You really come up with so many special and unique ways to use a cricut! I especially love the sign with your grandmother's signature. I lost my mom ten years ago and I know how much I would love something like that hanging on my wall. It would feel like I always had a piece of her nearby. 💙
OOOOOMGOSH!! #Natalee oooh TY TY TY!! I'm absolutely in tears!! Thank You Jesus for this beyond measure BLESSING!! WOW just WOW!! I'm so stunned and excited!!! Btw this video contains a BUNCH of my favorites you've done!!
I’m so excited! Shoot me an email at designedtothenines@gmail.com … Give me your mailing address and I will get it shipped out to you as soon as possible.☺️💕
I'm still in love with the sign made for your husband using a letter from his grandmother in her own handwriting and the Popcorn tin idea was great, I loved it! I have several saved and wasn't sure what I was going to do with them yet, now I know what to do with at least one or two. Oh, and Cricut had a great sale in February so I finally got me a Cricut Maker!! I'm so excited, it finally came in and I can't wait to get started making things. Thanks for sharing all your tricks and ideas using the Cricut machines and I'd love to see more ideas so yes, keep them coming!
I’m selling my Cricut and moving to Silhouette since they announced they are going to start limiting uploads to 20 per month unless you pay for a monthly subscription. Done with Cricut and was an avid proponent. No longer.
Oh My Goodness, love all of these, I just purchased a Cricut “Maker” can’t wait to see what it will do. Love your channel I’m now binge watching lol. Have a Blessed Easter weekend!
I really enjoyed your detailed descriptions! I have a Cricut that’s never been out of the box because I can’t think of things to do with it. I really loved the mothers writing, the big Callahan sign & all the « French decor ». I lived in France from age 18 months -4years & learned to speak both English & French when I was learning to talk; we had a phone with an accessory that was an earpiece only. My mom would listen & I would translate back & forth. I love French décor. Thank you so much for such great ideas & clear detail! When I was a teenager I worked in a paint store with a craft corner where I started offering classes for macramé, découpage & painting. I taught people why their paint pealed & how to combat it. .Kilz hadn’t been invented yet. The issue with the background lifting is the MODPODGE, it was designed to “seal” for decoupage; so it was not formulated to use with paint except to SEAL it for waterproof with one of the varieties, otherwise just to seal wood in order to paint pictures as in tole painting, which I also learned & later taught. It’s to prevent paint from soaking into the wood & causing bleed over. Maybe masking tape (rubbed on ur jeans to decrease the tack), instead of painters tape may work better. Its not necessary with the applications you’re using it for here unless you would like a longer lasting durability, just make sure you burnish the edges of the stencils well before applying the paint & only use MODPODGE to seal. It was also designed to lift colors from a rice napkin removing the napkin & leaving the print behind. I have a question about the engraved spatulas. Did u use the Explore Air 2 to do that? I want to make name tags for our animals but I thought I could only do it with the maker. I’d LOVE to be able to do this. I have an engraving tool for my cricut but was a little afraid to try it.
LOL.....making my husband watch MORE of your videos tonight on the BIG tv! 🤣 I seriously think he's addicted to your videos now too. LOVE that when you make HIGH END dupes that they're REALLY HIGH END & also I love that you are real & show your mistakes.
What a wonderful Cricut diys ideas!! I'm in love with the Design to the Nines sign!! 🥰❤️Great job. In definitely going to use some of the ideas, thank you for sharing 🙏🙏
Yay Erica!!!! You will love your machine! I loved each and everyone of your Cricut projects, but I was totally blown away with your "Design to the Nines" sign when I watched the original video. I just couldn't believe it, but should have known as the Cricut can help us out in so many different ways. Makes everything we do so professional looking! Looking forward to seeing what else you do with your machine! Hugs, Brenda
I use Thick-it & Ammonium Chloride together with a bit of water for large projects & apply to my wood signs for about 15 minutes. Then I peel the stencil & heat it with a heat gun. The fumes are ridiculous so use in a well ventilated area. It is a lot easier coverage than the scorch pen! Loved the video. Just found you today! I love my Cricut too.
So want one I'm saving it will take about 10 years but hey its worth the wait I'm sitting watching and when I do get one I'm coming to your videos so I can make all the stuff you do 💙
You are so truly amazing..you do amazing work and have an amazing ideas. Where have you been the last few years ? Lol i watch these videos and im always sharing and telling everyone the bloggers on Facebook and Instagram so many ppl have loved all the vloggers ive shared lol but beautiful work beautiful ideas thank you so much for being you
Congratulations to Erica! Thank you Natalee for your generosity and the inspiration you provide! I LOVE the fact that your Dollar Tree florals and thrift store find turned out so beautifully! I have to try this 👍❤
Great projects! I really enjoyed watching your video. I do not own a Cricut but watching your video makes me tempted. I have not crafted anything in a long time but watching how much enjoyment you get makes me want to get back into making things again.
Absolutely love them all! Congratulations to the winner🤗 I just just had to comment about the You are my sunshine pillow. I watched the original and it never even crossed my mind as to why you wrote 'Lovely'. It really blows my mind that that many people felt so compelled to comment on it as if you'd made a mistake 🤦♀️ Seriously who cares that much. It's Lovely either way and really speaks volumes about those people. Even if it wasn't because you were duplicating her diy and had wanted it that way or thought that's how the song went why in the world do people feel the need to go on and on about it. Ugh, I just can't fathom it!!!
super cute ms Natalie but one about your grandmother. I hate tatoos but I found a letter my grandma wrote to my mom . and she had kissed it with her red lip. So I have that one on my foot. so she will be with me till the day I see her again.
Congrats Erica! Natalie your Grandmother's letter and the doormat are priceless! I can’t watch these enough. Other projects are nice as usual. I’m floored that your sign is styrofoam! MIND BLOWN! The Moderna DollarTree plates are the same ones I paid so much for at Crate&Barrel years ago.
Cricut does have endless possibilities and I appreciate how you show me how to make projects with it, especially those pillows! I wish everyone could have one as well, and I keep trying to win one for my friend! I can't tell you how grateful I am for all your dupes, showing that we women can use power tools, (much to my husband's chagrin) and all your designs and stencils that you share with us for free!! I'm currently waiting for the paint to dry on my Happy Spring wood round and I got the Peter Rabbit print sitting next to me ready to display. Much affection to you, Sheryl
Love all these projects! You inspired me to make a few things. Tip on the back lit love sign - you mentioned the chalk paint peeling sometimes when you apply the Cricut stencil. Try sealing the chalk paint first with a polycrilic and then do the stencil. I think the chalk paint peels or pulls up because it's not sealed.
Natalee, you are one of my favorite creators. I would LOVE to see more simple shelving ( that won't require TOO many power tools), some storage ideas, and more of your clever lighting, (cake) stands, tray ideas, towel display/storage etc. I think Cricut is great, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with wordage. Maybe some planters for spring?! ... thanks for sharing! ready for new and different!
Such a memorable sign, it’s so touching and filled with love. The globe is so cute, my daughter would love it in her classroom. All are super!! Well done👩🏻🌾 I need to get one some day, that circuit is so cool.
First...you are so lovely! Second...you make me want to have a shop with power tools! Third...I have been debating for weeks on a Cricut and finally decided to buy one and am curious which you use? Thank you!
@@designedtothenines thank you! I definitely will. I just started watching you and subscribed. I caught you through your most recent challenge. I started working back through your videos and am looking forward to watching more! You are so talented and pleasant. I haven’t commented yet but you killed it with that green lawn bag! I have to tell you I have never been so surprised in my life!
Great Cricut DIYs! I've seen all of these before, and I was so hoping for something new. But Congratulations Erica Smith, have fun with that Critcut!! Im waiting patiently for new videos from you, hope to see one soon Natalie 🙂🙂
Just discovered your channel early this morning. Started watching and am loving it. Subscribed right away. Such a variety and really well done projects. So happy I found your channel. You’re inspiring me! Thank you for sharing all your talents with us. Great ideas and informative as well. I love power tools! 🕊🌞🌸🌞🕊
Hello again, I am positive I saw a video similar to this where you made a wreath for fall with little dollar tree pumpkins. If I am wrong I profusely apologize but I have found several of your videos but was originally watching on my tv not my laptop...I wanted to be able to comment. Anyway, I love your hacks I went insane at Dollar Tree and I bought all the fixins but I wanted to ty to follow your video. If I have it right can you tell me which one?
I love thefact that you did a compilation video! So many great ideas and I don't have to fast forward through the complete "cricut how to" portion. Absolutely, one of ther best videos you have done for an experienced cricut crafter!
I love all of your designs! I have to say, my daughter does all of my Cricut designs for me. Truly easy for me but I probably should get my own. Congratulations to the winner!
Fantastic work on all, love learning about the circuit and all your techniques on painting, Thank You & Big Congratulations to Erika YAY. Tfs. Big Thumbs Up. 👍🥰🙏

@@designedtothenines I wish they were more affordable its the pandemic sometimes we have to choose food or light bill I sure hope I can help more people not have to make that hard choice one person at a time 💙
These projects are gorgeous! My favorite is the Silent Night sign. I can't believe there was a Crikut giveaway, Congratulations to the winner. Currently I am researching to see which Crikut machine is best for what I would use it for. Thank you for sharing these amazing diys
So Man amazing ideas! I bought a Cricut machine and I haven't taken it out of the box yet!! it's a bit intimidating, but you make it look easy!! Thank you so much for taking the time to put these together!!
Hi NataLee - Loved the compilation video of your Cricut genius. I thought I'd seen everything you've done, but I got a few new surprises. Woo Hoo. I know I am enjoying my Cricut - thanks again. And Erica - Congratulations and have fun. Thanks for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
WOW Erica Everything is just amazing very helpful video, hope with my new Cricut maker three I got for Christmas , hope I will be able to make nice things also!!! Enjoy the video thank you for Sharing!!! I am a New Subscribed ... Liz x 🇨🇦
Congrats Erica you are going to love your Cricut. Natalee your projects are so high end, I love your designs and creations. So many I am going to make! I love any woodworking and Cricut projects, can't wait to see what you come up with next. TFS, have a creative, inspired and safe weekend xoxo Sandy DIY
Ok...I just had to laugh when she said “the more you use it, the more it will pay for itself.” That is definitely “girl math” because you are NOT saving money making all these things that you probably wouldn’t purchase retail anyway. It is great to have a hobby that you enjoy and are able to make beautiful things but let’s not kid ourselves we are NOT saving money. I’m a sewist/crafter and have been considering getting into the print/cut machines like Cricut so I’m watching these videos. It truly is overwhelming how much you can do but all I keep thinking of is how much I will spend getting everything I need to start making stuff.
I’m about to take the plunge and buy my first cricut but which one to buy?!? Can you please share which model you used specifically for the Star Wars marquee pleaseeee :)
Thank you for this video. Your projects are absolutely amazing 🙂 I just got a Cricut and I'm having so much fun this week playing with it. I appreciate you for giving us inspirations
Thank you, Natalee, for showing many DIY projects. I have questions about painting plastic hamlets. What kind of painting color should I use? What process should I do to make it waterproof? Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much.
The letter gift for your father, oh that was beautiful. Really got me💗 I have notes my Mum sent me and my son, and they are precious to me. I wish I had a cricut, and your skills.
Hi I’ve just found your channel. I’ve just got a CRICUT and I’m looking for people to help me learn how to use it. I subscribed to your channel and I hope you can help me learn everything about my CRICUT. Thanks and I look forward to learning everything that you will teach me.
1 If you all haven't seen a documentary called... It's worse then you think... By revelations of Jesus Christ ministry... I suggest you do... All praise and glory to the most high Jesus Christ
NataLee, you make using a Cricut so easy and I know it probably is; but mine still intimidates me. I know I need to keep using it and challenging myself....🙈💖TFS, as always, another amazing video. (Lots to learn in this one).💚🍀
Thank you, Natalee, for showing many DIY projects. I have a question about using color on painting plastic hamlets. What kind of colors should I use? What is the way to make it waterproof and no color fade.
I saw this video and just KNEW I would be fast forwarding through most parts because it was 30 minutes, but I sat and watched every second! You are amazing!
Wonderful videos with great ideas!! Thank you so much!! You inspired me, I subsribed to your channel!! -- what cricut machine do you use for all those projects please?
I don't like my Cricut. I've had it for over a year. Can't understand how to download files from graphic websites and upload them to cricut. So frustrating. 🙄
Have a look at diy mummy website. Like natalee she is really good if you have no confidence. I bought one recently and I must admit I sit looking at it. Then put it away again.
NataLee, I just love watching your projects!!! I love them all! I wonder what vinyl your using when it pulls some of the paint. Have you been using 651 or 631? The removable 631 might give you better results if you haven’t tried that. ❤️
It was definitely removable vinyl. I think that result was because of the gel stain not having enough time to fully cure, therefore the paint not adhering properly. That’s my best guess.🤷♀️
@@designedtothenines Or maybe try sealing the oval after applying the white paint stripes with the Mod podge and let dry. Then doing the "love" stencil.
I love the French lettering designs. I have been searching for a French font to use on my cricut to design signs like these. Do you know of a font I can use?
Finding the right font is always such a challenge! My best suggestion is for you to find a font you like in a picture and run it through the software on this site: www.whatfontis.com/ It will tell you what it is. ☺️
I Haags been watching. You seems forever I made quite a few things youvare a beautiful person. Alone with your talent. Keep up the good work ps how do I win the cricket. I’m Sr can’t afford it So I’ll take a chance. To win it. I got a mixer saw. From my son . Thank you.
Can you please reply (or anyone reading whom has the answer) but how do you make larger than the mat projects? Like, the doormat or the established family name sign - etc? I never cut anything larger than my mat because I have NO clue how to do this!? Please help if you can. Thank you so much!
To be terribly honest, my expectations for this video were very low. I'm not sure why, they just were. But right off the bat, you had some really awesome ideas!!! Thank you for sharing!!
I am just learning about Cricut and you’ve got me so excited I don’t know if I can wait until Black Friday sales!! I’m so excited to see what I’m going to do with this amazing machine!
I’ve never used a Cricut before I’d love to buy one but I haven’t the foggiest about which one is the best for what task. Any advice would be grand. This all looks pretty amazing.
When putting your vinyl on a curve especially a globe/sphere your edge will not longer have a straight edge hich is what you want. Cool math …when you but something on a globe(sphere) the geometry you know goes out the window a straight line (180 degrees) is now curved.
Try doge podging the stripes before you stencil over it. This doesn’t need to be done on porous material . Good luck Erica with your wonderful machine. Happy holidays everyone.
These are great DIY projects, although I don't feel confident enough to tackle all of them, there are a few I want to try. This is only the 2nd of your videos that I have watched, and I am so impressed. I have a question. I see you using your cricut to make stencils then using paint and peeling off the stencil. It looks great. I was wondering if using vinyl letters instead of painting might work on some of these projects. Thanks so much for your creativity! I'm loving your videos!
