Kudos for offering something different. This is an interesting floorplan as someone who travels with two large dogs. Secure, outdoor space for them; spacious floorplan when they're inside. I look forward to seeing one at the next RV show.
Love this new floorplan, being a person who want's a patio but doesn't have toys. 31' 8" wondering about weight. Have heard a lot of people who have trouble with their standard 3-season doors on most toy haulers, so this door looks like a great idea.
I give this a 9 of 10, but as a fulltimer who also needs wardrobe space for their consessionaire clothing, it wont quite do it for us. But if I could have solved the clothing space issue for fulltimers & got Azdel instead of Luan, we'd be a lifetime customer. Keep up the inovatuve designs! Cheers, Davey!
Great Video . Will buy on ORV ~ 1 year . Can Ya all please make more of your interiors Lighter , ie White , Light Tan and get rid of all that Beige . Thank You . Great Products .
looks like its built off the 27TRX and added some slides. That part makes me sad but I like it. We have a 24TRX and has never had a "toy" in it. I have been seeing several manufactures make the smaller "toy" hauler that are not big enough for quads but maybe some bikes and I always say the same thing. No patio doors. They have a roll up screen so basically it forces the user to put the ramp door closed each night. This is cool. Hate the dinned Most people eat on there laps any more, especially at home so why should the camper be any different. move the TV down into a TV lift station and dump one of the slides. Nice fire place in front of it and you now have a nice cozy living space for 2 with a private patio/deck. I would love to test this bad boy out.
Thank you for the feedback and question. Right now we are not thinking about 50amp or a 2nd a/c. They way this floorplan flows and we use a ducted a/c, it should not need a second. But, you never know once we start getting more feedback. Thanks again!
Love this new plan except for the dining/entertainment layout. I'd rather have the TV and fireplace directly in front of the recliners. Otherwise, love it. Our experience has been that a 12v refrigerator hogs up a ton of the battery capacity. We have 3- 100ah lithium batteries paired with 400w of solar panels on the roof. It was a constant struggle to keep the 12v refrigerator going. Hogged all our power and required frequent generator use (2-3x a day when parked in shade.) So this RV will need a powerful bank of batteries. We love the high quality of our 2019 ORV 24RLS.
Love this! Love the patio, won't be hauling any toys. Love the apposing slides as well. Can you make this in a 5th wheel? We are on our 2nd ORV, will for sure be getting our 3rd in about 5 years.
Absolutely love the patio and sliding doors!!!!! We just visited a dealer yesterday (Ray Citte) and are looking at a 280RKS. Are there plans to make this patio model in a longer form factor like the 280RKS with recliners?
Hello, thank you for your interest in Outdoors RV. Since this floor plan just started, we do not currently have any plans of making it longer. But that doesn't mean we won't at some point. As an example, the KVS line started with the 21KVS, now we have 5 variations. Keep an eye on our website and social media.
If this had the east/west bedroom setup I would be first in line one to purchase. The extended night stands and storage cabinets above them, like in most travel trailers, are a major pain to make the bed.
Great floorplan and I am sure the next version will be even better! Please get rid of those cabinets on either side of the bed, no one wants to wake up and smash their head or face on a cabinet.
Thank you for the feedback. We designed it with the idea of seating, without the "toy area". You might check out the 24TRX, it is about the same length with what you are requesting. I hope that helps. Thanks again.
Thank you for the feedback. We did just lighten the wall color, carpet and counters. I think it looks darker in the video than it really is. Thanks again!
Yes, but the deck allows for a cool outside patio! Edit: Keep in mind too that it gives you a wide access. If you’ve ever had to replace an RV Refrigerator, couch or whatever, it’s not cheap! 70% (varies) of the cost is the expense to remove the slide and put it back.
