2022.5 KTM 250 Factory Edition vs 2023 KTM 350SXF back to back ride! Back to back rides are a great way to get a feel for the different characteristics of each bike. 250 or 350F? Nice to have choices!
Great review! Thanks for sharing this one! I have long been a huge fan of 250 four strokes for off-road racing in tech tight trails conditions. They feel so light and more than enough boost for my application, any more power just wears you out and gets in the way in a 3 hour race. 350 is a very fun in between bike, but late in a race, that laser handling ultra light feel 250 pays huge dividends! Plus they often hook up and drive you forward when a 350 or 450 just spins. i am jealous of how many cool bikes you get to ride back to back, it really is the best way to compare bikes. Keep up the excellent reviews!!!
I have a 2022 350 XCF and for our races, mostly the Enduro's, I think it has too much power. Thinking about getting a 250 sxf and switching suspension and fuel tanks and using the 350 for motocross.
I used the myKTM connectivity unit to dial back my KR350 to feel almost like a 250F so much easier to control in tight woods....and then I still have a 350 with the push of a button! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C9Yw_l4NHTo.html
250F's generally spend a lot more time at higher engine RPM's so they will require more frequent re-builds. 350's have so much more low to mid power, especially the 23/24 SXF/XCF/FC/FX engines, they can be ridden more in the low to mid RPM range. Now what that means in terms of hours of ride time will vary a lot between riders. However if you check the owners manual recommendations you might find the recommended re-build hours to be the same
You can specify the fuel you want to run with the people at Twisted - they will load maps for different fuels (from pump gas to different kinds of race fuels).
I love your videos and im definitely not being mean. But i thinknyou just live all dirtbikes. I have never heard you say anything bad about any of them lol
I focus on sharing the different characteristics of each bike (instead of saying one is better than the other). All of the latest bikes are so good it really comes down to what things each rider prefers in a bike. Did I mention the engines in the 250SXF and 350SXF set the bar for most vibration🤣
