These boats are badass but do people just have them to go fast? Are they going someplace - like to a yacht or an island or something? Or fishing? I’m just kind of confused on their purpose.
I dream of living out in Vancouver or Victoria BC and taking family and friends fishing and afternoon cruises on a 45 foot Midnight Express center consol. I'd get my Midnight painted in galactic blue pearl with green highlights.
Terrific video sir 👍: The content was a culmination of the different models. This video also demonstrates the different water conditions whereas all of the boat builder's always video on a calm no wind day. Appreciate the honesty 🙏 👏 🙌 👌 💯.
I’ve always wondered why boats are designed today with the bow pointing downward. It can’t be beauty before function. It looks dangerous and it is dangerous. Boats need broad shoulders to manipulate inlets. Of course an experienced captain helps too.
I agree, tends to be trendy. A case of form over function. Where I live in Australia most of the bar crossings are unmarked and there is always a break to contend with. Hence every boat as a tall prow. A boat can be long and quick but the crest of waves in the break won't care.
Gotta 26' 1953 Chris Craft Continental(lake boat only!) Named "Rebekah Renee". Now I need a Navy blue metallic and silver metallic Midnight Express 43 Open with quad Merc 450R hanging off the stern. "Rebekah Renee II".
Heh, one Mercury Racing 450R costs over $60.000 here in Norway, each. And in this video people are rocking 4-6 of them on a boat you can't even sleep in :) Guess people got a lot of money to burn ;)
Midnight has some upcoming announcements, keep your eyes out! All the high end 59/60 ft center console makers have been talking with the 600 ide in mind - keep in mind the 600's are not 'racing' engines.
