Yes! Like most game show fans (I presume), I get a vicarious, empathic feeling of satisfaction from seeing contestants (& celebrity teammates, if applicable) win.

That's not fixing. It's just the rule. To be honest, though, if it were up to me, I would eliminate that rule. Whenever I hear a contestant / teammate give the correct answer, I think -- pass, schmass -- they should get the points

Wow, I just started watching this show. I was surprised when the word count went down in the first round when Carson kept repeating his words...I feel like those shouldn’t count!
