Just went to MEM today to catch the morning inaugural Spirit flight and was glad the rain held off. Air Canada Express resumes their service to MEM again on July 1 for now.

So are the planes taking off and landing from east to west?

In this video they are landing on runways 18L, 18C, and 18R which all face 180° (South). So they are landing southbound.
