Hi Relle! This is one of my favorites. The cafeteria ladies use to make Beef Tomato at Waipahu Elementary School. It was my favorite 60 years ago and still is today!
This is what I thought when I seen the ingredients. My mom would make this all the time! It brings back memories! My husband makes an awesome version. Thanks for sharing!
Nice and simple which is good for someone getting cooking lessons on RU-vid. Like the avo oil. Mahalos. Note: Spellcheck had problems with the last word.
Aloha from Mesa AZ. Mahalo for this amazing trip back in time. Hana butta dayz indeed. I remember tutu used to add green onions I think it was instead of the peppers if she didn't have them. Soo ono ...
Aloha Relle! So from the last time I commented on here which was 7 months ago, I finally made this for dinner tonight! Your recipe is awesome!!! Not too sweet and not too salty but just right. I know I've tried it from others making it with ketchup but I prefer this way better. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome recipe!
Aloha Relle! I noticed in your recipe description you have oyster sauce which I didn't see you use in the video and you used garlic in your video which you don't have in the recipe description. I'm about to try your recipe of beef tomatoes but would like for you to confirm it. Thank you so much!
I apologize. I had wrote ginger twice in the ingredients list, instead of garlic. This has been fixed. And yes oyster sauce is included in the recipe. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh man, I hungry now ... us Hilo guys call this tomato beef 🤣🤣🤣I don't know we always say stuff opposite of what other islands say stuff like tomato beef, ice shave, etc 🤣🤣🤣but still taste the same🥴🥴🥴 ... thanks for another great vid 💯💯💯
