Congratulations Lynn! Well deserved promotion. We know that you will rock in this new position. How wonderful to see Cory again. So glad that he was able to lend a hand with the new horses coming in.
Thank you for sharing what the buyout day looks like for you all at HPHS. Some in that group of horses look pretty mangled. 😔 We appreciate the empathy shown by the truck driver. He definitely did his good deed for the day! See you at intake ~ Jo
I don’t think they care and because HP gave out the order that they don’t like overloaded Trailers they behaved well, usually they don’t tie the Horses Seperate, just have them loose and have more than 50 Horses in there…
Great to see Kory! He is very missed. Congratulations, Lynn! You'll do great! So happy for you! Hailey, I'm so glad you're okay. Did the horse trip on something? Thank you everyone for all you do! Who's been on the camera recently? Awesome job keeping up with everyone, giving loves to all the different residents, and great, happy narration. Super, great job everyone! 😆🐴❤️❤️
Life has been ON HOLD for all the horses arriving on the slaughter trucks. They will once again be among the living. Peace be with all of you who support HPHS.
The horse shown at the beginning of the video, so down, so dejected.....I'd like to see him after he begins getting the care of HPHS. This change in expectations, honey, is one of the big pluses I get from visiting AND supporting your Rescue. It gives ME a boost in morale to see the changes. Thank you for all you do for animals. Lovely staff.
So excited for Lynn, I love her sense of humor and persona with the adopters...good to see the ol' mule skinner as well, Kory is always missed and a welcome sight today...enjoy the pizza kids, sure hope Ernie gets adopted this time, I have an Ernie cat too, so cute and take it easy Hailey, you're an important asset for the team...!
I really appreciate these videos that include just nice walks around the grounds saying hi to the animals. It's very relaxing and great to listen to while I'm working. So thank you! ❤
Love to see Lynn getting a trial promotion. Sorry to hear Hailey got bucked off but hope she feels better soon. Love seeing all the highlights around the place with all the animals and seeing their names.
My heart breaks for that one baby with his legs down on the ground like that he hasn't even started his life yet and the poor thing needs the last act of kindness and whoever caused that doesn't need to have any more animals. 💔🙏💕🐎
So happy for Lynn....wasn't she a volunteer in the beginning??? Either way she is a great asset to Horse plus...she's so bubbly...love her!! Cory came back!! even if only for a few hours! I really miss seeing him. He played such a huge roll there...I wish he'd come back full time...but I understand why he had to leave. Hope he keeps "Popping in" though!
I recently found out here in Michigan they are giving the spade kitty's tattoo's in place for cutting off part of their ears! So glad they are no longer disfiguring cats!
My dog has the same as the horse ( 24.30 ) after an accident, so during the walks she has a special made brace, and during the longer walks, I have a special doggy carriage for her. so she still can come along
I saw that Hayley 's horse was going rather fast at the pointbtgey turned out of the pasture onto the track following/driving the other horses and obviously lost his footing and fell. Glad to hear Hayley broke no bones an tge horse was okay too.
That little one with the legs made me cry, worst thing is it may have been treatable while they were a baby too. People can be so disappointing and then horse plus tries to make up for it.
Can you give update with the Bob Barker spayed and nurtured clinic in a video .Big hoof foundations aka Fletcher farms in TX take in Belgin draft horses for retirement . You should check out there RU-vid channel .
Please check out Fletcher Farms! They do fantastic work! They have too many horses right now, so don't send them any horses, but they can use prayers, funds, feed, and gifts.
I'm not certain it is DSLD. If it is from the same breeder that the others are from, these horses have a barrage of skeletal deformities as well as connective tissue failures. Like to me seeing horses with severe kyphosis at this age is not a typical DSLD sign as they are more likely to be swayback.A few of the babies have had decent looking hock angles as well, not the straight post leg look associated with advanced DSLD. Could be wrong however as not a Veterinarian. Would be interesting (but probably prohibitively expsensive) to have DNA sequencing done to understand the mutation involved. (Not to mention pointless as it wouldn't stop the immoral breeder from continuing this suffering)
Love love how Ryan works on the RIGHT side of the horse 🌟, including CLOCKWISE lounging. Take note: Most people are RIGHT-HANDED & and use the entire right side FAR MORE than the left side. Therefore the horse is trained moving COUNTER-CLOCKWISE 60-70% of their training. Been around horses since I was 8 years old...was 42🙀 when I learned of this from an elderly Horse Whisperer/ Raceh🏇rse Trainer. (THIS is WHY horses race COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, btw) Look for it in horse training videos.. ➡I IMMEDIATELY began to retrain MY body to work horses CLOCKWISE. ✔️Out this phenomenon, folks😊 From V.J. I believe I always said 30 horses is what we were planning on getting, when the semi truck arrived, there was 26 horses on the trailer. We’re not sure why they gave us a different amount of horses, but that is how many horses arrived.
T’would be good to learn the strategies of the gentler. Like, why he does the different movements and activities they put the horses through. It would be awesome if it could teach all horse owners to gentle their own ❤ PS: I keep trying to donate tonight but it keeps glitching😢
Corey had to go to work for a construction company for better pay for his family. Lots of videos about this 3-4 weeks ago. From V.J. (Retired Onsite Equine🐎 Ride & Handle Coach in Pac.NW 🇺🇸) ✌️🕊🙋♀️
Poor baby with those legs :( are you guys petitioning for laws to stop backyard breeding. Like people should really be registered with the associated Society and get a license. I'm so sick of seeing this. I'm 50... and this kind of treatment I've witnessed ALL MY LIFE! 50 years and nothing has changed.
