This is great ! A fantastic tropical garden with plants to cope with the UK climate. Thanks for including all the full plant names . Exactly what I need to get my own garden started.
You have some good Asplenium scolopendrium amongst the Athyrium. You show mainly forms of ‘Pictum”. The straight species is very attractive but not often seen, I’ve even lost mine!
Something tells me this is in the uk because most of these are cold tolerant subtropical species or tropical species that can go dormant like the calocasia.
Can't help you with that sorry, I mostly buy seeds from hobbyists or from dutch webshops. I don't know about their shipping terms: www.onszaden.nl & www.shamanicworldseeds.nl are good webshops.
Pink China is very winterhardy. It always comes back. You can grow it in shade but it wont grow that big and fast. Ensete isn't winterhardy, but it's very cheap, will grow very fast and it's easy to overwinter if you can keep it dry and above 0°C during winter. That's why it's in this list, awesome banana! 😉
@@samuelzev4076 I don't know if there are oaks that will survive a hot desert climate... For evergreens: Yuccas, Agave, Dracena, Dasylirion & Xanthorrhoea
@@TropicalGardening I still plant the trachycarpus though, but in a big pot. I really like the fan shaped leaves. The " sparrow" like birds too often came, not to sure for the fruits or what...😃
