Another barrier to entry is buying blobs. Shit is expensive. Not everyone can get a sweet line up like that even if they wanted to. Merry Christmas everyone
Merry Christmas Jedd! I'm surprised you didn't touch on the fact that he's scoring the medley all wrong, and should be posting up people's time of the last completed blob. He could have the blob medley challenge way more fun & competitive by actually tracking the results people are getting in a better format.
Any thoughts on Brian Shaw's recent medley version with Joel Dircks? Inch dumbbell lift at beginning and end (like double in/out in darts). You're one of the few people on the planet up for that challenge.
@Jedd Johnson , if i recall correctly, you're also one of the few (if not the first) to lift both blobzilla and the blobfather. I don't know if Joel has lifted either..
Jedd...I've seen that you have multiple 100s, but do you have smaller block weights to put together a run similar to Brian's? I'd just be curious to see your time and technique in comparison.
@@gripstrength You're on a whole other level! I've watched Brian's videos and many folks tap out before they even hit 100. And that's you're STARTING POINT.
I just started with grippers so I picked up a CoC 0.5, 1, and 1.5. I work out a decent amount and I felt confident in closing a #1. Not a chance at the 1 and I was definitely humbled. My questions - Is it normal for my 0.5 to feel the same as closing my 1? I’m feeling more stress on my hand than my forearm, is that normal? I’m having some soreness southwest of my thumb in my palm, is this related to my set? Lastly, what is the ideal progression when training (working your way up or going light gripper then max) and high reps vs. heavy grips low rep?
