I love how Mike puts personality behind each list not just reading them without any emotion. He makes the videos more entertaining and interesting...glad he's back🙂
My Man Mike, I know, older episode, but it was on my screen while I was watching a recent List25. This episode, as ALWAYS, was PHENOMENAL‼️ Despite l knowing all of these facts, your TREMENDOUS and INFECTIOUS HUMOROUS delivery, ( I mean, it has to be said, you have perfect comedic timing) I fully invested in every moment‼️ I have no idea what the writing staff situation is with List25 2.0,, though I believe with every fiber of my being that either write or HEAVILY INFLUENCE, and most definitely improv, the commentary is TOP SHELF‼️ I do now if it matters, but Ian ECSTATIC that you are the voice and face of List25, as it should be. I am exceedingly happy and proud of you for two reasons: 1. Regaling your rightful place as the Host with the MOST of List25! 2. Your spectacular physical metamorphosis. I was very concerned for you when you were, what, 65lbs. heavier? I feared for your health and well-being. You owned your metamorphosis. You seem happier either because of it or in spite of it, either way, I am ELATED to see you healthier looking, so you can continue using your gifts and Blessings for DECADES to come‼️ Ps. Is Fowler around? How is he doing? How are his films doing? I miss the kid. Much L♥️VE to Y🥰U, your Lovely Lady and the Whole of Team List25, however large that May be. Though I have every confidence you could run the show, start to finish, on your own‼️‼️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I actually have a cockroach phobia. One night many years ago, I whacked a cockroach with a pair of heavy Dingo boots. I swear it just turned and laughed at me
Also vultures digestive tract kills any germs those carcasses might have carried. They are basically disinfecting everything, which makes me wonder if they also could kill Mad Cow disease, which is normally extrem resistant to heat, acid and whatever. Having killed off vultures as a sign of death and disease, caused the opposite. I am pretty sure many small outbreaks of disease that killed hundreds of people, could have been avoided. Because people took the dead animals and ate them, got sick and then ruined the whole water supply of the town. Vultures are fast, they would have found the dead animals on the pasture much faster than humans could have gotten them. Anthrax is a good example. Sheep died, humans took the dead sheep to not waste food and infected the whole town and everyone died. Vultures could have eaten that deceased sheep on the pasture and ...bamm...
@@mushroomragu1171 Bald Eagles mostly eat fish; while flying they will turn the fish around so that its head is facing forward and its scales aren’t creating drag.
I literally randomly searched this channel for the first time since before the pandemic, and they started uploading again only 5 days ago, some energy got me
I usually don't watch videos very often that are much more than over 15 minutes long. For you guys I make the exception. I like that you're using the old background music, it makes me feel at home.
I am an animal lover too. They are my comfort, even on videos they relax and comfort me. They are cute and amusing and love unconditionally, and are my best friends. ❤️❤️❤️. There are very few animals i don’t like, and i don’t like to see them hurt. Even some bugs, i find cute. :)
I love Mike! I can’t get enough of him. He is so good at everything. I love the way. He goes through his list with so much emotion and and and comments and makes you laugh makes you think that’s something I didn’t know which is awesome. don’t ever stop your great people with you.
Fun fact about Polar Bears: when they are hunting they will cover their noses when they lie in wait to catch their prey. People will tell you that they are hiding their black nose so you can't see them, but they are actually stopping their breath vapor from making a cloud which gives them away when they are laying near the opening of a seal's breathing hole. I've seen them cover their breath when they are crouched in the snow waiting for people to come out of their cabins, too.
Now that's a cool fact. I know to hide my breath while hunting in the cold but most hunters do not. So polar bears are smarter than people. I'm not surprised, people are dumb. But I digress. Thank you for the info
Then there's the elusive Mike...a cute, cuddly critter that makes an entertaining pet but is known to wander off; sometimes for upwards of TWO YEARS but don't worry, after extensive research & keen observation, scientists report that Mike's are so enthralled with FunFacts that they must emerge again from the wild to sustain life by sharing their trivial wealth. Welcome home, Buddy ×⁰Xø
That's a great analogy, and right on the theme of this vid. When Mike returned unexpectedly one morning, it was like a beloved companion critter you thought you'd never see again suddenly coming home!
I’m so glad I found this video.. well presented. Love your narration. Learned a lot of new things. Great channel by a great person. I enjoyed every minute of this channel. Keep of the great work. Count me in
I have lived in Florida and I live in California right now, an hour north of Death Valley. In Florida it's very humid and so the temperature difference between night and day is very little ( figuratively speaking). During the summer it might get up to 85 -90degrees but then overnight it'll only get down to about 70-75 degrees. where i am at now there is almost 0 humidity in the high desert. it will get up too 100degrees and at night will drop to 60 degrees, since there is not enough moisture in the air to keep the temperature up overnight. (during summer it is basically 100degrees everyday. if we get a strong ridge of high pressure , we might see 105-110 degrees. i have seen 110 a handful of times)
Oh dear, Cetacea are broken into two suborders: baleen whales and toothed whales. Baleen whales are what you typically think of as whales. Toothed whales include Dolphins, Pilot, Belluga, Sperm Whales, and Orcinus orca So yes Orcas/Killer whales are just big dolphins, but they're all still whales, just toothed whales and not Baleen Whales. In case you find me being a Karen or Kevin, all comments are good for the algorithm and I have a Masters's degree in Marine Biology that I do not use so, it makes me feel good to share my wasted education.
Macaques aren't the only hairy thieves! There's a RU-vid video of an orangutan who unzips a man's jacket, pulls it off of him, and puts it on! It actually fits him pretty well, too.
I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. 🙏🏼
Your analogy of FL is spot on. Panhandle dweller here. The winters are wet, but I still prefer it to 3 ft of snow. What I don't prefer is the ridiculous number, size, and types of roaches. I rarely saw one in the north, and when I did, it was just the generic brown ones. The first time I saw one fly, I nearly had a nervous breakdown. Lol
Love number 16 about guinea pigs!! Most people don't know how to take care of them as well as how much space they need! I have 6 and their enclosure takes up half of my family room!
@@rivertam0713 -Yeah, well, lots of things people eat are kinda cringy, IMO. I can't imagine eating a gp, but I was a forty-something before I decided sushi wasn't bait, and now, eleven years downrange from a fight with tongue cancer, this 62yo can put away a seriously delirious amount of salmon, tuna, white tuna, eel, etc sashimi. But I wouldn't chow down the neighbors koi pond occupants!
Number 17: There was actually a cute/cheesy animated movie based around that! It's called "The Pebble and the Penguin", and Tim Curry voices the main antagonist in it.
The only thing I do is that we are the same as each other. We love our family the same. We grieve over death the same and we both suffer ptsd and we both are very protective of the ones we love and we both show compassion by saving our lives because heros doesn't wear capes and we both are loyal to people we love and if someone dies they never leave their side just like us. Speaking of which is it possible if the milk was lactose free where it has no sugar if it is lactose free is that ok
My friend has a Fixed Ferret my other friend has a weasel and I think he has an Otter? I have cats I rescued that someone dropped off a bunch of cats that were not fixed, so there was about 30. We brought all of them into my condo, get them their. Vets and get there checkups. I gave them to people who give them good homes. I kept two . I then found two more kitties so I had four. I now have three as I had to put one down..
It is Steel, not Steal. Not trying to embarrass anyone. Just thought I would point that out. Mike, glad to see you and your lists once again. Binge watched List 25 during COVID. Never subscribed. Now I will. Thanks for the entertainment and education.
But only the males. Which is funny because Perry the Platypus did not know about supposedly having a poisonous claw. It was in the series and puzzled everyone.
Just to give more infor for anyone who reads the comment about goats making spider webs: Scientists have put the gen for the silk protein in goats, so there is the protein complex for spider silk in the milk. So when you take the milk, they can extract the protein and treat it, so it can be processed into spinnable spider silk. But now it is goat silk. You might be a bit dissapointed to hear there are no cute coats, swinging around on silk threads like spiderman, shooting them from their wrists.
When the heck did Mike come back I just randomly stumbled upon this video. I had unsubscribed when they originally left the channel. Is Tristan back too? And I have a lot to catch up on
Lovely and disgusting fact about rat poison is after the rodents eat the poison they usually go back to their dens, if they make it that far, which are in your walls or attic, to die. It's definitely not pleasant for the humans once the rodents start to decompose and you can't get to where they are without ripping your house apart
This is why I prefer to have ferrets and dogs working as rat catchers. They also show you where the rats hide out, so you can clean the whole thing out and seal it. And dogs and ferrets will take out all the rats, with poison, if one rat dies, the others will sooner or later realise why they died and avoid the poison...or worse, grow resistant to it. Which is why companies have to go for worse and worse poison each year. There is a channel on here where they work with dogs and and minks to eradicate rats from farms, especially poultry farms and the dog dig up the nests hidden under the ground whole the ferrets goes in and drives the rats out.
Rabbits are incapable of burping or farting. So giving them food that can cause gas can turn out to be a painful experience for both you and the rabbit. In order to break the gas bubble up, they need exercise. But exercise is painful so they may not want to. Meaning you have to palpate around to try and break the bubble up yourself. It was the one and only time my holland lop ever bit me in the almost 9 years I had it. It was also the only time he ever ate a fresh fruit or vegetable.
Here's a couple facts for your next one. 1st - Koala bears have chlamydia and since it is contagious you can get chlamydia from a koala bear. 2nd - 3 animals have Ivory teeth elephants, walruses and the North American elk. That's right, elk grow ivory K9 teeth.
Penguins: FINALLY__a society without divorce--or any other kind-- of lawyers! As for giving a pebble to propose--so do humans; ours are just more expensive. Otters--sound just like humans these days! Do they have Karens? They're doing what they otter. Spider webs: Silk fabric. Surfing ducks: KOWABUNGA!!.... Pink flamingoes: Do they have excellent eyesight with all that carotinoid?
Fun fact, flamingoes are extremophiles, fishing in waters that are so hot it would kill other animals. They also fish in waters that are so alkaline and salt filled, if any other animal falls in, they would die, but not flamingoes. They survive nights that go down to freezing, while during the day it is basically the Valley of Death. Basically those hot springs in Yellow Stone that turned a tourist into meat soup in seconds? A flamingo might like that and not only survive, but also turn yellow or blue depending on which pigments the bacterias and other stuff in there produces. Also yes, they have excellent eyesight.
