Have you heard of Urban legends that are actually true? Believe it or not, they exist! Urban legends spread like wildfire because they are simultaneously believable and frightening. The trouble is, most of them aren’t true, but it’s still difficult to determine between urban legend fact and fiction. Just in time to creep you out for Halloween, we’ve compiled a list of true urban legends which will have you shaking in your boots. (Does anyone even use that line anymore?) From a tug-of-war match which will literally cost you an arm (keep the leg) to an ex-boyfriend living in a woman’s attic to waking up in an ice bath without a kidney, these 25 items are creepy occurrences we’d never want to happen to us (or you for that matter). Chi Chi Rodriguez Because nobody can come up with a strait answer for how she died. Nothing came up durring the toxoclogy report, we can see on the cctv footage that she wasn't with anyone and just vanishes after leaving the elevator and on top of that how did she get in to a locked watter tank if ther wheren't any staff of the hotell involved in her death?

#7 is legit. The man became known to locals as "Charlie No Face" and resorted to taking walks along nearby roads at night time to avoid being harassed by people. Over the years he became a huge legend in Pittsburgh as teenagers started to believe he was some kind of ghost/creature and would take late night car trips searching for him. Supposedly he was harassed by many people due to his facial injuries. Some people would bring booze or cigarettes to him and try to talk to him. From what they said he was a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. During the day he would spend his time on his front porch making wallets and other accessories for people. He ended up dying peacefully in the 80s. Sad story.

Thanks for supplementing this story! The video really annoyed me because they'd just go over the bare minimum of the story, and not offer any other interesting details to finish it off. Yeah, I HATE people who taunt and harass people with injuries and disabilities. Who the hell does that, right??

Crystalline Entity - To answer your question, lots of people do that... Usually teenage boys that haven't let their brains develop enough to know how to act properly in public and to keep their mouths shut, or people with low levels of self-esteem who feel better about themselves when they can put someone else down for something they have no control over. Then, of course, there are those outliers who don't care about how they treat others or how their treatment affects others. They are born without empathy, and worse yet, without a filter between their pea-sized brain and their over-sized mouth (or the keyboard, whichever the case may be.) Hmm, in thinking about it, I am not so sure they are as much a group of 'outliers' on the internet. They seem to have found their new clubhouse in comment sections online. Welcome to the new world.

I think he died in 1984 the young boy was electrocuted and lost his face went blind and lost his hands after falling into a electric cable wire in 1950s. I think he died aged in his 80s in mid 80s shame such a shame. They did something about him on other you tube channels he was severely disfigured bless him I hope he is at peace now and that no one can call him names or harrass him no more it doesnt matter what disability you have you should be able to walk the streets without being harrassed and name called.

For anyone curious about #12 the lady's name is Gloria Ramirez also know as "the toxic lady". Scientists have come up with several reasons for the staff around her passing out. They have an episode of Forensic Files I'd recommend with her case in it.

You can't just turn DSMO into dimethyl sulphate. You need to turn it into dimerhyl oxygen, it needs to combine with sulfate, which is rarely found in bodies.

I heard of a similar story in my neighborhood regarding Number 24. It was two people who tried robbing a house by going through the chimney. When the first person became stuck, the second one jumped in, only to become stuck too.

Yes but at that voltage a miniscule amount of amperage is deadly. Anything over 40 volts should be treated as potentially lethal.

+Clint Bandura I think there was an episode of something like this on some doctor related TV series. In that show, they explained it as some kind of reaction between prescribed medication and the herbal stuff she was taking. Her body was partly immune to the chemical mix but people trying to treat her would pass out. It sounds like nothing more than a fictional drama, personally, but mixing chemicals can have some crazy side effects.

Add one more to the accidental needle stab and contacting H.I.V. from it. My parents knew a guy who was a janitor at either a dentist or a doctors office, in not clear on that any more. But he was collecting trash and got poked by an infected needle. This was back in the early 80's when we were just hearing about Aids. He died because of complications caused by the H.I.V. infected needle.

The urban legend was that there were rashes of needle attacks sweeping , wherein someone would jump you in a parking lot, jab you with something, and whisper "welcome to AIDS" before running off. These rashes of random attacks never happened, but this isolated Australian case did. Unfortunately, while extremely rare, there have been other cases of infection by accidental needle stick.

nah it was me i had heart attack and was left down there at the bottom of the pool for 2days then i was taken to a morgue where i awoke and started bashing the walls of the locker i was in then i heard them describing me as an old lady and i was like fuck that and i played dead and to only wake up again buried and duck taped i used my ring to cut the tape dig my way out and then wrote letter to mike about my story and he decided to separate my story because the channel is list25 and not list23

Another creepy legend that is true (although most sites that list this story say it's just a legend): in 2008, at an anime convention in Austin, Texas, a guy decided he had enough of cosplayers smelling bad (some cosplayers do not bathe the whole weekend) and he wanted it to stop once and for all. Dressing in camouflage and armed with two cans of cheap air freshener, he went around spraying cosplayers with this air freshener.... that is, until his third victim ducked and he sprayed her in the face with this stuff and she got it in her eyes. She had to be taken to the hospital and the spraying caused a panic that sent people running.

I don't know if this is real but search "It's a small world Creepypasta" Here's the full story retelling: I was a small kid when this happened to me. We were at the ride, until alarms started flashing and saying "Thank you for visiting, we hope you had a happy ride" and "Please get out through the exit. Thank you" Ambulances and police were outside. I didn't know what it was for, until my Mom snapped pictures of the roof. The last one haunted me from that day onwards. It was a kid, hanging from the ceiling, who looked like a doll.

6:53 volts don't kill, amps do. If something has 70,000 volts but 2 amps you can touch it and get quite a shock but no death. If something has 10 volts and 100 amps it'll kill you
