this should start a new niche in photography called professional shit photographers, because lets face it, not anyone can capture shit in a way that you can smell it thru a computer screen lol
I really like your videos. Seriously informative, interesting & funny and I never get so bored by the technical stuff that I lose concentration. Thanks guys
Bought a lens from digitalrev the other day, 40pounds cheaper than amazon, when i got it, i couldnt believe how well protected it was, on the top of that, it was free delivery and uk warranty! Love it!
I think if we remember the first quote and the last, we will always come home with some decent shots. Thanks Kai, one of the better videos I have seen in a while. Lately I have been watching some of your videos just to get a doze of Alamby.
I liked quote number 19. that's what I always say to my self that I don't have to take photographs because when there's something amazing worth photographing I'll be good at it because I have a DSLR, well obviously I'm wrong! Thanks for enlightening me :)
Its so lovely when someone talks about great and world-known people from the same country as I am from. (Robert Capa - Hungary) It makes me love the show even more ^^
LOL LOL LOL the interactive transcript is the funniest thing EVER! 1:14 - tissues your rain when taking your faces and to the following 1:19 - if the police or something and if you find that looks familiar to me hahahaha nice job
Kai is fantastic, very funny, I'm not gay at all but if was in HK I would certainly like to have him in my best friend's community ! Very instructive by the way, as always with DigitalRev TV, this helps a lot to take better pictures again and again. Cheers.

I went to the Art Center College of Design Pasadena in the early 80's. Charlie Potts who was the head of the photo department said "A client will always remember your worst photo". I have been a photographer for years now and what he said was true.
what's blurred out at 0:42? looks like the digitalrev photography bag...if so why wuld it be censored out? DigitalRev- protecting innocent bags since 2012...lol :)
I thought this was a really great episode of digitalrev, more episodes in future about composition tips, how to use different lighting to your advantage etc? :)
Hey Kai, what about making a vid about astrophotography? I don't know, maybe something easy like shooting the milky way! I guess you could find some great dark places around your town...!
DigitalRevCom can you do some photography lessons for beginner like what is ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, meetering, rules of third etc. please! this will be a very big help for us starting photography.
that last qoute, the camera rests on the passenger seat in the car all the way home. You just never know what oppurtunity arises, especially with wildlife shots. Some of my bests shots were from car while driving home from a location :)
Was watching this with my friend again...and I got a great thought for you Kai. You should watch the movie "hobo with a shotgun", if you haven't already.
"You cannot depend on your eyes if your imagination is out of focus".... this quote should be flashing and screaming throughout almost every page of 500px, flickr, and other community photography websites. You can scroll through those sites for hours and not find one single creative, new, inventive, or unique image. Everyone is so wrapped up in getting the sharpest image, the shallowest depth of field, the highest dynamic range, the most bokeh, or the most saturated thing their camera can do that they seemingly all forgot to make a WORTHWHILE SUBJECT!
ahh, the LX7 is actually 12.7MP equivalent, using a brand-new design that's said to offer a 1.5 dB improvement in noise levels versus the previous sensor. Total resolution is 12.7 megapixels, providing high pixel count at multiple aspect ratios.
Well that was fun. I'm not a photographer but +1 sub because there is clearly great wisdom about all visual arts and probably all disciplines known to man to be found here.
5:24 I always sweat like that (a situation caused by the mostly heated weather condition in where I live and some sort of genetic issue I have that makes me sweat more than usual in warm places), and it does make me uncomfortable and 'lose my cool' so I don't see things right (right as in processing them through my brain for better composition). Oh another reason I don't really go out shooting is the fear of getting mugged. :( This happens quite a lot in the area I'm in and because I'm just starting up and I'm on a budget, losing my camera will mean like waiting for half a year before I can buy another one. :( It just makes me shoot less photos outdoors unless I'm on any official shoot.
Robert Capa's quote always was my favorite. Some of these are also really great, but there were a few that I didn't like at all. Good job with the video, guys!
