@@yesyessity318 scrambling properly is faster than hand-scrambling lol there's 12 sides on a megaminx and yet in scrambling theres only 3 types of moves

@@looperover the main problem is to get used to those type of moved and get faster, for me is so unsatisfying to scramble it with those wide moves and uncomfortable because I have low accuracy for it and you have to grip the megaminx from 2 corners and the moves are very weird.

Use a magnetic cube, and practice, it's really no where near as bad as people make it out to be, magnetic cubes make roux perfectly viable for 5x5

1. Rapid fire tutorials are the best 2. Overlubing was a good recommendation when a top-of-the-line 5x5 was a good Florian-modded Shengshou. It’s not anymore. 3. I need to work on #12, #18 is a good tip that I will incorporate into my solves. I’m doing everything else except I use a well-magnetized Yuxin Purple, and I average 2:25.

I just started 4*4 jperms tutorials are nice after practicing a bit and in less than 100 solves I avg 1:35 pb 1:22 but my total mean is 1:48 because my solves in the starting were like 2:30 you should definitely check jperms 4*4 playlist helped me a lot

Cubing Encoded: 4. Cleaning up on your rotations Also Cubing Encoded: literally does a cube rotation every time when he has to flip an edge

You always have to rotate in 5x5 redux. Cleaning up rotations means making your rotations snappier and with purpose.

I averaged about 1:20 back in February and now I average 1:04 so I’ve made good progress 😄 Edit: at the turn of the year i managed to finally break the sub 1 barrier which was incredibly satisfying

I switched to Jayden mcneill’s version of yau four months ago, and lowered my time from 3:00 average to 1:35 average; it’s a really good method!

Look at Jay McNeill’s video of Yau. It’s basically Yau5 but the end of edge pairing is a little different, but a lot more efficient

I've been using Yau on 5x5, I'm averaging 4 minutes. judging by the 3x3 and 4x4, my goal 5x5 time is 3 minutes average 2:45 single.

lol the second last tip is my main problem. Majority of my 3x3 algs contain S or M moves which is just great of big cubes

Tip #18 doesn’t always work to get an easy edge of the last four. It’s pretty rare though

Another tip: Improve your 3x3. I don't think I can get under a minute on 5x5 when I average 20 on 3x3.

Tip #13: Maybe, I usually do the white edges first and put them around the white center, so I skip the cross on 3x3 stage.

I know all of the tricks shown in this video and i average 1:15, rip. I have a question though, what do you think of the l4e techniques yau solvers use? I am talking about when you slice, insert, slice, and repeat instead of slice, flip, slice which is what redux solvers use.
