It's been 25 years since Game 6 of the finals between the Sabres and Stars that featured 'No Goal'. Sneaky Joe looks back on Brett Hull's goal that should not have counted and stories of what immediately happened afterward. Granted the "no goal" game was a major Buffalo bummer, but I go back to the 1974/75 playoffs, and I've never gotten over that season yet!

The Flyers had a tough and talented team but Bernie Parent was the difference. Time seems to have forgotten how great he was. An underrated goaltender if we ever saw one.

Watched the game at Pilot Field, might have been the NAP at that time. I remember losing and rushing to my gf’s car, I was 15 because we were ready for cars to be flipped. Being downtown just felt so weird, the air was dark.

Absolutely one of the key moments in the long history of absurd sports debacles that have cursed all of us Buffalo fans. The only possible rectifying situation is if Sabres and Bills win concurrent and consecutive championships for at least two seasons running.

Joe's comment that, "Gretzky did that (his playoff success) against goaltenders who didn't know how to play goaltender" is ridiculous. So Mike Liut, Tom Barrasso, Don Edwards, Patrick Roy, Billy Smith, Ron Hextall, Andy Moog, Eddie Belfour, etc, didn't know how to play goaltender? McDavid is the best player of all time because Wayne had his success against goalkeepers who didn't know a dang thing about goaltending? Ever try to pick up a goalie stick from the 60's, 70's or 80's? Try it sometime. I appreciate younger folks views but that is one of the most ignorant comments on hockey I have ever heard. 🤣 Conner is amazing and he's building his legacy but he's got a long, long, long way to go before anyone can compare him to "The Great One."

When Pegula announced that he purchased the sabres; he told the people there he will get the best off the ice specialist (trainer, rehab,scouts, etc, since there is no cap for them) and wanted to win cups. "Yes I said cups", Pegula. What happened? Here Kim, I'm too busy ?

If LA can trade Pierre Luc Dubois and his massive contract ( to Washington for Darcy Kuemper Washington earlier today) means maybe just maybe Adams can trade Skinner and his HUGE contract soon! 🙏

In 8 yrs Skinner average -11 +/- with NC. 6 yrs with the Sabres - 6. 8 seasons with NC avg 25 goals. 6 seasons Sabres avg 25. We would have to give up at least two prospects in that trade for a $9 million player with average stats
