Even her sister left her in her house on the hill because she became suspicious of her sister and feared that she may be next. As far as I'm aware, they never spoke again and died within days of each other.
Great List Mike with List 25 I have seen two ghost in my time one of my cat and one of my dog but hope to see a human ghost one day plus I have gotten a few evp in graveyards
Love this list... my parents old house was quite haunted... by a little old lady... a gree horse head... and something very scary. Often the little old lady could be seen on the landing of the staircase going to the second floor... usually seen in a mirror... the green horse head would appear one night a year in one of the bedrooms above a doorway... and the other... more threatening spirit often trudged up and down the attic stairs... up and down the basement stairs... and slammed doors in the basement. Also coincidently before my parent bought the house the former owners had their car blow up in the garage... this was evident by the alligator charring on the walls... after my parents sold the house... the next owners had their car blow up in the garage... this time it leveled the garage and melted the siding of the house next door... seems a tad suspicious if you ask me... my guess is that the spirits of the house did not like them.
The Cecil hotel in Los Angeles is also known for ghostly apparitions, however they changed the name to Stay on main to try to get away from their past. This was a great list.
The house I lived in during Junior High school was said to be part of an old Civil War (?) Military Barracks, and I saw what looked like a nurse from that time period in the hall way.
We chased phantom sounds around Old Fort Erie about 20 years ago, we were there drinking and messing around when we heard 2 men talking so we went towards the voices, no one there, then the voices would come from a different area so we'd go there and again no one, we did this for probably close to an hour before we realized something was weird and left, I've never been back there at night.
I lived in an apartment with "History" I told him that I was living there now and i would take care of the apartment as much as he would. I told a friend about him. He said that he was standing right behind me. Almost as if he was guarding my bedroom door. Kinda crazy but I believed it.
There's a theatre in Vancouver Canada that has a ghost who quietly moves around the theater when it's almost empty. Many people have felt his presence.
Yeah, she was a novice architect and worked on it because it relieved the pain from her arthritis. Some guys who were trying to make it an attraction said the family was haunted by the ghosts of those killed by Winchesters and Sarah was told to keep building it to keep the family safe from revenge or some such.
1:48 The way I heard it was Winchester went to a psychic, and the psychic told her that she WOULD be haunted by all the ghosts of everyone killed by a Winchester rifle when her house was complete. And that’s why she kept building incessantly. I hadn’t heard anything about the house itself, being haunted, but I know she was terrified of that prospect.
I think it's one thing to encounter a spirit, but to encounter one that is famous, such as a centuries old historical fiqure, would be even more amazing. My aunt's old house where she lived for over a decade, was said to be haunted. Several there claimed to have seen apparitions. (A cousin mentioning about a ghostly cat appearing with a bandange wrapped around it's tail, My aunt mentioning how she was simply doing the dishes and when she turned, there was this maybe 18th or 19th century woman standing there, staring up at her.) There were other ghostly stories as well, apparently, but those two I specifically remember since they spoke about them on more than one occasion. I've never witnessed any paranormal activity myself while there, or anywhere else for that matter. I've always wanted to though, even though I'm sure I'd be completely paralyzed with terror. 😂
I lived just three miles from the Winchester mystery house for 35 years. I never visited the place. There was a really good theater complex and a high-end trailer park next door
We have had instances where are air fryer has turned on by itself, the DVD player turned on by itself. And we also have an electric garbage pail in the bathroom, where it started opening and closing by itself.
When Wolf Manor in Clovis CA was still there, I saw and heard a man's voice (the same one Ghost Hunters heard say "I like the one in the hat") ask me what was wrong as I was going through a tour of it on Halloween in 2003.
Lizzie Borden was AQUITTED. After decades of watching crime shows, I no longer think she did it. I think it was a serial killer who waltzed into the house and killed the sleeping father and the step mom up stairs.
How about Madam la Laurie and those poor slaves she'd tortured? Think the building she'd lived in was torn down after it burned, but there could be people who claim to have encountered any of their spirits in the location where the house was...
I've heard and felt a lot of ghosts, but I don't usually see them. I do occasionally, but it's very rare. The strangest, I guess would be walking into the bathroom and glancing in the mirror to see a naked man in the shower. Now, I know this sounds like a normal thing, except I live with my mother and young son. This person was an old, large, naked man. I also immediately looked into the shower and found it completely empty. But he looked like he was a flesh and blood man.
I've feel the cold spots of spirits at a few places in my life, and even their presence in a room for the dead at a Korean church. I've also seen some hazy auras around the statues of religious figures.
The Winchester house needs to be taken off of these lists as it was a hoax performed by the people who bought it after the Winchester woman died. She was an architect and after a big fire that destroyed a lot of the mansion, the brothers that bought it made it look like she was crazy building all this stuff when she was just a genius designer. Look it up.
ghost hunting as existed since we first learned to record any form of media. it's just fun bullshit like astrology as long as you don't take it seriously.
it is an interesting thing. Are they the ones with unfiinished business, or is that the next life. It does make me wonder you know. I know that my house is haunted for various reasons and most of it is from deceased relatives, so I know it is fine. They just love to play games sometimes when something random happens for no reason. Like the tv go on by itself, weird smells, cold spots, random creaks, random voices, baking smell, perfume smell, transparent figures, ghostly arm in mirror, orbs,
See, I don't want to have jump out of a window or off a balcony to escape any kind of lost spirit or ghost. Hense the reason I only visit these places virtually 😐P.S. Impressive on the pronunciation of these places, Mike
I’ve seent satan’s leftie’s and List 25 is among the lasts places I would ever entertain the idea of sharing that kind of experience. If you know you know. If you don’t, ignorance is bliss…
If ghosts of people and dogs and sometimes cats are real why are there no dinosaur ghosts of any that died, or mosquito/fly ghosts? Do you know how many die daily? We would be overrun with insect ghosts
Stayed at the Lizzie Borden house they did a really cool Christmas with krampus event stayed over in the andrew and Abby suite and if all spirits were as kind as the one who flicked the lights and pulled up the bedding while i was in it ghost hunting would be passe and youd stay in places to be pampered the lights could be faked the bedding moving not so much pretty sure lizzie isnt there "mrs borden" was though
So the Legend of Sarah Winchester is a whole lot of nonsense and I don't think she even died in the house. She was just a rich board widow essentially playing legos with a really house until an earthquake hit and she lost interest. As to Cleo she never existed as the owners wife, son and one of his daughter's died of Yellow fever at different times. The other daughter grew up and got married after she and her father sold the plantation. I do love ghost stories though I love the history behind them more.
I wondered why he'd perpetuate that type of nonsense but found out he's also religious. I guess if u believe a half man half god can rise from the dead to attone for rules he made but can't circumvent then this silly explanation would be top tier. Religion means not having to say idk.
