He forgot to mention the Nether Reactor blocks. Both the Reactor Core and Glowing Obsidian blocks are in the game. The old Stonecutter is also still in the files, though it doesn't function at all. All 3 blocks can still be modified by resource packs too.
There was a glitch called "gravity block conversion" in 1.16.40 that let you obtain command blocks, end portals, barriers, invisible bedrock, nether reactor cores, glowing obsidian, and more in survival
That command no longer seems to work. NPCs still exist but they don’t have a spawn egg anymore. They changed how you get spawn eggs through the /give command. If you want an NPC, you’ll have to summon it
The elder guardian ghost when visualised, will always float straight up (which explains why they were suffocating, they floated into the nether ceiling)
Invisible Bedrock goes all the way back to Pocket Edition and was used for world borders. At the time, it was invisible but you couldn't see through it so if you surrounded a block with invisible bedrock, it would become invisible too. You couldn't break it and would instead break past it because it had no hitbox.
The mushroom blocks work somewhat like grass blocks; when they are next to another block for more than x time, when you break the other block, the spongy texture is where they were connected, so getting the textures like that wall is pretty easy
Another interesting quirk of end portals is they don't let you place beds under them. Or at least that's what I found last time I checked. I imagine thats to prevent you getting permanently stuck in the end. But if you've got a seed where world spawn is over an end portal it's still possible to get stuck in the end though.
There's also bugged grass items/blocks that look like the normal cross-shaped grass but in the inventory they're named "Fern", even though they don't look like one. They can be obtained by placing shrubs (a removed variant of the dead bush) in a legacy console edition world then converting it to a bedrock world
You used to be able to summon the Elder Guardian Ghost (EGG) as a real mob. It looked like a normal EG, just with only a few HP and it would float upwards through blocks very fast. If in water, it would just sit their unless you killed it.
The invisible bedrock is powerful ! You can't pass truth but the ender pearl, splash potion, lingering splash potion, snowball, arrow, fireball, large fireball, fireworks and ender fireball can pass through.
I want to build a maze out of the one you can't walk through. Can you imagine spending half an hour in an otherwise empty looking field getting more lost with every second 😂😂😂😂 The trick would be to make it so that people don't realise that they are in it until too late 😁
Fun fact, the mushroom variants are available in Java by placing two mushroom blocks next to each other! Also in Java, End Portals stay when you break the frame, and they also have the starry texture on the bottom. Lit furnaces and redstone are also a blockstate in Java, and cannot be their own blocks. Therefore, you can use the debug stick to access them. The piston arm does exist in Java. The interesting thing is that blocks and fluids can't move through it, but entities can. Good for displaying lava textures.
Another set of blocks unspoken about in this video are the Nether Reactor Cores and Glowing Obsidian. They cannot be accessed without inventory editing or that new weird thing that Bedrock added. They used to create a nether spire, but now they are entirely broken. Kinda sad.
about the mushrooms, in java edition when you place a red mushroom block next to a red mushroom block lets say, when you break the block the side it was broken on will update to regular mushroom (the spungy one)
There's also the Bubble Column block which you can't get in Creative, but can currently in survival on Realms via a glitch. It can't be placed in air blocks but can in water source blocks, in which case they just disappear.
The allow, deny and border blocks are from education edition originally. In education edition there is the /ability command which grants and denies player abilities. One of those abilities is world builder and decides if the player can place and break the allow, deny and border blocks, place and break stuff on the deny block and fly over and under borders. In bedrock edition they changed it so that world builder does pretty much nothing and is replaced with survival and creative
There was actually a glitch in the 1.18 update that allowed you to break and pick up the nether portal blocks. Sadly, it was patched in 1.19, but I still have the placeable items in both my creative and survival worlds.
If you use nbt editing software, you can replace mobs inside of monster spawners with ones such as the agent, Tripod Camera, and the invisible “player” mob. You can also give yourself npc spawn eggs 😮
You can get floating ladders and levers in survival, but only on Java. And it is pretty complicated. You need to place them on the head of a piston, and have headless to the side of that head. When updating a headless piston, it will delete the piston head and retract, but normally that would update the floating ladder, and break it. Not if you force the headless piston to try to retract 13 slime blocks. To get headless pistons in survival, you need to break the head of a piston with an explosion while the piston is extending. This is not hard, since it has 0 blast resistance, but the base has 0 blast resistance as well, so you need obsidian to protect the base.
Changing the name of monster egg blocks to “infested” is bizarre, in classic console they were just called “silverfish stone” “silverfish cobblestone” etc and because they didn’t come up in search, for the longest time I just thought the ability to create them was removed
Fun Fact: you can get a Wither or Ender Dragon Spawn egg using /give. Edit: this only works on Bedrock by my knowledge so I hope I don't get a bunch of complaints from Java players.
Fun fact, in console edition if you used pick block on any mushroom block from a grown mushroom, it would give you that block. So you could actually get a mushroom block that's only red on one side. I remember trying this out and getting 9 different variants of the red mushroom block. I don't remember how many there were for the brown mushroom though, and from your demonstration, it appears it doesn't work in bedrock edition, which is a shame. I also don't think this worked before they added the ability to get more than just that plain mushroom block in both creative and survival. I wouldn't know though since it took me forever to discover pick block exists.
Here's a really weird one: the End Gateway block. You can't access it with creative mode, OR /give, OR /setblock. Without inventory editing or glitches, the ONLY way to get more of these on bedrock is to use a structure block to copy it somewhere else. What makes this even weirder is that Java lets you /setblock them just fine, so theres little reason its so hard to get your hands on.
i was once doing an addon for bedrock and it was to give a random item every 30 seconds. one of the blocks was/is the Nether Core Reactor. I'm Sure you know what that is. (I hope-) the item is still in the game but just hidden away i guess- i even went back to the same addon and it was there-
I recently have added deepslate redstone ore and deepslate copper ore in a dinosaur I'm building, and i really recommend trying deepslate ores in builds if you have enough extra ore blocks. It can look really nice.
I'm playing on the 1.19.73 update and there seems to be an update for commands. Unless it is one of the toggles for creating a new world, my current setblock and fill commands have blockstates instead of tiledata. So placing concrete went from /fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ concrete 1 to /fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ concrete ["color":"white"] etc. with setblock and in my opinion makes commands all the more complicated, especially when trying to testforblock a lever that is activated or not 😭, brought this up to update you on how you typed in the setblock mushroom command
Toycat on Xbox how come you can't get rid of the on-screen keyboard ? It makes it much more difficult to type in commands, it's been an unremovable feature since October 2022, and there isn't many videos on this
It's weird that I have portal blocks in my legit survival world but I can't get them in creative. I also have bubble column blocks that aren't available in creative either
now beat minecraft creative mode with no opening creative inventory and no commands, you have to use pick block to beat the game (this is actually hard xd)
11:10 if monster egg is just infested stone check the nature tab you'll find all infested stones there and even polished andesite, granite and diorite which i kind of understand why infested stone is in the nature section but the polished andesite, granite and diorite doesn't make sense, another thing that doesn't make sense is the fact that there is a group called stones but the actual stone block is not in that group.
