27-06-2022 - VN24 - Truck presses BMW beneath a tractor-trailer at the end of a traffic jam 

I am a retired truck driver in Norway. The sight these workes is being exposed to. I have seen close a man loose his head in a crash. This vision haunts me forever. Drive safe. Use the inside of your head. You dont have to hurry so much. Is anything Worth dying for?

Ein Wunder, dass aus beiden zerquetschten Fahrzeugen überhaupt noch jemand lebend rauskam. Und bei dem Scania hat der Notbrems-Assi versagt oder wurde dieser womöglich wieder mal abgeschaltet? Ich sitze selbst seit über 34 Jahren auf dem Bock und habe dafür KEIN Verständnis, sollte dem so sein. Ich würde das als Straftat bewerten.

Also wie der BMW-Fahrer überleben konnte, das grenzt an ein Wunder.

So ein Unfall ist ja schon schlimm! Aber noch schlimmer, sind die meisten Kommenatre. Denn die zeigen, warum es auf unseren Straßen so zugeht. Jeder hält sich für extrem schlau, aber dennoch haben nur die wenigsten eine Ahnung vom Thema. Sehe ich leider jeden Tag auf der Straße und es wird auch jeden Tag schlimmer!

The worse thing that can happen is when your death was caused by someone else's stupidity...

I have survived two life threatening accidents in BMW cars. One was 2017 in an X3 that hit ice and ran into a tree at 50 miles per hour. They measure the grooves in my seatbelt from where it was holding me on impact. The grooves went right through the seatbelt. I had a coupe contra coupe injury and could not make sense for a long time. The second accident in 2021 was an X1 where someone broadsided me in a median. He directed his car right at me like a missile. Totaled my car. I had 6 broken ribs, a pelvic fracture, a fractured sternum and thrombosis in my left leg. I was in the hospital for 4 days. I ended up with a heart monitor as I had arrhythmias. It was brutal but I am still here all glory be to God.

Horrible! I just cannot believe that the person in the BMW was extricated alive! He/she definitely had some divine intervention going on.

My husband drove a semi for 30 years and up until 8 days before he passed away from cancer. He once had a car go under his trailer. By the grace of God the driver of the car was not hurt. He was also in a serious accident due to another semi passing him on an icy road and loosing control of his truck my husband was lucky to only suffer minor injuries. Being a truck driver is not an easy life when you think of all the people on the road that don’t pay attention or choose to drive in a wreckless manor. Sadly there are also many people driving truck who shouldn’t.

To see that truck folded in half and the BMW underneath the other truck you'd expect fatalities, yet they somehow survived . Excellent video VN 24 .

I was stationed in Neu Ulm Germany for two years in 1973-1975, and had a 64 VW to drive which wasn't very much power to keep up with the no limit autobahn speed limit and driving military vehicles with a top speed of 52 mph. After seeing all these accidents I am lucky to be alive, but what a great remembrance.

Tak jest wszędzie. To nie tylko Hannover, i nie tylko Niemcy. Ludzie pakują się na siłę przed samym zjazdem, ktoś wcześniej zachamuje, ktoś z tyłu nie wyhamuje. I efekt jest na filmie. Ciekaw jestem ilu instruktorów nauki jazdy zwraca uwagę na ten przypadek? Pare miesięcy temu tak skończył bus między dwoma ciężarówkami koło Świecia. Nigdy, nigdy nie jeżdżę pomiędzy tirami. I nigdy nie wyprzedzam tira tylko po to żeby mieć za plecami 40 ton. Jeśli wyprzedzam to wyprzedzam żeby go "zgubić" w lusterku.

Es ist immer gut, rechts am Stauende mit 5m zum Vordermann zu stehen und den Rückspiegel nicht aus dem Auge zu lassen bis etliche weitere Fahrzeuge hinter einem stehen. So kann man eventuell noch ausweichen.

Wie können aus den Schrotthaufen noch lebende Menschen geborgen werden? Da hatten deren Schutzengel richtig viel geleistet! Gute Besserung allen Verletzten🙏🏻

Amazing wreckage. From reading some comments, apparently the driver of that blue car survived. I’m impressed at the street clean up at the end.

I learnt my children: never drive between the trucks, always use the other lane because of this 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got in a bad accident on the Autobahn (A73) back in 2000. I was driving a military humvee back to where I was stationed in Bamberg with the U.S Army and was rear ended by a brand new Mercedes going well over a 100mph. His car was crushed like a beer can and he was killed instantly. Fortunately nobody in my truck was injured and we were even able to drive the truck back to base.

Blown away that anyone survived that awful mess. Once again VN24 does a great job filming. ❤❤

Niemals im STau hinter Lkws fahren

I never realised that it was 4 vehicles involved!!! The lorry in front,the car,the Mercades box truck and the lorry at the back. They didnt explain how it happened but I would guess that the lorry driver at the back was either:on their phone,changing music,falling asleep or had a heart attack!! The other 3 vehicles were stationery and the lorry at the back created a concertina effect,he/she crashed hard into the box truck which pushed the car hard underneath the front lorry...I'm surprised anybody in the car or truck survived,a pure miracle

Kaum zu fassen das der Fahrer des Sprinters UND der Fahrer des BMWs diesen Unfall überlebt haben. Nun, manchmal hat man einfach Glück.

These recovery people must see alot of things they never signed up for. All done with dignity and consideration for the poor souls and there families. I take my hat off to them.

NOT MESSING WITH YOUR MOBILE!!!!.... and keeping distance saves us from many accidents.... and please if trucks are keeping distance from each other DON’T fill it up with cars because you interfere with the safe distance a truck needs while at the same time you place yourself in dangerous spot!!

LOOK what it takes to clean up a horrific accident site!!! It takes several firemen, with their various function operations, investigative police work teams, Ambulance team workers, Roadside transporter men and their knowledge and workmen teams knowing how to work their uploading truck vehicles. Then you have your heavy vehicles to help lift up the back end of a truck to release the vehicle stuck under the rearend of the truck. Again, you have the cleaners picking up debris lying everywhere heavy objects and small biffing into another large back end of the cleanup truck. Finally, you have the huge sweeper truck to clean the roadway for safer measures so the roadway can be finally opened after eight hours of hard labor. People who cause these accidents I wonder if they really realize the costs and manpower involved. It's truly unbelievable. My heart goes out to all these men and woman involved from the beginning to the end. GOD is watching and pouring out his blessings upon you all!!! AMEN and AMEN!!!

Die Fahrer mußten wohl einen Schutzengel gehabt haben. Gott sei Dank sind sie mit dem Leben davongekommen.

Da kann der Z3 Fahrer schonmal einen zweiten Geburtstag feiern.

Mansfield Bar wouldn't protect you from going under that truck , that BMW got sandwiched in between two trucks at high speeds ...WOW!!!

Aktuell steht es bei schweren Auffahrunfällen an Stauenden übrigens 1/37 für die Pkw-Fahrer. Kann gerne bei der BG-Verkehr erfragt werden. Die Herrschaften die hier wieder im 'Anti-Lkw' Rausch kommentieren und vermutlich gerade so ihren Golf einparken können dürfen sich nun gerne mal erklären. Warum gefährdet ihr denn andere Pkw-Fahrer und uns Kraftfahrer mit euren kleinen Spielzeugen und geringerer Kilometerleistung/Jahr 37x so stark wie wir mit bis zu 40t unterm Hintern? Ist es vielleicht Ablenkung vom Handy? Desinteresse am Autofahren generell? Übermüdung weil ihr zu spät losgefahren seid? Bei all dem empfehle ich die deutsche Bahn, hilft auch der Umwelt. Unter 1L pro Tonne so wie wir schafft ihr leider nicht ;-) Ich wäre eh dafür dem gesamten Güterverkehr auf der BAB nachts mehr Priorität einzuräumen und die Autobahn zwischen 22-5 Uhr auf 100kmh für Pkw zu begrenzen. Schlechte Sicht in den dunklen Rückspiegeln und Pkw die meinen mit 250 vorbeifliegen zu müssen passen leider nicht zusammen. Unsere Nachbarländer bekommen so etwas deutlich besser hin. Aber das wundert wohl niemanden mehr...

Und immer wieder die A 2. Ich bin froh das ich nicht mehr fahren muss als LKW Fahrer. Ich habe es hinter mir und ohne Unfall und Verletzte. Jetzt ist meine Rentenzeit die ich in Schweden verbringe.

Wenn ich ein Stauende sehe sofort warnblinker an u dann so langsam ran rollen bis ich im Rückspiegel sehe das die hinter mir das auch erkannt haben. So das ich noch paar Optionen habe Gas zu geben oder auszuweichen. Stehst als letzter hinter einem bist chancenlos

Genaudarum vermeide ich es, zwischen zwei LKW s fahren zu müssen. Immer wieder passieren solche schlimmen Unfälle , Bruchteil von Sekunden unaufmerksam und pänggg und hölle lässt grüssen

Seit wie vielen Jahren gibt es automatische Bremssysteme für LKW ?

Das immer wieder Hermes LKWs in solchen Videos zu sehen sind. Ach herrlich unsere günstigen neu zu gezogenen Arbeitskräfte 👍

Das kann ich gar nicht glauben, dass der Fahrer des BMWs in dem Wrack überlebt hat! Die A14 ist mein Nachbar und da gab es bei einem ähnlichen Unfall 2 Tote! Gute Besserung an alle Verletzten!

Man sieht jetzt zwar den Unfall, aber ich frage mich was vorher passiert ist? Solche Unfälle können nämlich auch passieren in dem die Pkw Fahrer und auch die Transporter Fahrer wenige Meter vor dem Lkw auf die rechte Spur rüberziehen und dann voll in die Eisen steigen, da hat nämlich kein Fahrer und auch kein Notbremsasitent die kleinste Chance einen 40 Tonner auf wenigen Meter zum stehen zu bekommen weil die sogenannte Fliehkraft bei einem 40 Tonner größer ist als bei einem Pkw oder Transporter. Übrigens ist auch nachgewiesen das bei 80 % der Lkw Unfälle ob mit oder auch ohne direkte Pkw Beteiligung, Pkws an den Unfällen schuld sind.

How about, here's a thought, SLOW TF DOWN! PUT THE PHONE AWAY AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD YOU TRAVEL. This will be the most likely scenario of this tragedy, people, put the phone away ,distractions ,and tiredness is deadly. Please all of you reading this or not, stay safe, you are in my prayers 🙏

Wahnsinn was das für Kräfte sind,ich hoffe das die Verletzten sich wieder Vollständig Erholen.Hab auch immer ein Mulmiges Gefühl auf der rechten Seite beim Stauende und Versuch es zu Vermeiden was nicht immer geht.

Som vodič kamiónu. Vždy sa snažím mať odstup od kamiónu predo mnou. Ak sa pri kritických situáciách mi do tohto odstupu zaradí osobné auto , nemám čas to ubrzdiť. Toto sa stáva dosť často.

Der BMW-Fahrer weiß jetzt, dass er beim Anhalten auf einer Hochgeschwindigkeitsstraße oder Autobahn in den Rückspiegel schauen muss. Was hinter dir liegt, ist genauso wichtig wie das, was vor dir liegt.

These men are marvelous - they know their equipment and have to have the know on how to best think out their procedure in this case - great job men of the roads!!!

You have to ask yourself why did this happen. It’s not always the truck drivers fault. A car driver can also run into a traffic jam, if no one USES THE HAZARD LIGHTS. Use distance as well to the car in front of you. Everyone can miscalculate speed, therefore it is necessary to turn on your hazard lights at the end or before a traffic jam. If everybody does that, there’d be much less people dead.

The Mansfield bar. A great idea brought out of the tragedy of Jane Mansfield in a truck collision. They help, but it may have made the car go a different way and collide with another vehicle. I think your time is your time and nothing was stopping this 100% speed played a factor. God bless friends and family of all those involved 🙏 ❤️

El conductor de bmw se salvó porque el roadster Z3 es un automóvil naturalmente muy bajo y eso evitó lo que sucede habitualmente en estos casos, la decapitación de los ocupantes... En otro modelo, como por ejemplo un turismo normal, la historia habría sido muy diferente... y más trágica.

En estos accidentes, lo impresionante es el olor.

Há muito que percebo que maioria dos acidentes nas estradas alemã são proveniente de colisão traseira , por diversas razões como fadiga, uso indevido de celular e falta de atenção, e também a legislação que controla segurança dos caminhões não se dão conta da fragilidade dos para-choques traseiro dos caminhões e carretas.
