I was at ISU when Matt Campbell first joined up. He breathed some life into a historically bad ISU team and will coach pro before his career is done. I just hope it's not within the next few years.

Dame got beaten by Bama as everyone thought they would, granted if anything I'm glad it's my Buckeys going head to head with Alabama than it is Clemson, but I still think if we're looking at a normal full season that A&M and Oklahoma State are likely in over a Notre Dame. I'm not doubting how talented Clemson is, but I mean look at what Ohio State did to them. The only team to challenge Clemson was Dame and Dame got massacred in their 2nd meeting, besides that who did Clemson beat of note? It shoulda have been 1. Alabama, 2. Texas A&M, 3. Oklahoma, 4. Ohio State/Oklahoma State. Alabama vs. Ohio StateOSU and A&M vs Oklahoma would have been a much better series of playoff games. I'm sorry but I just don't understand the hype over Clemson. There's some great players there but their schedule is a joke

Championship era? Washington won in 1990 and USC had their run from 2002-08 with 1 or 2 titles, depending on how you look at it. Where else is the Championship era? Pac 12 is irrelevant in football and basketball.....the 2 sports that really matter

There are literally two major conferences that have any kind of attendance for wrestling matches. When it comes to national TV exposure, women's basketball gets more attention.

@@smedleybutler8787 don't be too embarrassed. Iowa State is tougher than you'd think. Their coach is very wise with pretty high caliber talent on his squad too. He uses the time of possession strategy to the max and that really screws with a lot of teams. Especially young teams that are rebuilding like Oregon.

Oregon had a decent team these year I just look at it I wish the Pac 10 and Big 10 had played all there games these season that way thay forsure would have picked up more losses in been out the playoffs conversations Oregon being #25 they should have played a none ranked team in a bowl in would have proly won I just dont understand the matchup in bowls I rather see the 2 highest seads play each other I'm talking like 5 vs 6 7 vs 8 9vs 10 wouldn't that make for more interesting games more closer games not blowouts to not to mention old rivals would get to match up like Texas A&M and Oklahoma could have been legendary these season in the bowl game would mean alot more I think to players if thay beat a team in a bowl in the next season thay take that teams rank I think that would actually be the best way to actually find out witch team is actually the Best that season

NCAA declared EVERY team bowl eligible. They knew Covid would scare a lot of teams off due to legal ramifications of any athlete getting injured or die.

And they almost lose to them as well. Only notable opponent they played was UNC, which I will give them this, UNC is a great team with a great offense so that win was impressive. They beat a wounded Clemson team barely. And Clemson fully healthy exposed them. A&M probably deserved the spot more.

I'm an Oklahoma fan and I'm kind of on the same page. We have a young team as well with many opt outs and still won our conference. I can see the Sooners getting pretty lethal in the next couple of years.

Congrats to your Cyclones. This was a great finish to their record setting season. My Ducks got plenty of bugs to work out this off season, especially at QB. The saying that I heard once before is very accurate with Oregon: when you have 2 QBs you have NO QBs. But this team is SUPER young an have lots of growing up to do. The sucky thing about next year is we don't start it off with a gimme game. We play AT tOSU week 1 😫 Hopefully by then some of our issues get figured out.

Really? They had to defend for 43 minutes, and they were probably exhausted. They kept Iowa State to six points in the second half, and the offense and special teams had five turnovers. The defense was ran over by the offense's mistakes. How many PAC-12 teams could deal with 4 possessions starting within their own side of the field? Big 10 or 12? They fought valiantly given the circumstances.

ISU played smart and used the Time of Possession strategy really heavily in the first half. They gradually wore the defense out.

Oregon wasn't overrated. They weren't even "rated"...they lost 2 games to bad teams, and then were told to go to the PAC 12 championship game...so they went ..and...won🤷 not sure if it was expected. As a duck fan I was not expecting then to win at all... Washington could very well have beaten USC and perhaps Iowa, unfortunate victims of circumstances..but.i will say that at first I thought it was a Cop Out when Washington didn't play oregon and automatically got a spot in the championship..so I was happy Washington didn't get in after that stunt. (Well..not a stunt...they a had covid..sorry)

Oregon used to be one of my favorite teams to watch.. Now they aren't quite as good.

I mean, what is highest tier? CFP? ND got blown out there this year. OU destroyed Florida and Iowa State beat the Pac 12 champions...I would say they have some pretty high tier teams.

Of course they didn’t. They should’ve never had the chance but only got to the Fiesta bowl because they backed into their conference championship game because Washington had to cancel due to COVID. Oregon were absolutely dreadful this season though. Losing to a winless Cal team and a 2-5 Oregon State should automatically disqualified them from a NY6 bowl.

@@iowarailfanner1013 Turning the ball over has been a huge issue for Oregon this year. They only had 2 games where they won the turnover battle, against UCLA an USC. Every other game we were terrible at protecting the ball. Sad part was that other then Shough's turnovers they were all caused by our veteran players like Travis Dye an CJ Verdell, both juniors. That's been one the Ducks biggest flaws of 2020.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. We had games where our offense was terrible and games where our defense was terrible and game where they were both awful.

The Pac12 made the decision to shut down the season, then they decided to slap together some crap schedule, play no one of any substance, have some chickenshit conference championship, and claim they were worthy of a NY major bowl game. It was nothing but a cash grab, that hopefully blew up in the conference's face...
