🥶A STRONG COLD FRONT will bring COLD, WET & WINDY weather to the Cape Provinces this weekend, with the COLD conditions spreading over central and eastern SA from Sunday.

🟠Orange Level 5: Disruptive Rainfall leading o flooding of roads and settlements is expected over the City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands and the Theewaterskloof municipalities of the Western Cape.
🟠Orange Level 6: Damaging Winds and Waves leading to difficulty in navigating at sea is expected between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas Saturday morning spreading to Alexander Bay and Plettenberg Bay by Saturday evening.
🟡Yellow Level 4: Disruptive Rain leading to disruption of traffic flow due to major roads being flooded and damage to property is expected over the West Coast, Langeberg, Overstrand and Cape Agulhas municipalities of the Western Cape.
🟡Yellow Level 3: Damaging Interior Winds leading to possible difficult driving conditions, especially over major routes is expected over the southern high ground of Namakwa in the Northern Cape, and the City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, Overberg, Garden Route and Central Karoo municipalities of the Western Cape.
🟡Yellow Level 2: Damaging Winds and Waves leading to difficulty in navigating at sea is expected between Plettenberg Bay and Port Alfred from Saturday afternoon.

A significant cold front is expected to affect the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape from Saturday through Monday. The public and small stock farmers are advised about the expected strong winds and very cold temperatures across the Cape Provinces. Heavy rain is expected to be confined along the Cape south-west coast and adjacent interior on Saturday, but very rough seas conditions will also spread along the Cape west and south coasts on Sunday when snowfall will be likely on the southern Drakensberg region.
