The best shot was Ali Carter’s shot on the yellow. The white ball hit the yellow whilst at the same time making it look like it missed by a mile. Stunning. The shot could have only been possible by a player with immense persuasive talents.

I grew up 'round a pool table. I'm a solid player with that? Not Pro, Not Amaetur. Being an American, Snooker tables aren't found most corner bars( Pubs, whatever). I'm 44 this year. But? Been getting into Snooker watching on RU-vid just this last year or so and I'm hooked! Been doing the computer games for both. More lucky with Pool than Snooker but having fun. Love it! Watched that video where O'Sullivan came over here and proved he's a great Pool player as well. Lots of great overseas pros who can do all the Billiards which in my mind is very very cool! I want a Snooker Table though Damn It! I Hit A Lick? I'm getting one!!!

Pro players play so, professionally. Everything is so clean and controlled. A few of my friends are good at this game, but the analytical playstyle is not present(it keeps the game fun).

on Maguire's shot where the red backspins into the pocket, if you watch the white jumps over the reds, is this a foul, I'm sure it is as you can't play a jump shot, not that it mattered on this occasion as the white went into the pocket, also great call by the ref to say no free ball, its maybe something that should be addressed as the opponent is penalised in reality , maybe shots like that should be left to the discretion of the ref, the ball put back to stop penalisation of the opponent might have been a better call if the rules were changed of course

I get it. Smaller balls, tighter pockets, larger table. Fans of snooker have been bashing American pool for decades. Not giving any argument to it all but more people can enjoy the game of pool at home because of space available for the table. If you have the space for a snooker table God bless you. Most don't. Heck in the states it's hard to find a hall that has snooker tables. They just take up too much space. I will say however that playing between a pool table and a bar table is just as challenging. The smaller size really messes with your game.

Not a reverse spin shot. It was a forward spin jumped red. You can detect the forward spin after falling on table. I played 30 years 3 cushion billiard.
