, cuphead, hollow knight, celeste, both ori games ), and i'm looking for more, those "huntdown" & "mark of the ninja" games look really good,

Dead Cells is No 1 for me the gameplay is unbeatable.

I like steamworld dig 2 because of how you must use different tools for platforming. Are there any other games like this (where the player must switch tools quickly for platforming)?

Its a really shame that Ori 2 didn't come out for the playstation to! Celeste deserves to be in first place. The best platformer game I EVER played!

My best is Rayman legends, Hollow knight, Ori and blind forest, Huntdown,Cuphead

Celeste is my favorite 2d platformer precision game because of its mods and the hardest mod I’ve beaten in Celeste is called “Celestial Madness” it is really difficult and has 15 rooms of torture and it looks really cool! It took 1 hour for me to beat it

If you like metroidvanias, give a shot to Dandara, very nice platform game that you don't walk or run, just JUMP. Weird concept? Give a try and see that its more fluid than sounds!

How is Shadow Complex Remastered not on the list? That's an awesome 2d platformer.

story wise my personal fav is Ori both version and Unravel 1st

I try to press "Play Game", and nothing happens. I was looking for a thing that said install or something, but it only says "|Free | Play Game|" so I clicked on that, but nothing happens. No error appears, no small window or anything. Just nothing. It is infuriating.

I think my takeaway from this is that Dead Cells is massively overrated.

I'm amazed the list is actually decent considering the pure randomness of their other videos.

Been looking for lists like this. I'm not sure why I'm coming in so late to this genre. Recently got Rayman Legends at a low cost and was blown away coming back to these style of games. Right now my favorites of which I've got is Ori and the Blind Forest - Very impressed with the visuals, the progression in unlocking abilities etc, and gameplay. Rayman Legends - I have to say I like this much more than Super Mario, Donkey King country/Tropical Freeze (Yeah I know this is for PC but still) Unruly Heroes - Visuals of course but the gameplay is quite interesting with each character abilities Yokus Island Express - Platform and pinball?!?! Yes please! Love pinball so it works well Ironclasts - Classic Metroid like game Rad Rodgers - Duke em Nukem platformer?! pretty cool Hollow Knight - I thought it was a bit overrated. A little slow but I may not be into the exploring aspect of it. Ori seems similar in that aspect yet the progression to get to there is what I enjoy. I Will look into others like Shovel Knight, Dead Cells, Ori and the Will of the Wisps of course. Wish there was a list of Demos for some of them.

I hope all these games come to mobile one day

Celest is the Best!!! Never played a game like this for decades!!! It has a nice story, clever level design and controls on point!!! You will never get bored and you will never get disappointed by it!!! Give it a shot!!! XD
