Dude the tween timer was exactly what i needed where an await was killin me haha

Glad you found it useful. I usually prefer to use tweens then the await because it gives you so much more control.

That is the same as standard python string formatting but I left it there just in case. Good to hear that it helped.

I wonder if this could work better than groups in some cases! also if you could import meta data from files so you manage your assets even before importing them

Yeah, its impressive to see how far its come along. The change it did from Godot 2 to 3 made it suddenly go from niche-looking to very professional. And the change from 3 to 4 made it finally viable for 3D games. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Omg the always on top debugger… why isnt that the default. Its been frustrating me since day 1.

Remember to disable it before exporting your game, since that setting is preserved when the project is built!

Under what circumstances would you want to write scripts without the use of a script file? You say for quick tests, but like what and when do you know your script has outgrown this hidden method and deserves its own file?

I like to use them for temporary files or, for example, in a debug scene, I need a mouse handler to test things (click to spawn or activate a object), and usually I don't like to create a script for that. But I've seem some people use built-in files even in proper game scenes, like using a built-in script on the animation-player just to start playing the animation. Just know that built-in scripts always come with the danger of you miss-clicking the remove script button and losing it forever. So its best for things you don't really care about, or intent to be temporary.

I promise I'm trying to fix that. I'm very aware my accent is very bad. I think I improved compared to the very first few videos I did, but in the most recent ones its been kinda here and there. Some I feel are okay, others, not so much. Hopefully I can improve on that.
