Instead of a can of OFF, I take bug spray in the wipe form. They are individually wrapped and easy to carry.

I take a cloth fold-up shoe organizer that hangs in the closet. I use it for day clothes organizer. I put my shorts, tops, undies in the cubbies. There's still space for hanging up long evening clothes.

I carry a portable carbon monoxide detector whenever I travel. Purchased one from Home Depot. Heard too many horror stories of vacationers succumbing to CM poisoning in their suits, rooms, etc. Whenever I travel, especially oversees, it's in the room with me. Always carry extra batteries.

You can bring flat iron to press clothes too, use face towel to protect clothes.

@@lorimckellar2787 Yes, no irons but I iron before packing and use the wrinkle release spray and it works good enough.😊

Great suggestions. Few of my own. Id suggest a motion sensor magnetic light. Used it on our Disney Cruise and it was awesome! Also, Magnetic dry erase board vs the sticky notes. Its fun putting it on your door and receiving little notes throughout the day. Saves you all the paper too!

I have been on a few cruises before but it’s been several years so I’m watching videos to brush up on the tips and trips. I have been binge watching cruise RU-vid videos and I must say your video is by far the best. So detailed and so just straight to the point. Love it!

While cruise walls are magnetic, they are also covered, the covering seems to take 15-25 lbs off the magnetic hold of any magnet you use depending on the ship and the wall.

We always keep bathroom light on in hotels and in cruise cabin and leave door cracked..last few cruises i had a night light plugged

We do check but have never found any. If I did find them, I would definitely not try to get rid of them. I would recommend not staying in that room and notifying the staff.

We had several bottles of wrinkle release and it didn’t work on any of our formal night clothes.

Oh no! 😟 It always works for us. We spray while on the hanger and pull. Most of the big wrinkles fall out.

If the hooks are rated 28 pounds it means if they're hung vertically from the ceiling 😊

Yes you can. But it’s kind of inconvenient trying to maneuver it through the lines at check in and then dragging it around until they let you in the room. I have seen people do it, though.

Norwegian have irons at request and you can use them in your room up to two hours.

Definitely great information for me. Going on my 1st cruise in 10-2024. I’m concerned about traveling with disinfectant spray on a plane……not sure if TSA will approve it.
