This is truly a brain injury induced by prescribed medications...I know there is something we can do to heal our brains...but we don't know yet. Protein? healthy fats in our diet? who really knows...I am so Grateful for your story it truly is becoming an epidemic❤

The longer you used antidepressants, the more likely you are to suffer from the withdrawals, I think we’d better accept the waves as a part of our life, no matter how worse they are. When you accept them as a part of life, your attitude towards them will be less negative and you will no longer be worried and scared of when they will come and even when they come you will face them with an attitude of non-resistance. Then you will realize that waves just come and go and we just live our lives.

Hi Melissa! If you are comfortable with it, I think filming these episodes would be really beneficial to others who may also be struggling with this and aren't sure exactly what they are dealing with. Also, as a medical student currently learning about movement disorders, RU-vid is our teacher for these and any footage would be extremely helpful, only if you are comfortable with that! :)

People don't want to believe that the medical industry could do something like this. They also might not want to believe because they are on one of these meds, or there loved ones are and dont want to except the truth. Those of us who have experienced it, know what kind of poison these drugs are. The awareness of this is slowly getting better. Keep spreading the word so no more innocent people take this garbage.

Hello from Australia. My Akathisia has been tripped for 6 weeks now for no apparent reason. Mine is mostly on my right side. As horrible as it is, it's a good sign your wave was short and you are having large windows. You are healing. I hope mine ends soon. It's so hard for our babies to watch. Here if you ever want to talk. God bless

I heard comments about Dyskinesia (muscle twitch, etc.) but not about Akathisia, which is listed in the video title. What may be done about Akathisia if the person is not on any drugs (tapering or otherwise)?

The hormone fluctuation at our period is what I have been trying to Myst, because prior to this withdrawal, I had PMDD diagnosed and I would only get grumpy and very mean before my period and once I started my period I would be normal and feel relief now after I start my period and I start bleeding. I am extremely suicidal and the world is ending so I know both of our hormones go into total withdrawal mode so it’s putting the person back into acute withdrawal almost every time because of hormones dropping has to be the progesterone since it works the gabba receptors, but then I am not sure I am due to get a hysterectomy on the 20th, but I am trying to decide if I want to take out both of my ovaries. I’m scared if I take out both my ovaries I will get stuck in the despare mode Because I don’t know if I can take hormone replacement therapy.

Was on ssri for 23 years. Benzos for about 3. Never abused those drugs but I have also have been dependent on opioids, nicotine and alcohol... I jumped off Lexapro about 3 months ago. I'm in a state of dysphoria and can't feel anything, really. Lack of motivation and no energy. Electrocution feelings and issues with restless legs. I have many small windows and it's getting easier. I'm staying the course for now. Hope you get out of this funk!

You need to film any abnormal reaction. I had Stage 4 neck cancer. 9 half hour surgery to remove tumor at base of tounge. 17 and half hours radiation at 1 inch from brainstem. You and Jorden Peterson talk about all your neck problems caused by Benzo Withdrawal and never had any neck injury. My diagnosis was August 2009. Even spent 13 months in Hospice care in 2017. I have weined of Vanflexine Fentinal, Kentamine and only on 1 MG of Xanax after being on 6 MG daily. When I am getting ZAPS and red hot ax and chainsaw pains everyone thought is was from cancer treatments and now we are beginning to blame Benzos. Xanax has been around since 1981so I thought they were safe. Or has it been altered into a monster.?

The black box warnings outline all the possible symptoms and many are neurological. Not everyone gets symptoms from starting or stopping but many do. No one knows why some do and some don’t but I’ve seen many many people on video in severe distress from these meds. The information is there but most people are unaware because they receive no informed consent.

@collinsx62
@collinsx62 Год назад
I don’t disagree with your reasoning. You’ve been burnt by pharmacology but it’s worth noting the two drugs you used are notoriously problematic. I would encourage you to think about sodium valproate because of its HDAC inhibitor properties, essentially it can repair epigenetic damage. From my research it’s the only thing that works for benzo/SSRI damage. If you ever do end up taking it, it needs to be taken with TUDCA to protect your liver. Best of luck.
