@@lottanerve1777 no not illegal unethical, however. but since it's on other places on the internet, it MUST be true right. always remember correlation is not causation
A lot of the segments in this video have been done before some on this very channel but it's nice to find them all together in a concise and not too scary manner .
My hometown is where the serial killer BTK (acronym for Bind, Torture, Kill) aka Dennis Rader did his spree. He was eventually caught after sending cryptic letters to the media that were traced to a computer he used at his church.
I live in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where the pastor from my church went to seminary with the pastor of the church where Dennis Rayder was the president of the board. My pastor said he had lunch with the other pastor shortly after BTK was arrested. When questioned, the other pastor said that Dennis Rayder was a strange duck, but no one, not even his own wife and children, had a clue.
I live right outside Atlanta... I’m sorta numb to disturbing creepy true stories. They are a daily occurrence around here! But if I had to pick something close by, about a mile and a half from my house, a high school senior was shot and killed by his stepdad. The parents were separated and the mom had her brother staying with them. The stepdad came over in the middle of the night to kill the entire family, mom, uncle, three kids, but the uncle and the boy tried to save everyone else and were both shot, killing the senior one week before graduation. He had a full football scholarship to University of Tennessee and was an honor student. The stepdad was on the run for several days. It was a real tragedy!
C'mon dude!.... the skeleton hand with the ring found in the attic with gold coins isn't creepy, it's freaking awesome! For all we know it could be the hand of one eyed willie from the Goonies or something.....you need to remove that one and add to 25 coolest things found 👍
The tragic death of Tim Mclean the killer Will Baker is also known as Vince Li. Li spent time in a mental hospital and was eventually released and now lives as a free man.
There was a little boy in a town near where i'm from that went missing. they later found his body in the chimney of a vacant house. turns out his family was abusive and would lock him out of the house. he crawled in the chimney to get out of the cold but he got stuck.
When I was a teenager I would sneak out at night to go hang out with a girl in the neighborhood. I would usually come over and sneak in through her window. One night I got a call from her asking if I was outside her window because she thought she heard something. I mentioned that I was on the phone with her and she would be able to hear me if I was. She asked if I would come check to see if someone was and I told her heck no! I asked what would happen if there was and I found them lol. I told her to go tell her mom which I guess she never did. The next morning she found a chair against the side of her house next to the window.
The guy who killed Tim McLean in the Greyhound bus is named Vince Li. Who is Will Baker? Edit: I double checked my thing, Will Baker is Vince Li's new name. Nevermind ;)
Creepiest story from my hometown is this: A 12 year old girl and her 23 year old "boyfriend" who believed he was a werewolf, murdered her parents and 8 year old brother. The murder was discovered by one of her little brother's friends seeing a body through the window when be came over to play the next day.
The case at number 19 has been solved. 3 of the victims, (the woman and 2 of the 3 kids) were identified. They were last seen in November 1978 in California
The creepiest story I know from my hometown includes a friend of mine....he was in love with a girl but she just wanted to be friends with him. He was always a kind, nice young man. Never was drunk and never doing drugs. One day he beheaded her with an machete, laid her corps in the bathtub, set the house on fire, took the head in a bag and drove away. He drove like a maniac and drove with his old Ford into a truck. He died and the policeman found the bag with the head....true story which was in the news across germany
The man who killed Tim Mclean is named Vincent Li. I don't know where you got Will Baker. Li never went to prison, but a mental hospital, and is now free to roam, keeping his homicidal impulses in check with drugs. This is very disturbing.
It just reinforces that it's important to know your surroundings and never trust a stranger, I'm sure this could easily be turned into 25,000 disturbing creepy but true stories with very little investigation.
@@lottanerve1777 I'm a year late, but your comment still makes me wheeze, I hope you've come to your senses and have fallen out of your dumb vaccine conspiracies LOL-
I need more lists with you and Tristan. The banter between you guys is absolutely hilarious!! I would like to know why Tristan walks off so much on the lists with you both? Just curious..🤔
@Dave White he is. No probation, no monitoring of any kind, nothing... He was enjoying unsupervised day passes in under 3 years too. Canadian legal system is broken beyond repair and has been for a very long time. Karla Holmolka is supervising other peoples children in the Montreal public school system under her new identity now too, and if a vigilante were to take her out ( as she should be ) they would do far more time than she did and she is a fucking monster!!
How about the Hanover Vampire? (Aka the Butcher of Hanover and the Wolf Man; this guy was... unique among serial killers). Even before he actually killed anyone, Friedrich Heinrich Karl "Fritz" Haarmann was a pervert who had been arrested for several sexual-related crimes, ruled "incurably deranged", and committed to an asylum in Hildesheim. Thing is, he escaped, fled to Switzerland, and returned to Hanover years later in 1899. He would serve in the German army, and later open a butcher shop in 1919. While the police knew he was a burglar and petty crook, they went easy on him because he was also an informant. Until they found out he was a murderer, that is. Between 1918 and 1924, Haarmann is known to have committed at least 24 murders of young homeless or transient boys, whom he lured to his shop and killed using his teeth. Seriously, by his own accounts at his trial, he held them down and bit them in the neck. The youngest known victim was 10 years old, the oldest 18. He sodomized several victims, and cannibalized some of them by grinding parts of them into sausages, which he admitted selling to customers. He had an accomplice, by the way, a homosexual man named Hans Grans whom Haarmann claimed was "like a son to him" but was also his lover. Hans was, to be blunt, complete scum, and robbed Haarmann's victims simply to fence their belongings or keep them as creepy souvenirs. Creepiest part is, when he was finally caught, he didn't deny any of it, and claimed he did it simply for the thrill of killing. He even insisted, repeatedly, that he was sane. He was eventually sentenced to death and executed (by beheading, an odd method in 1925 Germany) and Grans was sentenced to 12 years in prison, although many would say his true punishment came during WWII; Nazis, as you know, hated gays, and he was eventually interred in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
The infamous "Susan Smith" case, where she drowned her two young sons in her car - and blamed it on a car thief - happened in my hometown of Spartanburg, SC in the 90s. Another, more recent, scary thing that happened there was the kidnapping of Kala Brown by serial killer, Todd Kohlhepp.
I live in Winnipeg. Vince Li was his name before he changed it to Will Baker... He didn't serve a lot of time and was released without supervision early due to good behavior and I guess his check ups were good. People were saying he was possessed by a Wendigo (evil spirit from native american culture, Im native.) That shit still scares me to this day, I don't like sitting in a bus with someone right behind me, I get anxiety lol
I'm from Saint Louis, Missouri. Back in 1993, there was a murder of a man in our city's, St Louis, Lambert international airport. My uncle was the man who was murdered and it is the only murder that ever happened in our airport since its founding.
December 25th, 1999, my family came up from the south with my grandmother on my mother's side coming from the west. As always, we went to my other grandmother's house. Normally, we would gather in her living room while she talked with everyone. This time, she met with everyone one-by-one in the kitchen. While she was doing that, I saw this mist/ cloud in the space between the living room and dining room. I tried blowing at it to get it to move but there was no effect so I left it alone thinking it was just my glasses. Then, in the mirror in the living room, I saw my great grandmother, and grand uncles that had died sitting on her stairs. They only appeared in the mirror. I asked, somewhat in my head, what they were doing here. My uncle came up to me and said that they wouldn't be here long. It was my turn to talk to my grandmother. I told her that she had to leave her house because I had horrible feelings from this house. Her reaction wasn't one of creepiness or horror, it was one of surprise. She told me she'd be leaving soon and made me promise to help her move, and I promised. When we left to go back to my mom's house st 10pm, I told my dad I had to talk to him. I told him that grandma was in danger and that I didn't think that she took it seriously. He said why I thought that and I told him everything I saw. He asked what made me so sure. While he talking I saw a man, in all black, walk past the car in the direction of my grandmother's house. This walk would've took about 2 hours. My father didn't believe me. I went back upstairs to my room and played my gameboy color because I was angry that no one believed me. Just before midnight, my father, stepmother, and mother bolted out the house after a phone call. I talked to my grandmother on my mother's side about what I saw. She simply told me that sometimes we're given hints because we need them and death isn't always scary because everyone must die but we have to live life without regrets. About 2 hours after that, my parents came back and came to my room first. My father just said, "well...she's gone." I didn't even look up from my gameboy. I just cried and they left me and told my brothers and sisters all at once. It was one of the scariest times in my life and it kicked off nearly 12 years of family dying on Christmas day. My mother has that mirror in her livingroom now. I don't like going to her house. I am willing to be contacted for proof of this.
I've no idea who 'Will Baker' is, but the man who killed Tim McLean was Vincent Weiguang Li (simplified Chinese: 李伟光; traditional Chinese: 李偉光; pinyin: Lǐ Wěiguāng, commonly just called Vince Li.
Your Staff Mike does a wonderful job reporting on all creepy and monster stories. Your reports on disappearances are very interesting. I appreciate David Poloties stories about children seeing things in the woods. Thank You
My home town has many, many mess up stories. I guess the one I'd go with would be the time a guy hung himself from a tree in his front yard and timed it to coincide with children being dropped off from school. These children had to see that mans dead body hanging from the tree, bleeding because he struggled and cut himself some how. They were definitely traumatized.
#24 - I could have lived my entire life without knowing that! How horrible! I hope it doesn't give me nightmares... I agree with you 100% on #20! What year did #18 occur?
The creepiest story from the town where I live is the Phantom Killer from the 1940s. The creepiest I can think of from my hometown is a murder and suicide across the street from my house. No one would stay in the house long after the remodel because the blood somehow kept reappearing on the ceiling. If I remember correctly, Ira Einhorn's girlfriend broke up with him after enduring years of abuse.
#1 they need to make a law that makes it illegal for school bus driver's to stop "for any reason" other than red light's and drop off's (with the threat of imprisonment for child endangerment).🚃
Watch the channel,My Haunted Diary with James Garcia a paranormal investigator, who did a piece on the Cecil Hotel! Alot of EVP'S and Poltergeist activity caught on Camera! This guy is LEGIT!!
It's not in my county, but I don't live far from where HH Holmes built and operated the murder hotel in chicago. It's now the spot of a post office two blocks west of the Dan Ryan Freeway (I-94)
I know I know think you witchcraft is crap. But here were am from it's real. A MAN HAD GOATS SOMEONE KEPT STEALING HIS GOATS SO ONE DAY IMMEDIATELY HE TOUCHED A GOAT HE TURNED THE ANOTHER PERSON WENT TO STEAL FROM THE SAME HEARD UNFORTUNATELY HE STOLE THE GOAT THAT THE GUY TURNED INTO. THEN WHEN THEY KILLED THE GOAT SUDDENLY BEFORE THERE EYES IT TURNED INTO A PERSON DEAD. this is a true story
Born and raised in Sonoma CA it was my last year in middle school, 1989 when Ramón Salcido killed his Boss and 6 family members. Thank God 1 of his daughters survived. He is currently locked-up in San Quentin.
Todd Kholepp in Greenville, South Carolina. He kidnapped and killed 7 women, I think. He would “store” the women in a metal storage container, and when he got bored of them, they were murdered. Saw his capture in 2016 live on Facebook.
Apparently 600 dogs have jumped off Overtoun bridge 50 have died but some of the crazy pooches who survived were seemingly more than happy to try the leap again .
I had a really, really scary experience whilst out driving in one night. I'd just come to a small village and stopped at a stop sign when all of a sudden a black Audi also pulled up directly opposite to me, then to my horror !!!!!!! he indicated left and then actually turned left !!!!!!!!! 😂😅🤣😳😳
Unbelievably u mentioned the pig farmer from Canada. He was from B.C. and his name is Robert Picton. A piece of shit, u just called him pig farmer without telling every1 what his name is. Love u guys. Thanks 4 being and doing u. Love sent from the great white north turning in2 the mosquito heaven.
Heya. I have one right from my home town. Kingston Ontario Canada. Place. Skeleton park. Used to be a cemetary looong time ago during when British had colonies here. Good history on the park. Not far from me. Like 10 min walk. Supposed to be very active with spirits and ppl who live around the park have experienced a lot of things happening over the yrs. Tue park is actually called McBurney park. But we all call it Skeleton park sue to it being a cemetary at one point. If history is correct. There are still some bodies and head stones buried under the park grounds. Sry. I realize this is older. Bit was very interested in this one. The home city of Sir Jobn A McDonald. First prime minister of Canada. And his history is not very nice. Specially whe. It has to do with i rigorous and others in his history so we’re trynna erase him from our history books sorta speak.
I’m just 20 minutes from Humboldt. The county of Murder Mountain. And that’s besides the fact that there’s been two massacres in my tiny town. Yup very peaceful here.
I dealt with a creepy guy on a Greyhound from Utah to Texas in 2016 with my oldest child. At the Amarillo station just as everyone got settled in and the bus was about to pull away from the curb a guy woke up screaming “there are snakes” on me and hitting himself and the passengers around him to escape. The driver had just enough time to stop the bus and let everyone off. They had to call the paramedics and police to come get him. I don’t know what he was on but he was creepy af and myself and the other passengers had just heard about that other guy killing the other passenger that you just mentioned. So we literally ran off the bus as fast as we could. I had a baby in Texas later so on the trip on Greyhound to North Carolina with my 2 kids this last February the only problem was lost luggage and bus problems but that trip from Utah to Texas was scary.
Ira Einhorn killed Holly BECAUSE she broke up with him. He was controlling and abusive, though the motive is more theory than fact. He denies he killed her to this day, despite the remains being found in his apartment.
At the Red Robin in Canton OH someone found a finger in their salad that was cut off while cutting up the lettuce in the early 2000's. If you visit The Football Hall of Fame in Canton stay away from Red Robin. Yummmmmmm.
I live in a tiny town with a population of 2,500. The only murder in the last 100 years was in 1968. An 8 year old girl didn't come home after school, even though she lived only a few houses down from the school. She was reported missing. Later that day, her naked body was found under a matress in the creek bed behind her house. Her skull had been crushed with a rock. The killer was a 14 year old boy who was a friend of the family. He was sent to a psychiatric hospital.
In Omaha Nebraska, there was a woman who killed her son, I think he was about 11, she put him in the bathtub and buried him in kitty litter, they found the body after complaints from the neighbors of a bad odor, news footage showed a window of the house crawling with 100s of lies. It was very morbid and sad. The photo of her that they showed on the news, she looked absolutely crazy.
You asked for a creepy story from my hometown. I am from Bettendorf, Iowa and I was in high school when this happened. There is a prominent murder case there involving a local chiropractor, James Klindt, who murdered his wife, Joyce Klindt, and cut her up with a chainsaw, then disposed of her body in the Mississippi River. Fishermen discovered her torso floating in the river a month after her disappearance. Her other body parts were never recovered. He was arrested and convicted of Second Degree Murder. He was sentenced to 50 years. Discovery Channel series "New Detectives" explores this case in the episode, "Written in Bone."
MY hometown? Two boys took a girl to the galloping goose trail to drug and rape her then they set her corpse on fire. I smelled it and wondered what was burning. Micheal Dunnahee was a little boy playing in a schoolyard when he was abducted in front of a hundred other people and nobody saw it. I worked a block away and was walking past the school to work when it happened. Lindsey Busiak a young real estate agent was lured to a house for a viewing and the police think she was the vicitm of a contract killing- you'll be seeing that on Dr Phil. The book Michelle Remembers took place in a house 7 blocks from where I am right now and the Shawnigan Lake location mentioned was my next door neighbor's house when I live up there. The events were 50 yrs past by then but still. Victoria BC
Hope no one's asked this already (I did try to read all the comments but...) Re the appearing garden gnomes, has the lady not got CCTV? I would after it started to get really weird!
In 2006 a family in my home town were all murdered except for a little girl who played died. The guy stayed in the house for hours and even made himself breakfast. When he left the girl called 911. They would have never caught him except he was arrested for another crime in another state and in the interview he said "Oh, I thought y'all wanted to talk about the family in Texas."
In Council Bluffs Iowa, there was a not very clean grocery store, I closed over 5 years ago, last summer, workers were pulling out freezers and found the body of an employee who had disappeared a few years before the store closed, they think he had fallen back there and no one found him even though there were many complaints of a bad odor.
#12 my parent had to put our cat to sleep. I drove around with passed away cat in the truck of the car for 2 weeks. Didn't know he was there. They told me the ground was to hard to bury him. 🥺😡🥺😡
I live in Kiel, Germany and some years back there was were multiple black plastic bags found in a river in the city with severed body parts inside. I'm not sure if that was just a rumor or if that actually happened but yeah, that is that. But at the 7th of December 2016 there was a man who poured gasoline over his wife on the street and lit her on fire. Almost 90% of her body was burned and she died. That incident shocked the whole town and, fairly, the whole country and it made headlines everywhere in Germany for some time. She was a mother of two and her husband had mental problems which is why he was sentenced to go into a psychiatry by court.
#list 25 my baby sister. My dad got a call when I was17 that they found my baby sisters suitcase in a hotel outside of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada with my dad's address and phone number. My dad told them to call my big half brother pedophile which he did not know and gave his phone number. We have never heard from her since.
In 2009 I lived next to a single mother and her three children. 18 year old female 16 year old female and a 14 year old male. One day while walking out of the shower the 18 yr old saw a male intruder in the upstairs hallway and immediately begun running down stairs and out the front door. After police arrived they found one of their cups along with a spoon, fork, and some of their older bedding. It looked like he cleaned up after himself as there was no trash. They had noticed a few things missing but thought one of the other members of the household had lost, broken, used, donated, or discarded the item. They never caught the guy that ran out the front door. And they never found out how long he had been there hiding, maybe watching. Or perhaps just trying to get by. Being feb in south tx the police told them he must could have moved in sometime in the last three to four months. Since he woulsnt have survived the warmer months. Absolutely crazy.
My former buddy went dangerously crazy and after spending a few months in a strait jacket ended up living in some kind of rehabilitation house with the decapitating cannibal dude who if I'm not mistaken is now living in the area partially unsupervised.
