I bought an $8 bar at Aldi today and tried this out. I have been doing weight training and was shocked at how this kicked my butt! I'll definitely be doing the rest of the series!
After a long wait, my pilates bar FINALLY came in, so I was able to start this challenge. I love it! Day 1 really showed me how my arms really need some work!
This was a super informative qorkout and easy to follow! I got a pilates bar and struggled finding any workouts that really broke each step down. Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow!❤

I just got a Pilates bar. This was my first workout. Used the lowest weight bands that came with it (20lbs) and my arms are jelly! Loved this and excited to follow the 28 day challenge!
Oh wow! This was my first pilates band workout, and it was challenging! I'm glad I went with the lighter resistance option as I couldn't always get the full range of motion. I've been doing mat pilates for a while and have great core strength, but dang, my arms need some work. Thank you
Just did DAY 1 CHALLENGE!!!! Found it great to add on my off days from workouts with my trainer. It was a lil uncomfortable the first time around with my toes on the bar, but I understand it takes getting used to. Hope you are all doing well from Day !! Let’s get it!❤❤
Thank you so much! Loved day 1. My arms are burning 😂. Immediately realized how quickly I got out of shape. The video was perfect. Long enough to burn, short enough not to die….lol. I am in the US so my challenge day will be a day behind (due to time difference). I’m excited to get my strength and flexibility back. Look forward to day 2
Just joined - got my bar a few days ago and was not sure what to do next. I am so glad I found your channel - I am over 50 and glad to be taking lessons from someone more my own age....your classes look so good I decided to join and start with the 28 day challenge.

So today marks day 1 one for me. I’ve had a lot of injuries in the last 4 years including surgeries and procedures so I am taking it day by day. I’m proud of myself for Day 1. 🎉
Day 1 done! I am seriously out of shape and couldn't fully do everything especially the to the side and lift your arm part but I did my best. Got a little sweaty. Can't wait for day 2!
Oh my goodness I could only do up to 7 mins!! A lot harder than I thought it would be. My arms were burning. Great video by the way. I am learning a lot and am curious what 28 days will look like . I figure it may take 40-50 days to actually complete the whole challenge due to how slow I will go :)

Good Morning … that’s great news. Enjoy the journey. My bar doesn’t have adjustable weights, I’d say keep it light and focus on getting the movements right, your breathing and your posture x Have fun with your bar 💯

Great to hear you’ve started. 5 repetitions of each exercise is a great start. Keep listening to your body and do what feels right. Imagine how much stronger you’ll be in a couple of months time if you work your way through the challenge doing a workout every other day or every day, whatever works best for you. @PilateswithDonnaFinnie Oh wow, thanks for asking. I am committed and determined to finish. I have completed 11 days and on track to finish on the 28th. I enjoy your workouts and you often make me laugh which is good. Most times, I am laughing at myself fighting with the bar.The other day was a bit much on my knees, think day 7, wondered if I should have done that standing. Otherwise, I love the challenge of a different type of workout. Thanks for creating the challenge. Hope you are doing well.

Wowzers! My shoulders are on fire! 🔥 I know this won’t be easy but I am in it! I had back surgery last September and was finally given the go ahead to get back into my workouts. Pilates from here on out. I need to get my strength back. It’s been way too long! I’m looking forward to giving my body what she needs. Strength, balance, love and grace. 🙏🏻💜
I found out i got fatty liver. It is bit high. I got a bar. This is a great workout. My daughter is 10 years old. She works to join. We are going Courage each other. Thank you
Whew! I thought I was fairly strong but this kicked my butt! I couldn't lift the bands nearly as high as you do! I have a new goal! Loved this and subscribed.
This was fantastic! I have Multiple Sclerosis, which comes with balance & strength issues. A low impact workout like this was awesome & am looking forward to the next 27 days!
I’ve done 3 days of your full body workout video from a year ago and finally decided to venture more into your entire RU-vid videos. Truth is Monday was day one and I only got 10 minutes into your 20 minute video. Tuesday my thighs were so sore it hurt to move around and I decided to skip that day. Wednesday and today Thursday I was able to do the full 20 minutes 🎉 I’m more confident and can’t wait to start this 28 day challenge tomorrow! 💪 ❤

Take rest days when you need them , do more or less repetitions if that’s what your body needs. Progress takes time but is so worth it 💯💪. Enjoy 😉 Proud of you 👍
Welcome onboard. Congratulations on completing day 1. Getting started can be so challenging, please be proud of yourself and patient. Take the challenge a day at a time and give yourself rest days as and when you need them. It doesn’t matter if it takes you 2 months to complete….. you’ll hopefully get stronger physically and mentally through the process 🤞♥️. I've recently started incorporating strength training into my wellness journey. I've never done pilates but it looked like something I could do that would be challenging and enjoyable. My arms are burning in that good way!
