Acetaminophen, IN ADDITION TO being bad for our liver in high doses, has been shown to cause apathy, a dulling of our emotions, when taken in doses of 1,100 mg or more per day. Loretabs contain either 500 mg of acetaminophen per pill or Norcos have a little less at 325 mg. I used to be prescribed 6 loretabs per day at the pain clinic. I have journaling that literally says "why am I so apathetic?" The study was done at the University of Ohio and published in the medical journal of science in April 2015.

Psilocybin is not addictive at all. Its possible to go years, decades between trips without the cravings of a real addictive drug, like nicotine or alcohol.

I took some of that in 1969. The entire world looked like a cartoon. I saw a tree full of colors and Mickey Mouse came out of the trunk, followed by Donald Duck and they walked on a limb, went back and went back into the trunk. I felt like there was just a small thread keeping my brain and body in place. I looked at a photo of the ocean and felt like I was on the beach, feeling the ocean breeze, the sand under my feet and the sound of the ocean. Pretty wild stuff

I took it once and ended up taking it every single day for 3 weeks stopped sleeping for 5 days just kept tripping so uh yeah I understand it’s natural but saying it’s not addicting makes you sound stupid anything that gets you high is addictive 😂😂 why do you smoke weed ? Because you like to get high and are physically attracted to that feeling of being high therefore addiction no matter what drug you use it’s addicting stop being dumb

Acetaminophen is ALSO an NSAID. They are BOTH Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. That's what NSAID means.

I know you're probably like, "Lol I'm joking it's not really a drug" but... it kind of is. Along with social media. It makes your dopamine levels, which is your feel good chemical, spike, and we like that feeling, obviously, so that's why we do things that make that happen. Also, you can be addicted to social media. So yeah, yt and social media could technically be classified as drugs, I'm pretty sure.

I’ve been struggling with heroin addiction for 20 years now. Longest I’ve been clean was 2.5 years, which was also my latest clean time. I’ve relapsed a year and 3 months ago… this time I have absolutely no energy to fight this; I’m dying every time I shoot. I’m rotting and disintegrating. I have no ambition, determination or motivation.. I feel defeated, insignificant and absolutely worthless. Yay life.

Sorry to hear this man. If you haven't tried Suboxone before, give it a try. If you have had it before, try again. There is also Brixadi, which is either a weekly or monthly injection. The injection itself is nearly painless. I work with doctors who prescribe both. With a good doctor, some counseling, and other supports, you can get away from H and get your life back. I'm rooting for you and know that things can be better for you.

I replaced my heroin addiction with methadone, and it gave me back my life. It doesn't get me high, and blocks me from using any opiates, and has made me a functioning member of society. I also gave up crack cocaine and benzos. I can be weaned off of it at any time, but choose to stay on it as it really lessens my chronic back pain.

But it's not the desomorphine giving those terrible effects, although it is a rather strong opiate, it's the residual chemicals from the production that causes tissue damage. it's not much used in Western countries, because codeine is not really easy to get (for production)...

@@soldaatjhu And it causes the skin to dry extremely dangerously- like a drying lakebed in the desert- getting cracked skin presenting with almost mosaic tile shaped lesions in the skin . This ultra dessicated area of flesh forms patterns of ruined flesh appearing like alligator shoes or belt, but formed from a persons body. Eventually this flesh falls away and an oozing ulcerous mess replaces it.

Most every drug, natural or otherwise, has some negative side effects. That's just life I suppose, but if you're careful with some of these, like blood pressure meds, they can save lives. Knowing these side effects can lead to better choices in my opinion.

Sorry about your dad’s dianosis. Hope they caught it in an earlier stage. He needs a good oncologist or well-rated cancer treatment center. I’ll be praying for him and for your family. Try to keep a positive attitude - your dad needs support. (I’m a retired RN with oncology experience. I’m praying because it really does help. I’ve seen miracles.)

So I take losartan and venlafaxine. Zoloft turned me into a big pile of apathy. Prozac never worked for me. It triggered muscle spasms in someone I know.

Zoloft did the same to me. I didn’t even realize that I didn’t care about anything until I came off of it. Now I take Venlafaxine, and I guess I need to look into that one. I currently take or have taken several of these. That’s pretty crazy! Also surprised that benzodiazepines were not in this list.

Buprenorphine is also used as an opioid alternative for pain. My doctor tried putting me on that as an alternative for the Norco that I take and we found out that I have an adverse reaction to it so I was taken off the immediately and was put back on the Norco

@@caesar349 like ayahuasca, datura consumed respectfully and sparingly will rock your world! It is vital for one to possess a strong mind and constitution to prevent getting lost for years if the dosage is off significantly and effects become immediate and extreme. I learned the old school way of self-management while enjoying lysergics. My trips are exploratory, a pinch at a time. I don't trip for the shits and giggles exclusively. It's a time and place where I am engaging in self analysis and reality checks and I do best when my mind can expand freely , area devoid of distractions , no one to exploit my vulnerability unawares. I feel safe since interaction can be regimented openly. I ride close herd on myself while tripping. Keep stress nonexistant, remind yourself to breathe and take a look around now and then. If you start to feel untoward, remind yourself it's not real, first of all. Then walk into the bathroom, get in front of the mirror - take your jacket/coat/shirt off and lather up your face for a shave. Take your time and move slowly through the motions, don't nick yourself and don't miss any stray beard hairs. After about 10 -15 minutes, you will be calm and collected and forgotten about what had you been fretting over anyway.

"Aceteminofen" is called Paracetamol in the UK. Panadol is a brand name, not what we call the drug. It is utterly harmless unless abused, it builds up in the liver- if you are in pain that doesn't go away, get to the doctor, same as ibuprofen, and Aspirin- they're NOT supposed to be taken long term

Venlafaxine can also cause an 80% increase in suicidal tendencies upto 4 years after a single dose, can cause massive sleep disruptions, and "foggy brain", where you zone out and do weird stuff without knowing what you are doing.

I'm prescribed venlafaxine and I had no idea about these side effects 😮 my doc didn't go over ANY side effects for that matter. I just got prescribed it like 2 or 3 months ago, I'm going to have to have this conversation with her to be safe

I take 32mg of bupenorphine daily, kept me off fentanyl now for over 3 years. No matter how much an opiate user takes it doesn’t get you a high of any kind. Idk about a non addicted person but for me trust me, I’ve tried. It saved my life. I was on fentanyl for a year when the pandemic started and it should have killed me, now, I don’t even think about it. Also kills the cravings for alcohol as a side effect so I don’t think about alcohol either.

Probably has a gf he takes some of her script or buys more on the streets. Either way, 32 is preposterous. No one even needs 16mg a day. 8mg is fine for anyone , if not, its a mental trick. Bup builds up so 2mg a day could get people thru a day. 32 lol? Dude gonna have long term issues no doubt. Teeth issues are well known now too. Rotten, broken teeth

@@titmusspaultpaul5You're 💯 right. I watched my friend induce severe psychosis from tripping on mushrooms all of the time. Micro dosing certainly is helpful for certain neural issues but way too many people aren't micro dosing. They're tripping balls on the daily and damaging their brains.

Advil is ibuprofen NOT acetaminophen, that's Tylenol. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen are 2 different medications that do some of the same things.

About Venlafaxine: its brand name is Effexor/Effexor er. When you stop or miss a dose, it feels like your nerves are electrified and veins feel like they are on fire for months. You get shock like feelings throughout your body and you can feel your brain..which ie weird af since your brain can process pain but not actually feel.

I dont know why the rohypnol we've got in Nigeria isn't potent like the ones they've got in other parts of the world. Back then when i used to do drugs I barely feel anything if i take it, I usually popped a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 just to get high and sadated, they probably step on it or something hence reducing the potency. P.S the ones we've got here aren't white and round, they're green and capsule shaped but the inside of the pill is blue, that's why when you let it melt in your mouth your tongue turns blue and when you put it in a drink it also turns the whole drink blue.

First I have to say that you got a drug name wrong. Advil is not acetaminophen. Advil is ibuprofen. Big difference. One is an NSAID and the other is not. Acetaminophen is really bad on the liver and easy to overdose on. My little sister died of acute liver failure due to acetaminophen storing up in her body and then releasing all at once. She was only 21 years old

What is often missed, or better, ... NEVER discussed is when a medications side effects describe suicidal ideation. is Homicidal ideation. Often the perpetrators are on medications. The prescribers, and medications are overlooked. Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors are not safe for everyone.

My problem is that I like drugs a little too much. It's insane how one small chemical can have such a profound effect on your body. I have used a fair amount of drugs throughout my life and there are some that I like more than others. Opioids are one of them. I'm not a crazy drug user I have just found some I prefer over others. But take it from me, unless you have the self control needed to only use every now and then I wouldn't go off experimenting like I have.

I just quit Venlafaxine cold turkey and it has been tough! I didn't even know that a side effect was weight gain or else I would of quit sooner 😅

I've been on many different antidepressants over the years, and the withdrawals can be horrifc. The worst time was withdrawing from a combo of venlafaxine and sertraline 150mg, 200mg, respectively. I'd forgotten to get my prescription before a.four day bank holiday weekend (due to the coronation of King Charles), and within the first day of withdrawal, I was getting brain zaps, 2nd day I was vomiting and so disorientated I was walking in to walls-one time I was holding a glass of water and walked into a door frame, I should've had stitches but I was too confused. Luckily, it wasn't a life-threatening wound, but I did have an infection because I didn't go to A&E. I was shaking, confused, vomiting, etc, for 3/4 days, and also severely self harmed (burn that needed the burn unit) due to the withdrawal. I haven't taken any antidepressants since, though i do take medications for diabetes and asthma, I will never go on antidepressants again.

Acetaminophen is Tylenol, but it is NOT ADVIL! Advil is Ibuprofen! UGH! I'm sensitive to Acetaminophen, while I'm not sensitive to Ibuprofen. Tylenol and Advil ARE both NSAIDS (Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs) but they are TWO DIFFERENT DRUGS!
