Someone give this man a medal. Last night I heard his 8 version of Master of Puppets and it was awesome, but this just takes it even further. The best compliment I can give is: it's been decades since the last time I have heard AJFA from start to finish, but this nailed it. Stellar job, great taste and MASSIVE technical skill. I really hope he finds the time to make the Black Album (and then go from there to a couple of Megadeth's works). Full respect.
Imagine hearing this as a kid playing NES. I would drop the controller in distraction over the epic soundtrack lol. Amazing job, dude. 20 yrs ago I dabbled in making metal band midi songs (mutual loves of metal, playing guitar and NES era video games) and I was always taken aback how midi-fying music exposes whether it was quality songwriting or not. Metallica always knocked it out the park. They''re an amazing midi band lol.
I said the same damn thing yesterday hearing this. Now where is my damn Nintendo when I need it. Good ole Castlevania dracula cures is calling my name. And so is contra
Dude you did so fucking amazing on this whole album. Can't get enough of eye of the beholder. This blows my mind. I really just want to break out the old Nintendo and just play all while listening to this.
you sir, i cannot tell you how happy i am I found an actually respectable "bit" rendition of any album, the way you map the trills and drum track sets this mix apart from almost any ive heard. I wish YOU specifically could remaster so many albums in my head - i dont trust any other bit drum tracks at this point dude you are absolutely killing it on this
The ajfa intro is so well made every beat of the drum is so on point and the guitar harmonies as well. This sounds as cool as the original thing!!!! Kudos to you man :D
oh man, this brings me back to the late 90s, pre-Napster. the only way i was able to listen to Metallica songs (outside of Load, Black Album and Justice, as I had them on cassette) was fan made midi arrangements. a lot of metallica songs, the first time I heard them was midi lol
Not the author, but I know a way. Export midi from Guitar Pro files (or get midi files any other way) and import them to a free program called Gashisoft GXSCC. Make sure to use the "full famicom-like set" in settings for maximum Nintendo power.
I realize I'm a little late to the party. But, this is my new favorite RU-vid channel. I'm now going to use this video as a, "Try Not to Headbang" challenge against my friends! SPOILER ALERT: THEY'LL FAIL!!!
awesome! shame that this was not in games on ZX/C64 in 80s :D ... but on amiga it could be much more interesting in these days, hell.... amiga was sounding like hell! i can hear chaos engine soundtrack till today from this amazing computer!
Most Metallica fans say their favorite album is MOP, mine is Justice... the riffs, the arrangements, the drumming, the entire vibe of the album is amazing to me.
I am not a Metallica fan. I am fan of music. I listen from Wagner to Prodigy, from Ella Fitzgerald to 2Pac....i grew up with hard music. For Long years my favourite album was the Black album. Until I grew older and understood the power of the Justice....I am ranking my music like so: 1. And Justice For All... 2. Mozart - The magic flute/Wagner - Das Rheingold 3. BURZUM - Hvis lyset tar oss/ Det som engang var The Short solo from Lars (it's about one second) in the Frayed Ends of Sanity is equal to Diana Damrau singing Queen of the night aria K620, act 2 Der Holle rache kocht Im meinem Herzen
@@joepermenter7228 no, 'tis not. I realize that I'm weird in many places and the music taste proves it. I just really like good music, no matter the colour, no Matter the age...
@@foosbabaganoosh1i honestly think 8 bit versions of songs further accentuate how crazy good they are.. its like putting the font in bold with the music being the font 😂

I was just telling a buddy that I will absolutely be listening to this next time I replay a Classicvania title. Might actually give me the reflexes to beat it in under 5 hours lol.
Hey assholes; Just wanted to say I DO NOT PUT ADS ON ANY VIDEO and if you see ads here, they are put there by the copyright holders *LatinAutorPerf, UNIAO BRASILEIRA DE EDITORAS DE MUSICA - UBEM, UMPI, LatinAutor - UMPG, Audiam Canada, Tangible Medium Publishing, EMI Music Publishing* and whoever else. They are getting money from this; Not me; I recommend watching this with adblock; If you do want to give me money then you can visit an Patreon that I inhabit: www.patreon.com/iand
I guess that proves that demonetizing every creator for saying a meany word is just arbitrary fascism and has nothing to do with being "advertiser-friendly";
@@ianDee Thats pretty much it. I dont know how many times Ive seen videos "demonetized" for supposedly not being advertiser friendly...yet ads are still ran on the video anyway so that ONLY RU-vid gets money from it.
