UPDATE: Spoke with the owner and the flyback actually came from APAR so I’m not sure if it was a dud or if it got damaged in all the previous troubleshooting. Also, I overlooked where the note said the D10 was still lifted.

Wow, I knew you'd be able to figure it out no problem! My only gripe with this video is your channel is misnamed. There is nothing "amateur" about this! ;P

Another great resolve. Unless you are saying your circuit breaker is slow blow I doubt an incorrect fuse type was the cause of failure. I think your assessment about parts quality is more likely. Especially if the fast blow fuse was over rated.

You said it properly. It's just a weird fake name I use on the internet ;P

Nice job Mike!! You totally put in the ebay HOT. LOL. I may ask for your help with a broken MK2.

I’m only 5:30 into the video but you just swapped the APAR and EBay horizontal output transistors.

I think you switched the HOT from ebay(3h3) and Arcade Parson Repair (93c). And you put the wrong HOT aside. Thats why at 14:27 you got 2 3H3's.

Hmm. Possibly. If so, then we got lucky.

@@MikesArcadeMonitorRepair I'm fairly confident the ones from ebay should be "real" since the guy I got them from said he pulled them straight from chassis', and it wasn't really your standard "chinese parts shop" type listing. The aliexpress ones were definitely suspect even after I received them tho lol
