How’s the meat of those cod? Many worms? You think they are there naturally or are they attracted to some type of outfall/scent from the fish processing plant just up the beach?
@BOUTDOORSALASKA
@BOUTDOORSALASKA 4 месяца назад
There are. A few worms in the Cod but nothing like Homer Spit Area. We are a few miles from processing plant. We usually Fillet them then soak in water with salt for a few hours and any that are there come out. It’s really not too Bad. If you need any information just ask. We Appreciate watching your videos we would love to work on a video sometime if the opportunity ever presents itself Thanks for Watching B Outdoors Alaska

Love your videos. I was fishing next to you briefly last spring at Whiskey Gulch. Are most of your lines and fish hooked from drone bait drops or is a mix of casting and drones? I want to set up reasonable expectations for myself since I can’t afford a $2k drone. I’m probably going to drive down to this spot Sunday to scout since I’ve never been on that beach.

We didn’t have a drone a lot of the time. My son Brock usually refuses to use Drone Says He’s OG. Lol but it helps a-lot right now because fish are not to shallow Yet. We catch fish 30 feet out in summer time. It gets deep fairly Fast . You don’t have to have one, but it is much easier in June-august. We had a $500. Drone over by Ninilchik and it died when it fell in water but it lasted a long time we just used down rigger clip to release bait. Once we used one it is definitely my favorite way but remember you have to reel it in.
