250k Raid Farm Overview & Checks 

CHECK THROUGH THE COMMENTS! BUT *** The Main issue after seeing several setups is timing... *** You want NO Mobs in the mid section of the farm when you strike. They Spawn - Fall - Take fall dmg - Then go under into the water Fall - Land - Open/Close - Slice Discord - discord.gg/xmpzrZqYAA - Watch the Video in the "Minecraft-Farms" Channel and compare that flow to yours.. Again, No Mobs left in the mid section... You may have to tickle a couple repeaters to adjust timing

So what I find happening is that if you don't start the first initial raid correctly, when new raids come in they spawn so fast that the spawning platforms get crowded enough to the point where witches will take entity cramping damage and throwing a instant health potions. If the witches are throwing instant health, especially after they fall down the shoot; will heal the evokers and causing them not to die in one hit, thus spawning vexs. Its not the timing of the redstone(if done correctly) its starting the initial raid.

For me it helped when i put the repeater at the top to the third tick and i set my tick rate to 34

great tips here. What happened to me was that even with a lightning rod on top one of my villagers were converted to a witch. After replacing it, the farm works perfectly

I figured a few things out myself 1. You NEED a strength beacon 2. To get the raid started smack the armor stand once the raid bar reaches 50% 3. Before reusing the farm make sure you clear out the farm using the flush mechanism 4. Last but not least, make sure you hit the armor stand in the upper half of the body to get all the raiders in single swipes Thankyou for this incredible build chapman!

Hear me out,I think the vexed spawning is being caused by lag. Because of the amount of items laying around,the tick speed is messed up for most people. Simple fix is the item sorter Chapman built to get the items out of there ASAP. My main reasoning for this is I checked out the world download and that world never spawned a single vex on me, however in my world,in which I have no item sorter attached, after a few minutes I had vexes.

For the ones that have problems: you need to stand between the 2 soulsand blocks, at least it was the problem for me. Do not stand on top of the armorstand it repaired it for me and it is working wonderful now

Hi Chapman, I rebuilt the farm block for block (via litematica schematic), absolutly identical, but in a warm ocean biome - no vex problem. The same farm in the same world (cold ocean) I was getting hammered by vexes within 3-5 minutes. New farm in warm ocean it runs without any issues for 1-2 hours - not a single vex! BTW - this farm is insane!

You can add vex supressors on both sides and that stops them from spawning

i had some problems at first, but somehow one of my honey blocks was missing after the first villager making it not stack the raid. forgot to add sweeping edge to my sword, then set my beacon to strength 2 and it works like a charm now

Vex Fix: Strength Beacon Thats Why. By having the Strength Buff you'll be able to kill the evokers before they see you when they drop down. (Meaning you have to have the best enchants on your sword aswell)

what can i replace the armor stands with or the string mechanism since the server i play on has disabled armor stand free fall?

I made the farm on my hardcore world and I use minibud and I saw that the vex would spawn when my tps goes down I think that may be the cause but idk. I replaced optifine with lithium and that seems to have fixed it

I had problems until I got the right sword and built a beacon. Fixed it right away

FOR THOSE WITH VEX PROBLEMS: The issues that cause the vexes to spawn are - 1) Server is on a 20 TPS rate - Vexes will spawn when the server is at a lower tick rate, as tested in this video. 2) No Beacon - You need a Strength 2 beacon in order to one hit the evokers, giving them no time to even have a chance to spawn vexes. 3) Improper Sword - This goes along with the second reason. You must have a fully enchanted Sharpness 5, Sweeping Edge 3 sword to be able to one hit most of the raid mobs (including evokers)

After more testing on my world, I discovered it was a datapack incompatibility issue. For anyone that uses 'Vanilla Refresh' Data pack and is having issues with vex's, you need to disable it or disable any feature that deals with Redstone. For some reason Vanilla Refresh messes up the timing of pistons and creates the scenario that I mentioned below.

Guys just build a vex suppressor close to the killing area, it helped me so much (the cow King (note build the "vex suppressor" that cow King built in his own staking raid farm tutorial) HOPE THIS HELPED

so for some reson the raids wont spawn. I downloaded your world and it works perfect but the one i built is exactally the same and they dont spawn

I am currently playing on a server and I have 2 problems the first one is that the vexes spawn an kill me when I go afk und the second one is that the raids aren't stacking so I just get to do one single raid an I have to go get a new bad omen every time im done with one raid.

I had a serious vex problem. They were spawned by witches in the water streams that weren't killed by the first swipe of my sword. Now I run the farm with both the strength 2 beacon AND a strength 2 potion. All the witches die right away and I have no vexes at all.

Does anyone know why mobs are getting stuck on the pistons? They are supposed to push them from the 5x1 to the 3x1 to take fall damage. They get stuck and the witches and evokers don’t take damage and spawn vexes.

I did this in our SMP i had the vex problem at first, for extra safety I just put boats in line on sides beacuse sometimes some evoker was able to summon some vex, but I think the farm is safe now I am able to afk for long hours.

The reason that vexs are spawing is because people are leaving the farm and resuming while there are evokers in the killing area. So if you want to avoid this despawn the evokers/entites that are in the lower portion of the farm and then resume with no problems. Pin this to help others!
