That piece of crap? Won't even last 50.000 miles without spending a fortune in repairs which would/should be covered under warranty, but Ford will screw you out of your warranty coverage.
Thank you for your well explained knowledge, I just traded in my 2017 for a 2021 superduty and I was not show anything about it. Literally still learning about it as we speak, they should sent you around the country teaching all sales people for Ford what they're selling. Once again thank you.
I have the smaller 2016 F150 Lariat and I'm still learning things about it! I once was a chevy/GMC fan until I drove my first FORD F-150 for working in the woods back in 2009. I was skeptical about the ford trucks but after using the F150 for working in the woods I was impressed and jumped ship. Been buying Ford trucks ever since. Unfortunately, my employers buy only GM (Because they are inexpensive) which makes no sense to me. The 2003 F150 super crew was driven by our forestry technician crew until 2019. The truck was driven on logging roads and the only reason our forest technician crew isn't still driving it today is because some moron we had for an employee one summer rolled it going to fast on a dirt road. Needless to say, that wing nut lasted only one summer. Had I been the boss at that time it would've been his last day of work.
A working man can no longer afford a new or used truck. Still driving a 2001 F-150 that runs great. Ford builds a good truck but they are too expensive.
Ralph Wilson If I’m not mistaken you can get an XL for like 34-40k. That’s what you can get a car for. Payments not too crazy, and at the end of the day, it is a work truck, so why really go any higher than an XL?
Yeah, that's because they package everything. Platinum and Limited. Can't get one feature without paying for 20 others you didn't want. I hate that system.
You can add that the front camera on some trim levels has a camera washer . Just hit the front camera button on the dash and hit your windshield wiper washed button
Just got mine yesterday. Ain't nothing wrong with not towing - even though I will have to soon enough. But yeah, the truck is pretty incredible by itself.
Myself along with multiple friends of mine own f-250’s and 350’s 2017-2020 models and are yet to experience the death wobble. That being said mine in particular only has 16,000kms so far lol
hey never seen any answers yet. How do you start the new 2020+ vehicles when the key fobs dead? i know the older models had little holders for the key and secret compartments. what about the 2020 escape, explorer, edge etc etc.? thank you
I would stay very far from these new 10 speeds trans the blogs have been blowing up with them having very odd shifting patterns hesitations and in some cases failures hopefully they iron these out with updates
@@greeneman99710 watching the video was a form of education. Watching this video was free, and kept me from a trip to the stealership. I'm making money by not buying a new ford at this point.
@@sunnydeng9263 Many many rural areas housing is still economical ($60k - $90k). Of course, job pay is a comparably low. So, since pickup prices are roughly the same nationally, they are a much higher percentage of a good rural wage (and a top of the line truck would be comparable to a house mortgage). That would be like if you lived in an area where a house was $400k and the pickups were $400k.
Unfortunately as I found with several different ford vehicles the mileage per gallon displayed on the dash is not accurate. You have to go into a service menu and recalibrate it comparing it to your hand calculations. You will find out real quick these truck don't get that good of mileage.
Yes Ford, very nice truck indeed. I’m 62 years old, own a couple houses but I will never be able to afford a truck like this with all the confusing packages and trims that no one totally understands. You can get a nice condo in a nice part of town here in Arizona for what this truck will cost after sticker, prep fee, fees for fucks sake fees, taxes and license. Way to go Ford. “Come over here son, we got a nice older XL with a six cylinder that I can get you in to with your good credit.”
@@olesparky82 4WD, upgraded wheels, panoramic sunroof, LED lights, cameras... leather, massaging seats. That stuff is all expensive. Warranty was 7k I think. Also premium audio system is worth pretty penny. You really gonna drive around in a base XL? Lol
Air condition seats were never actually a/c. They sucked the heat from the body therefore removing trapped body heat making you cooler. Ventilation would be accurate.
So, with that fancy 10 speed transmission you can get as much as 18 and if you're lucky 20 mpg?! My 2001 F-250 with the 7.3 gets 20 mpg cruising at 70 mph with a 4 speed automatic!!---- And it's a better looking truck, better sounding truck. And also has a CD player and cassette player, and still use both! 😁
Why the h. would you want the six speed trans auto as compared to the 10 speed. Also why the 6.2 gas compared to the 6.7 diesel ? If it's about money ? fine. However if it's habit ? that 6.7 diesel with the 10 speed tran. will outlast two 6.2 gas engines, along with better everything (check the stats) I'm just the messenger. By the way, the 2020 " F-350" Lariat ,Tremor pkg. is your best all around. Regarding towing ? You want more tow, you get the "F-350" 6.7, 10 Speed Lariat, Tremor PKG. with is a 475 hp. , 1050 torque beauty.
@@SMiller5488 , I am working on the video with details. Video will be uploaded in the next few weeks to my channel. I will give you a hint of what is coming. The 7.3 will have major engine problems with overheating and camphasers issues, just like 5.4 and Ecoboost. Don't be a guinea pig for Ford. Never buy first year of production vehicle, because you will be doing free testing for Ford and discovering issues.
@@repairvehicle You do realize that the 7.3 is not a ohc engine but a cam in block pushrod engine you might want to get your facts straight before you start bsing people.
I can almost guarantee, you say you got into a low speed fender bender with those tow hooks as a buffer, the dealer will say you have a bent frame “we can give you $6000 for your trade-in
That’s why I’m driving a 13 year old pickup. My dad said he used to buy a tractor in the spring and pay the bank back in the fall. He could pay cash for a pickup and it had heater and keys. It was for work. Now pickups cost three times what it cost him to build my childhood home in 1973.
I was an independent manufacturer's rep for 35 years. Your segment/presentation in this video is outstanding. Great energy, great knowledge of features, a little humor and no "uh" and "like" in your presentation. Nearly flawless. I would recommend any young sales rep watch this video simply for your presentation. Well done. Nice truck too.
All these 'cooled' seats ever have had is the ability to DRAW AIR down THROUGH those little holes. There has been no 'air conditioning' blowing up through them. Just drawing air down into them, away from the person sitting there, keeps them cooler and non-sweaty. It's a good system - and the air goes INTO the seats, not out through the little holes.
Want a tip, to get the keypad code the easiest way. Look for your under your dash. Not sure which side on the super duty but on all Fords I've ever looked at, there is the smart junction box and printed on it is a barcode with six digits on it. That's your keypad code. I know on focus the unit is on the driver side under the soft panel. Flex it's on the passenger side. F150 has it on the driver side over the brake pedal. Don't waste your time with the keyfob trick.
No its not just your opinion they are way overpriced. Yes they have a lot of nice things on them. But when you have to take a mortgage sized payment out on them to buy one they are way over priced. And this is coming from some one who's household income is in the low to mid 6 figures. I don't know how people are buying these things its crazy when a truck payment is more than an income producing properties payment. I think ford needs to take a serious look at how expensive these things have become or pretty soon they will no longer be selling them.
In 2003 I bought my Dodge Diesel for 36500, if you add for inflation that same truck today would be 55500. The trucks are way better than my 2003 Dodge lol
something huge that got left out that i recently discovered is the new 2020 superduty’s have the auto fold mirror option in the dash settings so now you don’t have to get FORscan just to add that feature it’s already built in, now just change the setting and lock your rig and mirrors auto fold. love it!
Okay, so we ARE clear on the 2020 F-250 being lowered (roughly) one inch from the 2019 model. But what about the 2020 F-350 single rear wheel?? Is the new 2020 one ton F-350 lowered as well?
I have put on 1500 miles on my new 2020 Lariat its a Beast but if i set cruise and drive like im not 20 years old it gets amazing fuel economy for a 3/4 ton truck. Sips like a minivan. Few downfalls backup camera glitches from day one and they are on backorder for repairs, ford pass app is slow and staginant compared to the last brand i had. The remote start keyfob is giving me headaches working sometimes and not others. I noticed shifting into tenth gear only works sometimes. It usually sits in 9th.
Good Review. However, most of the items he discussed are available on earlier models and if you can find a certified use, probably get a much better price than new. Updated engines are new and the Godzilla 7.3L with 10 speed tranny are attractive to this guy who uses the super duty to comfortably and safely tow my Airstream. Observations: 1. I have a 2019 CC Lariat F250 4x2, 6.2L gas with 3,500 lbs of payload. My fellow Airstreamer purchased a 2018 CC F250 King Ranch 4x4 with diesel and his payload is a disappointing 1,900 lbs. Not sure this review included the payload on vehicle being reviewed? I did not see him address the poor location of the headlight switch, and the door locks? My ‘09 F150 had much better locations for both of these switches? 2. Also - cost of these F250’s during my search for ‘19’s I found about 12% off of MSRP, as opposed to up to 25% off on F150’s. Check costs on other super duties and SUV’s and sticker shock will hit you hard. We thought we could tow our trailer with a Ford Expedition, which would be more convenient for towing and taking our grandkids and their parents on adventures. However, when we pulled in the Ford Dealer and saw a $60K+ MSRP for an XLT model, we walked away! 3. Wish he would have discussed ONLY the differences on the ‘20 from the ‘19. Everything looks almost identical to my ‘19, except for the trailer backup switch. Here’s my MPG after 13,000 miles on our 6.2L with 6 speed tranny - avg 10 towing everywhere, in mtns and flat areas and not towing 15 - 16 depending on terrain. 4. Diesels cost on MSRP $10,500, diesel fuel prices per gallon can be one dollar more than gas. Oil changes about $40 each for my three oil changes at a dealer. Diesel oil changes are easily 3x cost. Daily driver - diesel not designed for trips to grocery store and errands. Seems they need to be operated at a certain temperature to pull moisture out of the diesel fuel. They cannot get to and maintain that temperature on short trips. They are designed for lots of hauling trailers and heavy duty like the many “hotshots” we see on the highways. Check TFL and Mr Truck and Big Truck/Big RV’s for tons of advice on selecting a super duty. Anyone heard of the Ike Gauntlet? TFL stresses TV’s on the West side of the Eisenhower tunnel, W of Denver on I-70. Their comparisons of vehicles and comments on drivetrains is superb and highly recommended. I think they have over 700K subscribers. Selecting the correct tow vehicle for your needs should be enjoyable, if not affordable!

Very nice video! I didn't know most of these items. Question - why is it the truck can move the steering wheel for trailer backup assist but not for lane keep on the freeway?
Absolutely! Makes no sense to me why a truck that expensive comes standard with halogen headlights. Its 2020 a halogen headlight shouldn't even be an option on a vehicle over 20k.
Ordered a 2020 F250 Lariat Diesel CC SB 4x4 around Christmas time. Now I'm approx. 5 weeks into my 12-14 week waiting period for my custom build. Great video to hold me over until the real deal gets here.
