Happy mail indeed! The Beehive reminds me of a crochet blanket design by Scheepjes. It's hexagons, of course, with little bees attached. It'll be a warm addition to our future sunroom. Take care.

Wow, what a lovely gift! Watching you unbox those lovely yarns is almost as much fun as if we were doing it ourselves. Well, we would all like a friend like Edith. Those first mixed orange/gold/pink skeins are particularly amazing. And that rainbow colour ball is fun - I made a cute unisex baby blanket in those colours for a grandchild. I have yarn in my stash that I want to make into a throw (tealy green, brown, beige speckled) and it just hasn’t inspired me. Now I know that what is missing is that lovely burnt orange colour!!! Thanks for another entertaining, colourful and inspiring video.

This was a lovely set of gifts from Edith. The basket is so cute and detailed. The bee-themed project bags are gorgeous. The new bag would be perfect for a current WIP that I have on the needles that continues to outgrow the bags that I put it in. That's a great idea Amy! I was thinking of switching out the items more regularly on these shelves and keep the other shelves - where Hank normally stands the same. That way there always new things to look at.
Teas: Hol Dir Kraft - an energy lifting, 'bring back your strength' type of tea and from the picture blend of marigold, cinnamon, lemon balm or honeybush? Basically CITRUS and FLORAL notes. Granat-apfel is POMEGRANATE. I couldn't make out the entire label but the first part was Kirsch - which is CHERRY. Couldn't see the rest. Sorry. What a nice lady to send you these goodies all the way from Germany. That honeypot is wonderful. 😊
These are great translations and help me realize the flavours of the teas. I can see myself enjoying all of these. I agree with you that Edith is such a sweet and kind person - I am a lucky person to have her share so much with me.
Wollbiene is trannslated to Anthidium, which is a species variety of bees. Basically: a Wool Bee. In German 'wollbiene' pronounced: 'vol' as the first 4 letters in the word 'vault', 'bie' is pronounce as 'bee' like the honey gathering bumblebee, 'ne' is pronounced as first 2 letters in the word 'net'. So: Vol-bee-ne.
