I think that is directly tied to his love for the game. When you love something and crave excelling in it, the hard work comes much easier. It's still work, but you feel like it's worth it. That's why it is important to find something you enjoy to have the best chance at succeding in it. Even if you don't love your current job, if you find some aspect of it or some purpose to it that motivates you to do more than required or expected, you'll stand out and feel good about yourself at the end of the day.

You can wake up at 2 PM and have 4 sessions in a day. Where's the logic in this idea that waking up earlier means you magically have more time in the day?

Of course, you are right that, presuming everyone is awake for roughly 16 hours a day then whatever time you wake up should not affect the amount of times you can practice. However, at 4am, or even at anytime in the early morning most people are asleep which limits the possibility of you being distracted.

Many people are able to sleep less and it's a routine, strict discipline. It's very hard to achieve that level without consistent hard work and it's a huge struggle for sure! Your body will adapt to the stress if you give your body every day only 4h sleep it will adapt to it, its like the squAt everyday method your muscles gonna adapt to the regeneration you give, i know in combat sports the most who were injured were those who trained rarely. Im training now every day multiple time since january and never was injured
